| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [2:219] | Yas-aloonaka AAani alkhamri waalmaysiriqul feehima ithmun kabeerun wamanafiAAu lilnnasiwa-ithmuhuma akbaru min nafAAihima wayas-aloonaka mathayunfiqoona quli alAAafwa kathalika yubayyinu Allahulakumu al-ayati laAAallakum tatafakkaroona |  يسألونك عن الخمر والميسر قل فيهما إثم كبير ومنافع للناس وإثمهما أكبر من نفعهما ويسألونك ماذا ينفقون قل العفو كذلك يبين الله لكم الآيات لعلكم تتفكرونيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ قُلْ فِيهِمَا إِثْمٌ كَبِيرٌ وَمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَإِثْمُهُمَآ أَكْبَرُ مِن نَّفْعِهِمَا وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا يُنفِقُونَ قُلِ الْعَفْوَ كَذَلِكَ يُبيِّنُ اللّهُ لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | آپ سے شراب اور جوئے کی نسبت سوال کرتے ہیں، فرما دیں: ان دونوں میں بڑا گناہ ہے اور لوگوں کے لئے کچھ (دنیوی) فائدے بھی ہیں مگر ان دونوں کا گناہ ان کے نفع سے بڑھ کر ہے، اور آپ سے یہ بھی پوچھتے ہیں کہ کیا کچھ خرچ کریں؟ فرما دیں: جو ضرورت سے زائد ہے (خرچ کر دو)، اسی طرح اﷲ تمہارے لئے (اپنے) احکام کھول کر بیان فرماتا ہے تاکہ تم غور و فکر کرو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They ask thee concerning wine and gambling. Say: "In them is great sin, and some profit, for men; but the sin is greater than the profit." They ask thee how much they are to spend; Say: "What is beyond your needs." Thus doth Allah Make clear to you His Signs: In order that ye may consider-

| 2. [21:22] | Law kana feehima alihatunilla Allahu lafasadata fasubhana Allahirabbi alAAarshi AAamma yasifoona | لو كان فيهما آلهة إلا الله لفسدتا فسبحان الله رب العرش عما يصفون لَوْ كَانَ فِيهِمَا آلِهَةٌ إِلَّا اللَّهُ لَفَسَدَتَا فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اگر ان دونوں (زمین و آسمان) میں اﷲ کے سوا اور (بھی) معبود ہوتے تو یہ دونوں تباہ ہو جاتے، پس اﷲ جو عرش کا مالک ہے ان (باتوں) سے پاک ہے جو یہ (مشرک) بیان کرتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | If there were, in the heavens and the earth, other gods besides Allah, there would have been confusion in both! but glory to Allah, the Lord of the Throne: (High is He) above what they attribute to Him!

[34:22] | Quli odAAoo allatheena zaAAamtum mindooni Allahi la yamlikoona mithqala tharratinfee alssamawati wala fee al-ardiwama lahum feehima min shirkin wama lahuminhum min thaheerin | قل ادعوا الذين زعمتم من دون الله لا يملكون مثقال ذرة في السماوات ولا في الأرض وما لهم فيهما من شرك وما له منهم من ظهير قُلِ ادْعُوا الَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَلَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا لَهُمْ فِيهِمَا مِن شِرْكٍ وَمَا لَهُ مِنْهُم مِّن ظَهِيرٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | فرما دیجئے: تم انہیں بلا لو جنہیں تم اللہ کے سوا (معبود) سمجھتے ہو، وہ آسمانوں میں ذرّہ بھر کے مالک نہیں ہیں اور نہ زمین میں، اور نہ ان کی دونوں (زمین و آسمان) میں کوئی شراکت ہے اور نہ ان میں سے کوئی اللہ کا مددگار ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "Call upon other (gods) whom ye fancy, besides Allah: They have no power,- not the weight of an atom,- in the heavens or on earth: No (sort of) share have they therein, nor is any of them a helper to Allah.

[42:29] | Wamin ayatihi khalqu alssamawatiwaal-ardi wama baththa feehima min dabbatinwahuwa AAala jamAAihim itha yashao qadeerun | ومن آياته خلق السماوات والأرض وما بث فيهما من دابة وهو على جمعهم إذا يشاء قدير وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَثَّ فِيهِمَا مِن دَابَّةٍ وَهُوَ عَلَى جَمْعِهِمْ إِذَا يَشَاءُ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اُس کی نشانیوں میں سے آسمانوں اور زمین کی پیدائش ہے اور اُن چلنے والے (جانداروں) کا (پیدا کرنا) بھی جو اُس نے اِن میں پھیلا دیئے ہیں، اور وہ اِن (سب) کے جمع کرنے پر بھی جب چاہے گا بڑا قادر ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the living creatures that He has scattered through them: and He has power to gather them together when He wills.

| Yousuf Ali | In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free);

| Yousuf Ali | In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two.

| Yousuf Ali | In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance:
