| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [21:70] | Waaradoo bihi kaydan fajaAAalnahumual-akhsareena |  وأرادوا به كيدا فجعلناهم الأخسرينوَأَرَادُوا بِهِ كَيْدًا فَجَعَلْنَاهُمُ الْأَخْسَرِينَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور انہوں نے ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کے ساتھ بری چال کا ارادہ کیا تھا مگر ہم نے انہیں بری طرح ناکام کر دیا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Then they sought a stratagem against him: but We made them the ones that lost most!

| 2. [23:41] | Faakhathat-humu alssayhatubialhaqqi fajaAAalnahum ghuthaanfabuAAdan lilqawmi alththalimeena | فأخذتهم الصيحة بالحق فجعلناهم غثاء فبعدا للقوم الظالمين فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ بِالْحَقِّ فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ غُثَاءً فَبُعْدًا لِّلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پس سچے وعدہ کے مطابق انہیں خوفناک آواز نے آپکڑا سو ہم نے انہیں خس و خاشاک بنا دیا، پس ظالم قوم کے لئے (ہماری رحمت سے) دوری و محرومی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Then the Blast overtook them with justice, and We made them as rubbish of dead leaves (floating on the stream of Time)! So away with the people who do wrong!

[34:19] | Faqaloo rabbana baAAidbayna asfarina wathalamoo anfusahumfajaAAalnahum ahadeetha wamazzaqnahum kullamumazzaqin inna fee thalika laayatin likullisabbarin shakoorin | فقالوا ربنا باعد بين أسفارنا وظلموا أنفسهم فجعلناهم أحاديث ومزقناهم كل ممزق إن في ذلك لآيات لكل صبار شكور فَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا بَاعِدْ بَيْنَ أَسْفَارِنَا وَظَلَمُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَحَادِيثَ وَمَزَّقْنَاهُمْ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | تو وہ کہنے لگے: اے ہمارے رب! ہماری منازلِ سفر کے درمیان فاصلے پیدا کر دے، اور انہوں نے اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کیا تو ہم نے انہیں (عبرت کے) فسانے بنا دیا اور ہم نے انہیں ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر کے منتشر کر دیا۔ بیشک اس میں بہت صابر اور نہایت شکر گزار شخص کے لئے نشانیاں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But they said: "Our Lord! Place longer distances between our journey-stages": but they wronged themselves (therein). At length We made them as a tale (that is told), and We dispersed them all in scattered fragments. Verily in this are Signs for every (soul that is) patiently constant and grateful.

| Tahir ul Qadri | غرض انہوں نے ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کے ساتھ ایک چال چلنا چاہی سو ہم نے اُن ہی کو نیچا دکھا دیا (نتیجۃً آگ گلزار بن گئی) | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated!

| 5. [43:56] | FajaAAalnahum salafan wamathalan lil-akhireena | فجعلناهم سلفا ومثلا للآخرين فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ سَلَفًا وَمَثَلًا لِلْآخِرِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | سو ہم نے انہیں گیا گزرا کر دیا اور پیچھے آنے والوں کے لئے نمونۂ عبرت بنا دیا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And We made them (a people) of the Past and an Example to later ages.
