[65:8] | Wakaayyin min qaryatin AAatat AAan amrirabbiha warusulihi fahasabnaha hisabanshadeedan waAAaththabnaha AAathabannukran |  وكأين من قرية عتت عن أمر ربها ورسله فحاسبناها حسابا شديدا وعذبناها عذابا نكراوَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ عَتَتْ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهَا وَرُسُلِهِ فَحَاسَبْنَاهَا حِسَابًا شَدِيدًا وَعَذَّبْنَاهَا عَذَابًا نُّكْرًا | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور کتنی ہی بستیاں ایسی تھیں جن (کے رہنے والوں) نے اپنے رب کے حکم اور اُس کے رسولوں سے سرکشی و سرتابی کی تو ہم نے اُن کا سخت حساب کی صورت میں محاسبہ کیا اور انہیں ایسے سخت عذاب میں مبتلا کیا جو نہ دیکھا نہ سنا گیا تھا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | How many populations that insolently opposed the Command of their Lord and of His messengers, did We not then call to account,- to severe account?- and We imposed on them an exemplary Punishment.
