| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [4:92] | Wama kana limu/minin anyaqtula mu/minan illa khataan waman qatala mu/minankhataan fatahreeru raqabatin mu/minatin wadiyatunmusallamatun ila ahlihi illa an yassaddaqoofa-in kana min qawmin AAaduwwin lakum wahuwa mu/minun fatahreeruraqabatin mu/minatin wa-in kana min qawmin baynakumwabaynahum meethaqun fadiyatun musallamatun ilaahlihi watahreeru raqabatin mu/minatin faman lam yajid fasiyamushahrayni mutatabiAAayni tawbatan mina Allahi wakanaAllahu AAaleeman hakeeman |  وما كان لمؤمن أن يقتل مؤمنا إلا خطأ ومن قتل مؤمنا خطأ فتحرير رقبة مؤمنة ودية مسلمة إلى أهله إلا أن يصدقوا فإن كان من قوم عدو لكم وهو مؤمن فتحرير رقبة مؤمنة وإن كان من قوم بينكم وبينهم ميثاق فدية مسلمة إلى أهله وتحرير رقبة مؤمنة فمن لم يجد فصيام شهرين متتابعين توبة من الله وكان الله عليما حكيماوَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ أَن يَقْتُلَ مُؤْمِنًا إِلاَّ خَطَئًا وَمَن قَتَلَ مُؤْمِنًا خَطَئًا فَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُّؤْمِنَةٍ وَدِيَةٌ مُّسَلَّمَةٌ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ إِلاَّ أَن يَصَّدَّقُواْ فَإِن كَانَ مِن قَوْمٍ عَدُوٍّ لَّكُمْ وَهُوَ مْؤْمِنٌ فَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُّؤْمِنَةٍ وَإِن كَانَ مِن قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ مِّيثَاقٌ فَدِيَةٌ مُّسَلَّمَةٌ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ وَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُّؤْمِنَةٍ فَمَن لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ تَوْبَةً مِّنَ اللّهِ وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور کسی مسلمان کے لئے (جائز) نہیں کہ وہ کسی مسلمان کو قتل کر دے مگر (بغیر قصد) غلطی سے، اور جس نے کسی مسلمان کو نادانستہ قتل کر دیا تو (اس پر) ایک مسلمان غلام / باندی کا آزاد کرنا اور خون بہا (کا ادا کرنا) جو مقتول کے گھر والوں کے سپرد کیا جائے (لازم ہے) مگر یہ کہ وہ معاف کر دیں، پھر اگر وہ (مقتول) تمہاری دشمن قوم سے ہو اور وہ مومن (بھی) ہو تو (صرف) ایک غلام / باندی کا آزاد کرنا (ہی لازم) ہے، اور اگر وہ (مقتول) اس قوم میں سے ہو کہ تمہارے اور ان کے درمیان (صلح کا) معاہدہ ہے تو خون بہا (بھی) جو اس کے گھر والوں کے سپرد کیا جائے اور ایک مسلمان غلام / باندی کا آزاد کرنا (بھی لازم) ہے۔ پھر جس شخص کو (غلام / باندی) میسر نہ ہو تو (اس پر) پے در پے دو مہینے کے روزے (لازم) ہیں۔ اللہ کی طرف سے (یہ اس کی) توبہ ہے، اور اللہ خوب جاننے والا بڑی حکمت والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Never should a believer kill a believer; but (If it so happens) by mistake, (Compensation is due): If one (so) kills a believer, it is ordained that he should free a believing slave, and pay compensation to the deceased's family, unless they remit it freely. If the deceased belonged to a people at war with you, and he was a believer, the freeing of a believing slave (Is enough). If he belonged to a people with whom ye have treaty of Mutual alliance, compensation should be paid to his family, and a believing slave be freed. For those who find this beyond their means, (is prescribed) a fast for two months running: by way of repentance to Allah: for Allah hath all knowledge and all wisdom.

[5:113] | Qaloo nureedu an na/kula minhawatatma-inna quloobuna wanaAAlama an qad sadaqtanawanakoona AAalayha mina alshshahideena | قالوا نريد أن نأكل منها وتطمئن قلوبنا ونعلم أن قد صدقتنا ونكون عليها من الشاهدين قَالُواْ نُرِيدُ أَن نَّأْكُلَ مِنْهَا وَتَطْمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُنَا وَنَعْلَمَ أَن قَدْ صَدَقْتَنَا وَنَكُونَ عَلَيْهَا مِنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ کہنے لگے: ہم (تو صرف) یہ چاہتے ہیں کہ اس میں سے کھائیں اور ہمارے دل مطمئن ہو جائیں اور ہم (مزید یقین سے) جان لیں کہ آپ نے ہم سے سچ کہا ہے اور ہم اس (خوانِ نعمت کے اترنے) پر گواہ ہو جائیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They said: "We only wish to eat thereof and satisfy our hearts, and to know that thou hast indeed told us the truth; and that we ourselves may be witnesses to the miracle."

[4:114] | La khayra fee katheerin min najwahumilla man amara bisadaqatin aw maAAroofin aw islahinbayna alnnasi waman yafAAal thalika ibtighaamardati Allahi fasawfa nu/teehi ajran AAatheeman | لا خير في كثير من نجواهم إلا من أمر بصدقة أو معروف أو إصلاح بين الناس ومن يفعل ذلك ابتغاء مرضات الله فسوف نؤتيه أجرا عظيما لاَّ خَيْرَ فِي كَثِيرٍ مِّن نَّجْوَاهُمْ إِلاَّ مَنْ أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ أَوْ مَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ إِصْلاَحٍ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللّهِ فَسَوْفَ نُؤْتِيهِ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | ان کے اکثر خفیہ مشوروں میں کوئی بھلائی نہیں سوائے اس شخص (کے مشورے) کے جو کسی خیرات کا یا نیک کام کا یا لوگوں میں صلح کرانے کا حکم دیتا ہے اور جو کوئی یہ کام اللہ کی رضا جوئی کے لئے کرے تو ہم اس کو عنقریب عظیم اجر عطا کریں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | In most of their secret talks there is no good: But if one exhorts to a deed of charity or justice or conciliation between men, (Secrecy is permissible): To him who does this, seeking the good pleasure of Allah, We shall soon give a reward of the highest (value).

[4:122] | Waallatheena amanoowaAAamiloo alssalihati sanudkhiluhum jannatintajree min tahtiha al-anharu khalideenafeeha abadan waAAda Allahi haqqan waman asdaqumina Allahi qeelan | والذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات سندخلهم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها أبدا وعد الله حقا ومن أصدق من الله قيلا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ سَنُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا وَعْدَ اللّهِ حَقًّا وَمَنْ أَصْدَقُ مِنَ اللّهِ قِيلاً | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کرتے رہے ہم انہیں عنقریب بہشتوں میں داخل کریں گے جن کے نیچے نہریں بہہ رہی ہوں گی وہ ان میں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے۔ (یہ) اللہ کا سچا وعدہ ہے، اور اللہ سے زیادہ بات کا سچا کون ہوسکتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But those who believe and do deeds of righteousness,- we shall soon admit them to gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,-to dwell therein for ever. Allah's promise is the truth, and whose word can be truer than Allah's?

[5:45] | Wakatabna AAalayhim feeha annaalnnafsa bialnnafsi waalAAayna bialAAayniwaal-anfa bial-anfi waalothuna bialothuniwaalssinna bialssinni waaljurooha qisasunfaman tasaddaqa bihi fahuwa kaffaratun lahu wamanlam yahkum bima anzala Allahu faola-ikahumu alththalimoona | وكتبنا عليهم فيها أن النفس بالنفس والعين بالعين والأنف بالأنف والأذن بالأذن والسن بالسن والجروح قصاص فمن تصدق به فهو كفارة له ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فأولئك هم الظالمون وَكَتَبْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ فِيهَا أَنَّ النَّفْسَ بِالنَّفْسِ وَالْعَيْنَ بِالْعَيْنِ وَالْأَنفَ بِالْأَنفِ وَالْأُذُنَ بِالْأُذُنِ وَالسِّنَّ بِالسِّنِّ وَالْجُرُوحَ قِصَاصٌ فَمَن تَصَدَّقَ بِهِ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٌ لَّهُ وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللّهُ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم نے اس (تورات) میں ان پر فرض کردیا تھا کہ جان کے بدلے جان اور آنکھ کے عوض آنکھ اور ناک کے بدلے ناک اور کان کے عوض کان اور دانت کے بدلے دانت اور زخموں میں (بھی) بدلہ ہے، تو جو شخص اس (قصاص) کو صدقہ (یعنی معاف) کر دے تو یہ اس (کے گناہوں) کے لئے کفارہ ہوگا، اور جو شخص اللہ کے نازل کردہ حکم کے مطابق فیصلہ (و حکومت) نہ کرے سو وہی لوگ ظالم ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | We ordained therein for them: "Life for life, eye for eye, nose or nose, ear for ear, tooth for tooth, and wounds equal for equal." But if any one remits the retaliation by way of charity, it is an act of atonement for himself. And if any fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (No better than) wrong-doers.

[5:46] | Waqaffayna AAala atharihimbiAAeesa ibni maryama musaddiqan lima baynayadayhi mina alttawrati waataynahual-injeela feehi hudan wanoorun wamusaddiqan limabayna yadayhi mina alttawrati wahudan wamawAAithatanlilmuttaqeena | وقفينا على آثارهم بعيسى ابن مريم مصدقا لما بين يديه من التوراة وآتيناه الإنجيل فيه هدى ونور ومصدقا لما بين يديه من التوراة وهدى وموعظة للمتقين وَقَفَّيْنَا عَلَى آثَارِهِم بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْإِنجِيلَ فِيهِ هُدًى وَنُورٌ وَمُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَهُدًى وَمَوْعِظَةً لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم نے ان (پیغمبروں) کے پیچھے ان (ہی) کے نقوشِ قدم پر عیسٰی ابن مریم (علیھما السلام) کو بھیجا جو اپنے سے پہلے کی (کتاب) تورات کی تصدیق کرنے والے تھے اور ہم نے ان کو انجیل عطا کی جس میں ہدایت اور نور تھا اور (یہ انجیل بھی) اپنے سے پہلے کی (کتاب) تورات کی تصدیق کرنے والی (تھی) اور (سراسر) ہدایت تھی اور پرہیز گاروں کے لئے نصیحت تھی | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light, and confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear Allah.

[5:48] | Waanzalna ilayka alkitaba bialhaqqimusaddiqan lima bayna yadayhi mina alkitabiwamuhayminan AAalayhi faohkum baynahum bimaanzala Allahu wala tattabiAA ahwaahum AAammajaaka mina alhaqqi likullin jaAAalna minkumshirAAatan waminhajan walaw shaa AllahulajaAAalakum ommatan wahidatan walakin liyabluwakumfeema atakum faistabiqoo alkhayratiila Allahi marjiAAukum jameeAAan fayunabbi-okum bimakuntum feehi takhtalifoona | وأنزلنا إليك الكتاب بالحق مصدقا لما بين يديه من الكتاب ومهيمنا عليه فاحكم بينهم بما أنزل الله ولا تتبع أهواءهم عما جاءك من الحق لكل جعلنا منكم شرعة ومنهاجا ولو شاء الله لجعلكم أمة واحدة ولكن ليبلوكم في ما آتاكم فاستبقوا الخيرات إلى الله مرجعكم جميعا فينبئكم بما كنتم فيه تختلفون وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَمُهَيْمِنًا عَلَيْهِ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ عَمَّا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ لِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنَا مِنكُمْ شِرْعَةً وَمِنْهَاجًا وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَـكِن لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَآ آتَاكُم فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ إِلَى اللهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (اے نبئ مکرّم!) ہم نے آپ کی طرف (بھی) سچائی کے ساتھ کتاب نازل فرمائی ہے جو اپنے سے پہلے کی کتاب کی تصدیق کرنے والی ہے اور اس (کے اصل احکام و مضامین) پر نگہبان ہے، پس آپ ان کے درمیان ان (احکام) کے مطابق فیصلہ فرمائیں جو اﷲ نے نازل فرمائے ہیں اور آپ ان کی خواہشات کی پیروی نہ کریں، اس حق سے دور ہو کر جو آپ کے پاس آچکا ہے۔ ہم نے تم میں سے ہر ایک کے لئے الگ شریعت اور کشادہ راہِ عمل بنائی ہے، اور اگر اﷲ چاہتا تو تم سب کو (ایک شریعت پر متفق) ایک ہی امّت بنا دیتا لیکن وہ تمہیں ان (الگ الگ احکام) میں آزمانا چاہتا ہے جو اس نے تمہیں (تمہارے حسبِ حال) دیئے ہیں، سو تم نیکیوں میں جلدی کرو۔ اﷲ ہی کی طرف تم سب کو پلٹنا ہے، پھر وہ تمہیں ان (سب باتوں میں حق و باطل) سے آگاہ فرمادے گا جن میں تم اختلاف کرتے رہتے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | To thee We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety: so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that hath come to thee. To each among you have we prescribed a law and an open way. If Allah had so willed, He would have made you a single people, but (His plan is) to test you in what He hath given you: so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute;

[6:40] | Qul araaytakum in atakum AAathabuAllahi aw atatkumu alssaAAatu aghayra AllahitadAAoona in kuntum sadiqeena | قل أرأيتكم إن أتاكم عذاب الله أو أتتكم الساعة أغير الله تدعون إن كنتم صادقين قُلْ أَرَأَيْتَكُم إِنْ أَتَاكُمْ عَذَابُ اللّهِ أَوْ أَتَتْكُمُ السَّاعَةُ أَغَيْرَ اللّهِ تَدْعُونَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | آپ (ان کافروں سے) فرمائیے: ذرا یہ تو بتاؤ اگر تم پر اﷲ کا عذاب آجائے یا تم پر قیامت آپہنچے تو کیا (اس وقت عذاب سے بچنے کے لیے) اﷲ کے سوا کسی اور کو پکارو گے؟ (بتاؤ) اگر تم سچے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "Think ye to yourselves, if there come upon you the wrath of Allah, or the Hour (that ye dread), would ye then call upon other than Allah?- (reply) if ye are truthful!

| 9. [6:115] | Watammat kalimatu rabbika sidqanwaAAadlan la mubaddila likalimatihi wahuwa alssameeAAualAAaleemu | وتمت كلمت ربك صدقا وعدلا لا مبدل لكلماته وهو السميع العليم وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ صِدْقًا وَعَدْلاً لاَّ مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِهِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور آپ کے رب کی بات سچائی اور عدل کی رُو سے پوری ہو چکی، اس کی باتوں کو کوئی بدلنے والا نہیں، اور وہ خوب سننے والا خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfilment in truth and in justice: None can change His words: for He is the one who heareth and knoweth all.

[5:75] | Ma almaseehu ibnu maryama illarasoolun qad khalat min qablihi alrrusulu waommuhu siddeeqatunkana ya/kulani alttaAAamaonthur kayfa nubayyinu lahumu al-ayatithumma onthur anna yu/fakoona | ما المسيح ابن مريم إلا رسول قد خلت من قبله الرسل وأمه صديقة كانا يأكلان الطعام انظر كيف نبين لهم الآيات ثم انظر أنى يؤفكون مَّا الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ إِلاَّ رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ وَأُمُّهُ صِدِّيقَةٌ كَانَا يَأْكُلاَنِ الطَّعَامَ انظُرْ كَيْفَ نُبَيِّنُ لَهُمُ الْآيَاتِ ثُمَّ انظُرْ أَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | مسیح ابنِ مریم (علیھما السلام) رسول کے سوا (کچھ) نہیں ہیں (یعنی خدا یا خدا کا بیٹا اور شریک نہیں ہیں)، یقیناً ان سے پہلے (بھی) بہت سے رسول گزر چکے ہیں، اور ان کی والدہ بڑی صاحبِ صدق (ولیّہ) تھیں، وہ دونوں (مخلوق تھے کیونکہ) کھانا بھی کھایا کرتے تھے۔ (اے حبیب!) دیکھئے ہم ان (کی رہنمائی) کے لئے کس طرح آیتوں کو وضاحت سے بیان کرتے ہیں پھر ملاحظہ فرمائیے کہ (اس کے باوجود) وہ کس طرح (حق سے) پھرے جارہے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Christ the son of Mary was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!

[5:119] | Qala Allahu hathayawmu yanfaAAu alssadiqeena sidquhum lahumjannatun tajree min tahtiha al-anharukhalideena feeha abadan radiya AllahuAAanhum waradoo AAanhu thalika alfawzu alAAatheemu | قال الله هذا يوم ينفع الصادقين صدقهم لهم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها أبدا رضي الله عنهم ورضوا عنه ذلك الفوز العظيم قَالَ اللّهُ هَذَا يَوْمُ يَنفَعُ الصَّادِقِينَ صِدْقُهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا رَّضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُواْ عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اللہ فرمائے گا: یہ ایسا دن ہے (جس میں) سچے لوگوں کو ان کا سچ فائدہ دے گا، ان کے لئے جنتیں ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہیں، وہ ان میں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں۔ اﷲ ان سے راضی ہوگیا اور وہ اس سے راضی ہوگئے، یہی (رضائے الٰہی) سب سے بڑی کامیابی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Allah will say: "This is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal Home: Allah well-pleased with them, and they with Allah: That is the great salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires).

[6:92] | Wahatha kitabun anzalnahumubarakun musaddiqu allathee bayna yadayhiwalitunthira omma alqura waman hawlahawaallatheena yu/minoona bial-akhiratiyu/minoona bihi wahum AAala salatihim yuhafithoona | وهذا كتاب أنزلناه مبارك مصدق الذي بين يديه ولتنذر أم القرى ومن حولها والذين يؤمنون بالآخرة يؤمنون به وهم على صلاتهم يحافظون وَهَـذَا كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ مُبَارَكٌ مُّصَدِّقُ الَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلِتُنذِرَ أُمَّ الْقُرَى وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَهُمْ عَلَى صَلاَتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یہ (وہ) کتاب ہے جسے ہم نے نازل فرمایا ہے، بابرکت ہے، جو کتابیں اس سے پہلے تھیں ان کی (اصلاً) تصدیق کرنے والی ہے۔ اور (یہ) اس لئے (نازل کی گئی ہے) کہ آپ (اولاً) سب (انسانی) بستیوں کے مرکز (مکّہ) والوں کو اور (ثانیاً ساری دنیا میں) اس کے ارد گرد والوں کو ڈر سنائیں، اور جو لوگ آخرت پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں اس پر وہی ایمان لاتے ہیں اور وہی لوگ اپنی نماز کی پوری حفاظت کرتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And this is a Book which We have sent down, bringing blessings, and confirming (the revelations) which came before it: that thou mayest warn the mother of cities and all around her. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in this (Book), and they are constant in guarding their prayers.

[6:143] | Thamaniyata azwajin mina aldda/niithnayni wamina almaAAzi ithnayni qul alththakarayniharrama ami alonthayayni amma ishtamalat AAalayhiarhamu alonthayayni nabbi-oonee biAAilmin in kuntum sadiqeena | ثمانية أزواج من الضأن اثنين ومن المعز اثنين قل آلذكرين حرم أم الأنثيين أما اشتملت عليه أرحام الأنثيين نبئوني بعلم إن كنتم صادقين ثَمَانِيَةَ أَزْوَاجٍ مِّنَ الضَّأْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْمَعْزِ اثْنَيْنِ قُلْ آلذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ نَبِّؤُونِي بِعِلْمٍ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (اﷲ نے) آٹھ جوڑے پیدا کئے دو (نر و مادہ) بھیڑ سے اور دو (نر و مادہ) بکری سے۔ (آپ ان سے) فرما دیجئے: کیا اس نے دونوں نر حرام کئے ہیں یا دونوں مادہ یا وہ (بچہ) جو دونوں ماداؤں کے رحموں میں موجود ہے؟ مجھے علم و دانش کے ساتھ بتاؤ اگر تم سچے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Take) eight (head of cattle) in (four) pairs: of sheep a pair, and of goats a pair; say, hath He forbidden the two males, or the two females, or (the young) which the wombs of the two females enclose? Tell me with knowledge if ye are truthful:

[6:146] | WaAAala allatheena hadooharramna kulla thee thufurinwamina albaqari waalghanami harramnaAAalayhim shuhoomahuma illa ma hamalatthuhooruhuma awi alhawayaaw ma ikhtalata biAAathmin thalikajazaynahum bibaghyihim wa-inna lasadiqoona | وعلى الذين هادوا حرمنا كل ذي ظفر ومن البقر والغنم حرمنا عليهم شحومهما إلا ما حملت ظهورهما أو الحوايا أو ما اختلط بعظم ذلك جزيناهم ببغيهم وإنا لصادقون وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ هَادُواْ حَرَّمْنَا كُلَّ ذِي ظُفُرٍ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ وَالْغَنَمِ حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ شُحُومَهُمَا إِلاَّ مَا حَمَلَتْ ظُهُورُهُمَا أَوِ الْحَوَايَا أَوْ مَا اخْتَلَطَ بِعَظْمٍ ذَلِكَ جَزَيْنَاهُم بِبَغْيِهِمْ وِإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یہودیوں پر ہم نے ہر ناخن والا (جانور) حرام کر دیا تھا اور گائے اور بکری میں سے ہم نے ان پر دونوں کی چربی حرام کر دی تھی سوائے اس (چربی) کے جو دونوں کی پیٹھ میں ہو یا اوجھڑی میں لگی ہو یا جو ہڈی کے ساتھ ملی ہو۔ یہ ہم نے ان کی سرکشی کے باعث انہیں سزا دی تھی اور یقینا ہم سچے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | For those who followed the Jewish Law, We forbade every (animal) with undivided hoof, and We forbade them that fat of the ox and the sheep, except what adheres to their backs or their entrails, or is mixed up with a bone: this in recompense for their wilful disobedience: for We are true (in Our ordinances).

[7:70] | Qaloo aji/tana linaAAbuda Allahawahdahu wanathara ma kana yaAAbudu abaonafa/tina bima taAAiduna in kunta mina alssadiqeena | قالوا أجئتنا لنعبد الله وحده ونذر ما كان يعبد آباؤنا فأتنا بما تعدنا إن كنت من الصادقين قَالُواْ أَجِئْتَنَا لِنَعْبُدَ اللّهَ وَحْدَهُ وَنَذَرَ مَا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَا إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ کہنے لگے: کیا تم ہمارے پاس (اس لئے) آئے ہو کہ ہم صرف ایک اﷲ کی عبادت کریں اور ان (سب خداؤں) کو چھوڑ دیں جن کی پرستش ہمارے باپ دادا کیا کرتے تھے؟ سو تم ہمارے پاس وہ (عذاب) لے آؤ جس کی تم ہمیں وعید سناتے ہو اگر تم سچے لوگوں میں سے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They said: "Comest thou to us, that we may worship Allah alone, and give up the cult of our fathers? bring us what thou threatenest us with, if so be that thou tellest the truth!"

| Tahir ul Qadri | اس (فرعون) نے کہا: اگر تم کوئی نشانی لائے ہو تو اسے (سامنے) لاؤ اگر تم سچے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Pharaoh) said: "If indeed thou hast come with a Sign, show it forth,- if thou tellest the truth."

[7:194] | Inna allatheena tadAAoona min dooniAllahi AAibadun amthalukum faodAAoohumfalyastajeeboo lakum in kuntum sadiqeena | إن الذين تدعون من دون الله عباد أمثالكم فادعوهم فليستجيبوا لكم إن كنتم صادقين إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ عِبَادٌ أَمْثَالُكُمْ فَادْعُوهُمْ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُواْ لَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک جن (بتوں) کی تم اللہ کے سوا عبادت کرتے ہو وہ بھی تمہاری ہی طرح (اللہ کے) مملوک ہیں، پھر جب تم انہیں پکارو تو انہیں چاہئے کہ تمہیں جواب دیں اگر تم (انہیں معبود بنانے میں) سچے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Verily those whom ye call upon besides Allah are servants like unto you: Call upon them, and let them listen to your prayer, if ye are (indeed) truthful!

[9:43] | AAafa Allahu AAanka lima athintalahum hatta yatabayyana laka allatheena sadaqoowataAAlama alkathibeena | عفا الله عنك لم أذنت لهم حتى يتبين لك الذين صدقوا وتعلم الكاذبين عَفَا اللّهُ عَنكَ لِمَ أَذِنتَ لَهُمْ حَتَّى يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكَ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُواْ وَتَعْلَمَ الْكَاذِبِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اللہ آپ کو سلامت (اور باعزت و عافیت) رکھے، آپ نے انہیں رخصت (ہی) کیوں دی (کہ وہ شریکِ جنگ نہ ہوں) یہاں تک کہ وہ لوگ (بھی) آپ کے لئے ظاہر ہو جاتے جو سچ بول رہے تھے اور آپ جھوٹ بولنے والوں کو (بھی) معلوم فرما لیتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Allah give thee grace! why didst thou grant them until those who told the truth were seen by thee in a clear light, and thou hadst proved the liars?

[9:58] | Waminhum man yalmizuka fee alssadaqatifa-in oAAtoo minha radoo wa-in lam yuAAtawminha itha hum yaskhatoona | ومنهم من يلمزك في الصدقات فإن أعطوا منها رضوا وإن لم يعطوا منها إذا هم يسخطون وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَلْمِزُكَ فِي الصَّدَقَاتِ فَإِنْ أُعْطُواْ مِنْهَا رَضُواْ وَإِن لَّمْ يُعْطَوْاْ مِنهَا إِذَا هُمْ يَسْخَطُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ان ہی میں سے بعض ایسے ہیں جو صدقات (کی تقسیم) میں آپ پر طعنہ زنی کرتے ہیں، پھر اگر انہیں ان (صدقات) میں سے کچھ دے دیا جائے تو وہ راضی ہو جائیں اور اگر انہیں اس میں سے کچھ نہ دیا جائے تو وہ فوراً خفا ہو جاتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And among them are men who slander thee in the matter of (the distribution of) the alms: if they are given part thereof, they are pleased, but if not, behold! they are indignant!

[9:60] | Innama alssadaqatulilfuqara-i waalmasakeeni waalAAamileenaAAalayha waalmu-allafati quloobuhum wafee alrriqabiwaalgharimeena wafee sabeeli Allahi waibnialssabeeli fareedatan mina Allahi waAllahuAAaleemun hakeemun | إنما الصدقات للفقراء والمساكين والعاملين عليها والمؤلفة قلوبهم وفي الرقاب والغارمين وفي سبيل الله وابن السبيل فريضة من الله والله عليم حكيم إِنَّمَا الصَّدَقَاتُ لِلْفُقَرَاءِ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَالْعَامِلِينَ عَلَيْهَا وَالْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَفِي الرِّقَابِ وَالْغَارِمِينَ وَفِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ فَرِيضَةً مِّنَ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک صدقات (زکوٰۃ) محض غریبوں اور محتاجوں اور ان کی وصولی پر مقرر کئے گئے کارکنوں اور ایسے لوگوں کے لئے ہیں جن کے دلوں میں اسلام کی الفت پیدا کرنا مقصود ہو اور (مزید یہ کہ) انسانی گردنوں کو (غلامی کی زندگی سے) آزاد کرانے میں اور قرض داروں کے بوجھ اتارنے میں اور اللہ کی راہ میں (جہاد کرنے والوں پر) اور مسافروں پر (زکوٰۃ کا خرچ کیا جانا حق ہے)۔ یہ (سب) اللہ کی طرف سے فرض کیا گیا ہے، اور اللہ خوب جاننے والا بڑی حکمت والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Alms are for the poor and the needy, and those employed to administer the (funds); for those whose hearts have been (recently) reconciled (to Truth); for those in bondage and in debt; in the cause of Allah; and for the wayfarer: (thus is it) ordained by Allah, and Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ان (منافقوں) میں (بعض) وہ بھی ہیں جنہوں نے اللہ سے عہد کیا تھا کہ اگر اس نے ہمیں اپنے فضل سے (دولت) عطا فرمائی تو ہم ضرور (اس کی ر اہ میں) خیرات کریں گے اور ہم ضرور نیکو کاروں میں سے ہو جائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Amongst them are men who made a covenant with Allah, that if He bestowed on them of His bounty, they would give (largely) in charity, and be truly amongst those who are righteous.

[9:79] | Allatheena yalmizoona almuttawwiAAeenamina almu/mineena fee alssadaqati waallatheenala yajidoona illa juhdahum fayaskharoona minhumsakhira Allahu minhum walahum AAathabun aleemun | الذين يلمزون المطوعين من المؤمنين في الصدقات والذين لا يجدون إلا جهدهم فيسخرون منهم سخر الله منهم ولهم عذاب أليم الَّذِينَ يَلْمِزُونَ الْمُطَّوِّعِينَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي الصَّدَقَاتِ وَالَّذِينَ لاَ يَجِدُونَ إِلاَّ جُهْدَهُمْ فَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنْهُمْ سَخِرَ اللّهُ مِنْهُمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جو لوگ برضا و رغبت خیرات دینے والے مومنوں پر (ان کے) صدقات میں (ریاکاری و مجبوری کا) الزام لگاتے ہیں اور ان (نادار مسلمانوں) پر بھی (عیب لگاتے ہیں) جو اپنی محنت و مشقت کے سوا (کچھ زیادہ مقدور) نہیں پاتے سو یہ (ان کے جذبۂ اِنفاق کا بھی) مذاق اڑاتے ہیں، اللہ انہیں ان کے تمسخر کی سزا دے گا اور ان کے لئے دردناک عذاب ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those who slander such of the believers as give themselves freely to (deeds of) charity, as well as such as can find nothing to give except the fruits of their labour,- and throw ridicule on them,- Allah will throw back their ridicule on them: and they shall have a grievous penalty.

[9:103] | Khuth min amwalihim sadaqatantutahhiruhum watuzakkeehim biha wasalliAAalayhim inna salataka sakanun lahum waAllahusameeAAun AAaleemun | خذ من أموالهم صدقة تطهرهم وتزكيهم بها وصل عليهم إن صلاتك سكن لهم والله سميع عليم خُذْ مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ صَدَقَةً تُطَهِّرُهُمْ وَتُزَكِّيهِم بِهَا وَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّ صَلاَتَكَ سَكَنٌ لَّهُمْ وَاللّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | آپ ان کے اموال میں سے صدقہ (زکوٰۃ) وصول کیجئے کہ آپ اس (صدقہ) کے باعث انہیں (گناہوں سے) پاک فرما دیں اور انہیں (ایمان و مال کی پاکیزگی سے) برکت بخش دیں اور ان کے حق میں دعا فرمائیں، بیشک آپ کی دعا ان کے لئے (باعثِ) تسکین ہے، اور اﷲ خوب سننے والا خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Of their goods, take alms, that so thou mightest purify and sanctify them; and pray on their behalf. Verily thy prayers are a source of security for them: And Allah is One Who heareth and knoweth.

[9:104] | Alam yaAAlamoo anna Allaha huwayaqbalu alttawbata AAan AAibadihi waya/khuthualssadaqati waanna Allaha huwa alttawwabualrraheemu | ألم يعلموا أن الله هو يقبل التوبة عن عباده ويأخذ الصدقات وأن الله هو التواب الرحيم أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ هُوَ يَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَأْخُذُ الصَّدَقَاتِ وَأَنَّ اللّهَ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا وہ نہیں جانتے کہ بیشک اﷲ ہی تو اپنے بندوں سے (ان کی) توبہ قبول فرماتا ہے اور صدقات (یعنی زکوٰۃ و خیرات اپنے دستِ قدرت سے) وصول فرماتا ہے اور یہ کہ اﷲ ہی بڑا توبہ قبول فرمانے والا نہایت مہربان ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Know they not that Allah doth accept repentance from His votaries and receives their gifts of charity, and that Allah is verily He, the Oft-Returning, Most Merciful?

| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ایمان والو! اﷲ سے ڈرتے رہو اور اہلِ صدق (کی معیت) میں شامل رہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O ye who believe! Fear Allah and be with those who are true (in word and deed).

[10:2] | Akana lilnnasi AAajabanan awhayna ila rajulin minhum an anthirialnnasa wabashshiri allatheena amanooanna lahum qadama sidqin AAinda rabbihim qala alkafiroonainna hatha lasahirun mubeenun | أكان للناس عجبا أن أوحينا إلى رجل منهم أن أنذر الناس وبشر الذين آمنوا أن لهم قدم صدق عند ربهم قال الكافرون إن هذا لساحر مبين أَكَانَ لِلنَّاسِ عَجَبًا أَنْ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِّنْهُمْ أَنْ أَنذِرِ النَّاسَ وَبَشِّرِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَنَّ لَهُمْ قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ قَالَ الْكَافِرُونَ إِنَّ هَـذَا لَسَاحِرٌ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا یہ بات لوگوں کے لئے تعجب خیز ہے کہ ہم نے انہی میں سے ایک مردِ (کامل) کی طرف وحی بھیجی کہ آپ (بھولے بھٹکے ہوئے) لوگوں کو (عذابِ الٰہی کا) ڈر سنائیں اور ایمان والوں کو خوشخبری سنائیں کہ ان کے لئے ان کے رب کی بارگاہ میں بلند پایہ (یعنی اونچا مرتبہ) ہے، کافر کہنے لگے: بیشک یہ شخص تو کھلا جادوگر ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Is it a matter of wonderment to men that We have sent Our inspiration to a man from among themselves?- that he should warn mankind (of their danger), and give the good news to the Believers that they have before their Lord the lofty rank of truth. (But) say the Unbelievers: "This is indeed an evident sorcerer!"

[10:38] | Am yaqooloona iftarahu qul fa/toobisooratin mithlihi waodAAoo mani istataAAtum mindooni Allahi in kuntum sadiqeena | أم يقولون افتراه قل فأتوا بسورة مثله وادعوا من استطعتم من دون الله إن كنتم صادقين أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ قُلْ فَأْتُواْ بِسُورَةٍ مِّثْلِهِ وَادْعُواْ مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اسے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے خود گھڑ لیا ہے، آپ فرما دیجئے: پھر تم اس کی مثل کوئی (ایک) سورت لے آؤ (اور اپنی مدد کے لئے) اللہ کے سوا جنہیں تم بلاسکتے ہو بلا لو اگر تم سچے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Or do they say, "He forged it"? say: "Bring then a Sura like unto it, and call (to your aid) anyone you can besides Allah, if it be ye speak the truth!"

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور وہ (طعنہ زنی کے طور پر) کہتے ہیں کہ یہ وعدۂ (عذاب) کب (پورا) ہوگا (مسلمانو! بتاؤ) اگر تم سچے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They say: "When will this promise come to pass,- if ye speak the truth?"

[11:13] | Am yaqooloona iftarahu qul fa/toobiAAashri suwarin mithlihi muftarayatin waodAAoomani istataAAtum min dooni Allahi in kuntum sadiqeena | أم يقولون افتراه قل فأتوا بعشر سور مثله مفتريات وادعوا من استطعتم من دون الله إن كنتم صادقين أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ قُلْ فَأْتُواْ بِعَشْرِ سُوَرٍ مِّثْلِهِ مُفْتَرَيَاتٍ وَادْعُواْ مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا کفار یہ کہتے ہیں کہ پیغمبر نے اس (قرآن) کو خود گھڑ لیا ہے، فرما دیجئے: تم (بھی) اس جیسی گھڑی ہوئی دس سورتیں لے آؤ اور اﷲ کے سوا (اپنی مدد کے لئے) جسے بھی بلا سکتے ہو بلا لو اگر تم سچے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Or they may say, "He forged it," Say, "Bring ye then ten suras forged, like unto it, and call (to your aid) whomsoever ye can, other than Allah!- If ye speak the truth!

[10:37] | Wama kana hatha alqur-anuan yuftara min dooni Allahi walakin tasdeeqaallathee bayna yadayhi watafseela alkitabi larayba feehi min rabbi alAAalameena | وما كان هذا القرآن أن يفترى من دون الله ولكن تصديق الذي بين يديه وتفصيل الكتاب لا ريب فيه من رب العالمين وَمَا كَانَ هَـذَا الْقُرْآنُ أَن يُفْتَرَى مِن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلَـكِن تَصْدِيقَ الَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَتَفْصِيلَ الْكِتَابِ لاَ رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
