| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [12:88] | Falamma dakhaloo AAalayhi qalooya ayyuha alAAazeezu massana waahlanaalddurru waji/na bibidaAAatin muzjatinfaawfi lana alkayla watasaddaq AAalayna innaAllaha yajzee almutasaddiqeena |  فلما دخلوا عليه قالوا يا أيها العزيز مسنا وأهلنا الضر وجئنا ببضاعة مزجاة فأوف لنا الكيل وتصدق علينا إن الله يجزي المتصدقينفَلَمَّا دَخَلُواْ عَلَيْهِ قَالُواْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْعَزِيزُ مَسَّنَا وَأَهْلَنَا الضُّرُّ وَجِئْنَا بِبِضَاعَةٍ مُّزْجَاةٍ فَأَوْفِ لَنَا الْكَيْلَ وَتَصَدَّقْ عَلَيْنَآ إِنَّ اللّهَ يَجْزِي الْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | سو جب وہ (دوبارہ) یوسف (علیہ السلام) کے پاس حاضر ہوئے تو کہنے لگے: اے عزیزِ مصر! ہم پر اور ہمارے گھر والوں پر مصیبت آن پڑی ہے (ہم شدید قحط میں مبتلا ہیں) اور ہم (یہ) تھوڑی سی رقم لے کر آئے ہیں سو (اس کے بدلے) ہمیں (غلہ کا) پورا پورا ناپ دے دیں اور (اس کے علاوہ) ہم پر (کچھ) صدقہ (بھی) کر دیں۔ بیشک اﷲ خیرات کرنے والوں کو جزا دیتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Then, when they came (back) into (Joseph's) presence they said: "O exalted one! distress has seized us and our family: we have (now) brought but scanty capital: so pay us full measure, (we pray thee), and treat it as charity to us: for Allah doth reward the charitable."

| 2. [12:92] | Qala la tathreeba AAalaykumualyawma yaghfiru Allahu lakum wahuwa arhamu alrrahimeena | قال لا تثريب عليكم اليوم يغفر الله لكم وهو أرحم الراحمين قَالَ لاَ تَثْرِيبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ يَغْفِرُ اللّهُ لَكُمْ وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یوسف (علیہ السلام) نے فرمایا: آج کے دن تم پر کوئی ملامت (اور گرفت) نہیں ہے، اﷲ تمہیں معاف فرما دے اور وہ سب مہربانوں سے زیادہ مہربان ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He said: "This day let no reproach be (cast) on you: Allah will forgive you, and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy!

[12:90] | Qaloo a-innaka laanta yoosufa qalaana yoosufu wahatha akhee qad manna AllahuAAalayna innahu man yattaqi wayasbir fa-inna Allahala yudeeAAu ajra almuhsineena | قالوا أإنك لأنت يوسف قال أنا يوسف وهذا أخي قد من الله علينا إنه من يتق ويصبر فإن الله لا يضيع أجر المحسنين قَالُواْ أَإِنَّكَ لَأَنتَ يُوسُفُ قَالَ أَنَاْ يُوسُفُ وَهَـذَا أَخِي قَدْ مَنَّ اللّهُ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّهُ مَن يَتَّقِ وَيَصْبِرْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ بولے: کیا واقعی تم ہی یوسف ہو؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: (ہاں) میں یوسف ہوں اور یہ میرا بھائی ہے بیشک اﷲ نے ہم پر احسان فرمایا ہے، یقیناً جو شخص اﷲ سے ڈرتا اور صبر کرتا ہے تو بیشک اﷲ نیکوکاروں کا اجر ضائع نہیں کرتا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They said: "Art thou indeed Joseph?" He said, "I am Joseph, and this is my brother: Allah has indeed been gracious to us (all): behold, he that is righteous and patient,- never will Allah suffer the reward to be lost, of those who do right."

| Words | |قالوا - They said,| أإنك - "Are you indeed,| لأنت - surely you,| يوسف - Yusuf?"| قال - He said,| أنا - "I am| يوسف - Yusuf| وهذا - and this| أخي - (is) my brother.| قد - Indeed,| من - Allah has been gracious| الله - Allah has been gracious| علينا - to us.| إنه - Indeed, he| من - who| يتق - fears Allah| ويصبر - and (is) patient,| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يضيع - let go waste| أجر - (the) reward| المحسنين - (of) the good-doers."| | ||||||

[12:93] | Ithhaboo biqameesee hathafaalqoohu AAala wajhi abee ya/ti baseeran wa/tooneebi-ahlikum ajmaAAeena | اذهبوا بقميصي هذا فألقوه على وجه أبي يأت بصيرا وأتوني بأهلكم أجمعين اذْهَبُواْ بِقَمِيصِي هَـذَا فَأَلْقُوهُ عَلَى وَجْهِ أَبِي يَأْتِ بَصِيرًا وَأْتُونِي بِأَهْلِكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | میرا یہ قمیض لے جاؤ، سو اسے میرے باپ کے چہرے پر ڈال دینا، وہ بینا ہو جائیں گے، اور (پھر) اپنے سب گھر والوں کو میرے پاس لے آؤ | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Go with this my shirt, and cast it over the face of my father: he will come to see (clearly). Then come ye (here) to me together with all your family."

| 5. [12:94] | Walamma fasalati alAAeeru qalaaboohum innee laajidu reeha yoosufa lawla antufannidooni | ولما فصلت العير قال أبوهم إني لأجد ريح يوسف لولا أن تفندون وَلَمَّا فَصَلَتِ الْعِيرُ قَالَ أَبُوهُمْ إِنِّي لَأَجِدُ رِيحَ يُوسُفَ لَوْلاَ أَن تُفَنِّدُونِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جب قافلہ (مصر سے) روانہ ہوا ان کے والد (یعقوب علیہ السلام) نے (کنعان میں بیٹھے ہی) فرما دیا: بیشک میں یوسف کی خوشبو پا رہا ہوں اگر تم مجھے بڑھاپے کے باعث بہکا ہوا خیال نہ کرو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | When the caravan left (Egypt), their father said: "I do indeed scent the presence of Joseph: Nay, think me not a dotard."

| Words | |ولما - And when| فصلت - departed| العير - the caravan,| قال - their father said,| أبوهم - their father said,| إني - "Indeed, I| لأجد - [I] find| ريح - (the) smell| يوسف - (of) Yusuf,| لولا - if not| أن - that| تفندون - you think me weakened in mind."| | ||||||
| 6. [12:95] | Qaloo taAllahi innakalafee dalalika alqadeemi | قالوا تالله إنك لفي ضلالك القديم قَالُواْ تَاللّهِ إِنَّكَ لَفِي ضَلاَلِكَ الْقَدِيمِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ بولے: اﷲ کی قسم یقیناً آپ اپنی (اسی) پرانی محبت کی خود رفتگی میں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They said: "By Allah! truly thou art in thine old wandering mind."

| Words | |قالوا - They said,| تالله - "By Allah| إنك - indeed, you| لفي - surely (are) in| ضلالك - your error| القديم - old."| | ||||||
| 7. [12:97] | Qaloo ya abanaistaghfir lana thunoobana inna kunnakhati-eena | قالوا يا أبانا استغفر لنا ذنوبنا إنا كنا خاطئين قَالُواْ يَا أَبَانَا اسْتَغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا خَاطِئِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ بولے: اے ہمارے باپ! ہمارے لئے (اﷲ سے) ہمارے گناہوں کی مغفرت طلب کیجئے، بیشک ہم ہی خطاکار تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They said: "O our father! ask for us forgiveness for our sins, for we were truly at fault."

| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| أبانا - "O our father!| استغفر - Ask forgiveness| لنا - for us| ذنوبنا - (of) our sins.| إنا - Indeed, we| كنا - have been| خاطئين - sinners."| | ||||||

[12:96] | Falamma an jaa albasheeru alqahuAAala wajhihi fairtadda baseeran qalaalam aqul lakum innee aAAlamu mina Allahi ma lataAAlamoona | فلما أن جاء البشير ألقاه على وجهه فارتد بصيرا قال ألم أقل لكم إني أعلم من الله ما لا تعلمون فَلَمَّا أَن جَاءَ الْبَشِيرُ أَلْقَاهُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ فَارْتَدَّ بَصِيرًا قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر جب خوشخبری سنانے والا آپہنچا اس نے وہ قمیض یعقوب (علیہ السلام) کے چہرے پر ڈال دیا تو اسی وقت ان کی بینائی لوٹ آئی، یعقوب (علیہ السلام) نے فرمایا: کیا میں تم سے نہیں کہتا تھا کہ بیشک میں اﷲ کی طرف سے وہ کچھ جانتا ہوں جو تم نہیں جانتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Then when the bearer of the good news came, He cast (the shirt) over his face, and he forthwith regained clear sight. He said: "Did I not say to you, 'I know from Allah that which ye know not?'"

| 9. [12:98] | Qala sawfa astaghfiru lakum rabbeeinnahu huwa alghafooru alrraheemu | قال سوف أستغفر لكم ربي إنه هو الغفور الرحيم قَالَ سَوْفَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ لَكُمْ رَبِّيَ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یعقوب (علیہ السلام) نے فرمایا: میں عنقریب تمہارے لئے اپنے رب سے بخشش طلب کروں گا، بیشک وہی بڑا بخشنے والا نہایت مہربان ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He said: "Soon will I ask my Lord for forgiveness for you: for he is indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

| 10. [12:99] | Falamma dakhaloo AAala yoosufaawa ilayhi abawayhi waqala odkhuloo misrain shaa Allahu amineena | فلما دخلوا على يوسف آوى إليه أبويه وقال ادخلوا مصر إن شاء الله آمنين فَلَمَّا دَخَلُواْ عَلَى يُوسُفَ آوَى إِلَيْهِ أَبَوَيْهِ وَقَالَ ادْخُلُواْ مِصْرَ إِن شَاءَ اللّهُ آمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر جب وہ (سب اَفرادِ خانہ) یوسف (علیہ السلام) کے پاس آئے (تو) یوسف (علیہ السلام) نے (شہر سے باہر آکر ہزارہا سواریوں، فوجیوں اور لوگوں کے ہمراہ شاہی جلوس کی صورت میں ان کا استقبال کیا اور) اپنے ماں باپ کو تعظیماً اپنے قریب جگہ دی (یا انہیں اپنے گلے سے لگا لیا) اور (خوش آمدید کہتے ہوئے) فرمایا: آپ مصر میں داخل ہو جائیں اگر اﷲ نے چاہا (تو) امن و عافیت کے ساتھ (یہیں قیام کریں) | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Then when they entered the presence of Joseph, he provided a home for his parents with himself, and said: "Enter ye Egypt (all) in safety if it please Allah."

[12:102] | Thalika min anba-i alghaybinooheehi ilayka wama kunta ladayhim ithajmaAAoo amrahum wahum yamkuroona | ذلك من أنباء الغيب نوحيه إليك وما كنت لديهم إذ أجمعوا أمرهم وهم يمكرون ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَنبَاءِ الْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهِ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا كُنتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ أَجْمَعُواْ أَمْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَمْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (اے حبیبِ مکرّم!) یہ (قصّہ) غیب کی خبروں میں سے ہے جسے ہم آپ کی طرف وحی فرما رہے ہیں، اور آپ (کوئی) ان کے پاس موجود نہ تھے جب وہ (برادرانِ یوسف) اپنی سازشی تدبیر پر جمع ہو رہے تھے اور وہ مکر و فریب کر رہے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Such is one of the stories of what happened unseen, which We reveal by inspiration unto thee; nor wast thou (present) with them then when they concerted their plans together in the process of weaving their plots.

[12:101] | Rabbi qad ataytanee mina almulkiwaAAallamtanee min ta/weeli al-ahadeethi fatira alssamawatiwaal-ardi anta waliyyee fee alddunyawaal-akhirati tawaffanee musliman waalhiqneebialssaliheena | رب قد آتيتني من الملك وعلمتني من تأويل الأحاديث فاطر السماوات والأرض أنت وليي في الدنيا والآخرة توفني مسلما وألحقني بالصالحين رَبِّ قَدْ آتَيْتَنِي مِنَ الْمُلْكِ وَعَلَّمْتَنِي مِن تَأْوِيلِ الْأَحَادِيثِ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَنتَ وَلِيِّي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے میرے رب! بیشک تو نے مجھے سلطنت عطا فرمائی اور تو نے مجھے خوابوں کی تعبیر کے علم سے نوازا، اے آسمانوں اور زمین کے پیدا فرمانے والے! تو دنیا میں (بھی) میرا کارساز ہے اور آخرت میں (بھی)، مجھے حالتِ اسلام پر موت دینا اور مجھے صالح لوگوں کے ساتھ ملا دے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "O my Lord! Thou hast indeed bestowed on me some power, and taught me something of the interpretation of dreams and events,- O Thou Creator of the heavens and the earth! Thou art my Protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Take Thou my soul (at death) as one submitting to Thy will (as a Muslim), and unite me with the righteous."

| 13. [12:103] | Wama aktharu alnnasiwalaw harasta bimu/mineena | وما أكثر الناس ولو حرصت بمؤمنين وَمَا أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ وَلَوْ حَرَصْتَ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اکثر لوگ ایمان لانے والے نہیں ہیں اگرچہ آپ (کتنی ہی) خواہش کریں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Yet no faith will the greater part of mankind have, however ardently thou dost desire it.

| Words | |وما - And not| أكثر - most| الناس - (of) the mankind,| ولو - even though| حرصت - you desire,| بمؤمنين - (will be) believers.| | ||||||
| 14. [12:104] | Wama tas-aluhum AAalayhi min ajrinin huwa illa thikrun lilAAalameena | وما تسألهم عليه من أجر إن هو إلا ذكر للعالمين وَمَا تَسْأَلُهُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِنْ هُوَ إِلاَّ ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور آپ ان سے اس (دعوت و تبلیغ) پر کوئی صلہ تو نہیں مانگتے، یہ قرآن جملہ جہان والوں کے لئے نصیحت ہی تو ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And no reward dost thou ask of them for this: it is no less than a message for all creatures.

| Words | |وما - And not| تسألهم - you ask them| عليه - for it| من - any| أجر - reward.| إن - Not| هو - (is) it| إلا - but| ذكر - a reminder| للعالمين - to the worlds.| | ||||||
| 15. [12:105] | Wakaayyin min ayatin fee alssamawatiwaal-ardi yamurroona AAalayha wahum AAanhamuAAridoona | وكأين من آية في السماوات والأرض يمرون عليها وهم عنها معرضون وَكَأَيِّن مِّن آيَةٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهَا وَهُمْ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور آسمانوں اور زمین میں کتنی ہی نشانیاں ہیں جن پر ان لوگوں کا گزر ہوتا رہتا ہے اور وہ ان سے صرفِ نظر کئے ہوئے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And how many Signs in the heavens and the earth do they pass by? Yet they turn (their faces) away from them!

| Words | |وكأين - And how many| من - of| آية - a Sign| في - in| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| يمرون - they pass| عليها - over it,| وهم - while they| عنها - (are) from them| معرضون - the ones who turn away.| | ||||||
| 16. [12:106] | Wama yu/minu aktharuhum biAllahiilla wahum mushrikoona | وما يؤمن أكثرهم بالله إلا وهم مشركون وَمَا يُؤْمِنُ أَكْثَرُهُمْ بِاللّهِ إِلاَّ وَهُم مُّشْرِكُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ان میں سے اکثر لوگ اﷲ پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے مگر یہ کہ وہ مشرک ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And most of them believe not in Allah without associating (other as partners) with Him!

| Words | |وما - And not| يؤمن - believe| أكثرهم - most of them| بالله - in Allah| إلا - except| وهم - while they| مشركون - associate partners with Him.| | ||||||

[12:107] | Afaaminoo an ta/tiyahum ghashiyatunmin AAathabi Allahi aw ta/tiyahumu alssaAAatubaghtatan wahum la yashAAuroona | أفأمنوا أن تأتيهم غاشية من عذاب الله أو تأتيهم الساعة بغتة وهم لا يشعرون أَفَأَمِنُواْ أَن تَأْتِيَهُمْ غَاشِيَةٌ مِّنْ عَذَابِ اللّهِ أَوْ تَأْتِيَهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لاَ يَشْعُرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا وہ اس بات سے بے خوف ہو گئے ہیں کہ ان پر اﷲ کے عذاب کی چھا جانے والی آفت آجائے یا ان پر اچانک قیامت آجائے اور انہیں خبر بھی نہ ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Do they then feel secure from the coming against them of the covering veil of the wrath of Allah,- or of the coming against them of the (final) Hour all of a sudden while they perceive not?

[12:108] | Qul hathihi sabeelee adAAoo ilaAllahi AAala baseeratin ana wamaniittabaAAanee wasubhana Allahi wama anamina almushrikeena | قل هذه سبيلي أدعو إلى الله على بصيرة أنا ومن اتبعني وسبحان الله وما أنا من المشركين قُلْ هَـذِهِ سَبِيلِي أَدْعُو إِلَى اللّهِ عَلَى بَصِيرَةٍ أَنَاْ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَنِي وَسُبْحَانَ اللّهِ وَمَا أَنَاْ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (اے حبیبِ مکرّم!) فرما دیجئے: یہی میری راہ ہے، میں اﷲ کی طرف بلاتا ہوں، پوری بصیرت پر (قائم) ہوں، میں (بھی) اور وہ شخص بھی جس نے میری اتباع کی، اور اﷲ پاک ہے اور میں مشرکوں میں سے نہیں ہوں | ||||||

[12:109] | Wama arsalna min qablika illarijalan noohee ilayhim min ahli alquraafalam yaseeroo fee al-ardi fayanthurookayfa kana AAaqibatu allatheena min qablihimwaladaru al-akhirati khayrun lillatheenaittaqaw afala taAAqiloona | وما أرسلنا من قبلك إلا رجالا نوحي إليهم من أهل القرى أفلم يسيروا في الأرض فينظروا كيف كان عاقبة الذين من قبلهم ولدار الآخرة خير للذين اتقوا أفلا تعقلون وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ إِلاَّ رِجَالاً نُّوحِي إِلَيْهِم مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْقُرَى أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُواْ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَدَارُ الْآخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ اتَّقَواْ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم نے آپ سے پہلے بھی (مختلف) بستیوں والوں میں سے مَردوں ہی کو بھیجا تھا جن کی طرف ہم وحی فرماتے تھے، کیا ان لوگوں نے زمین میں سیر نہیں کی کہ وہ (خود) دیکھ لیتے کہ ان سے پہلے لوگوں کا انجام کیا ہوا، اور بیشک آخرت کا گھر پرہیزگاری اختیار کرنے والوں کے لئے بہتر ہے، کیا تم عقل نہیں رکھتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Nor did We send before thee (as messengers) any but men, whom we did inspire,- (men) living in human habitations. Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those before them? But the home of the hereafter is best, for those who do right. Will ye not then understand?

[12:110] | Hatta itha istay-asa alrrusuluwathannoo annahum qad kuthiboo jaahumnasruna fanujjiya man nashao walayuraddu ba/suna AAani alqawmi almujrimeena | حتى إذا استيأس الرسل وظنوا أنهم قد كذبوا جاءهم نصرنا فنجي من نشاء ولا يرد بأسنا عن القوم المجرمين حَتَّى إِذَا اسْتَيْأَسَ الرُّسُلُ وَظَنُّواْ أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ كُذِبُواْ جَاءَهُمْ نَصْرُنَا فَنُجِّيَ مَن نَّشَاءُ وَلاَ يُرَدُّ بَأْسُنَا عَنِ الْقَوْمِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یہاں تک کہ جب پیغمبر (اپنی نافرمان قوموں سے) مایوس ہوگئے اور ان منکر قوموں نے گمان کر لیا کہ ان سے جھوٹ بولا گیا ہے (یعنی ان پر کوئی عذاب نہیں آئے گا) تو ان رسولوں کو ہماری مدد آپہنچی پھر ہم نے جسے چاہا (اسے) نجات بخش دی، اور ہمارا عذاب مجرم قوم سے پھیرا نہیں جاتا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Respite will be granted) until, when the messengers give up hope (of their people) and (come to) think that they were treated as liars, there reaches them Our help, and those whom We will are delivered into safety. But never will be warded off our punishment from those who are in sin.

[12:111] | Laqad kana fee qasasihimAAibratun li-olee al-albabi ma kana hadeethanyuftara walakin tasdeeqa allatheebayna yadayhi watafseela kulli shay-in wahudan warahmatanliqawmin yu/minoona | لقد كان في قصصهم عبرة لأولي الألباب ما كان حديثا يفترى ولكن تصديق الذي بين يديه وتفصيل كل شيء وهدى ورحمة لقوم يؤمنون لَقَدْ كَانَ فِي قَصَصِهِمْ عِبْرَةٌ لِّأُوْلِي الْأَلْبَابِ مَا كَانَ حَدِيثًا يُفْتَرَى وَلَـكِن تَصْدِيقَ الَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَتَفْصِيلَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک ان کے قصوں میں سمجھ داروں کے لئے عبرت ہے، یہ (قرآن) ایسا کلام نہیں جو گھڑ لیا جائے بلکہ (یہ تو) ان (آسمانی کتابوں) کی تصدیق ہے جو اس سے پہلے (نازل ہوئی) ہیں اور ہر چیز کی تفصیل ہے اور ہدایت ہے اور رحمت ہے اس قوم کے لئے جو ایمان لے آئے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | There is, in their stories, instruction for men endued with understanding. It is not a tale invented, but a confirmation of what went before it,- a detailed exposition of all things, and a guide and a mercy to any such as believe.
