| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [7:173] | Aw taqooloo innama ashraka abaonamin qablu wakunna thurriyyatan min baAAdihimafatuhlikuna bima faAAala almubtiloona |  أو تقولوا إنما أشرك آباؤنا من قبل وكنا ذرية من بعدهم أفتهلكنا بما فعل المبطلونأَوْ تَقُولُواْ إِنَّمَا أَشْرَكَ آبَاؤُنَا مِن قَبْلُ وَكُنَّا ذُرِّيَّةً مِّن بَعْدِهِمْ أَفَتُهْلِكُنَا بِمَا فَعَلَ الْمُبْطِلُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | یا (ایسا نہ ہو کہ) تم کہنے لگو کہ شرک تو محض ہمارے آباء و اجداد نے پہلے کیا تھا اور ہم تو ان کے بعد (ان کی) اولاد تھے (گویا ہم مجرم نہیں اصل مجرم وہ ہیں)، تو کیا تو ہمیں اس (گناہ) کی پاداش میں ہلاک فرمائے گا جو اہلِ باطل نے انجام دیا تھا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Or lest ye should say: "Our fathers before us may have taken false gods, but we are (their) descendants after them: wilt Thou then destroy us because of the deeds of men who were futile?"

| 2. [29:48] | Wama kunta tatloo min qablihi min kitabinwala takhuttuhu biyameenika ithan lairtabaalmubtiloona | وما كنت تتلو من قبله من كتاب ولا تخطه بيمينك إذا لارتاب المبطلون وَمَا كُنتَ تَتْلُواْ مِن قَبْلِهِ مِن كِتَابٍ وَلَا تَخُطُّهُ بِيَمِينِكَ إِذًا لَّارْتَابَ الْمُبْطِلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (اے حبیب!) اس سے پہلے آپ کوئی کتاب نہیں پڑھا کرتے تھے اور نہ ہی آپ اسے اپنے ہاتھ سے لکھتے تھے ورنہ اہلِ باطل اسی وقت ضرور شک میں پڑ جاتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And thou wast not (able) to recite a Book before this (Book came), nor art thou (able) to transcribe it with thy right hand: In that case, indeed, would the talkers of vanities have doubted.

[40:78] | Walaqad arsalna rusulan min qablikaminhum man qasasna AAalayka waminhum man lamnaqsus AAalayka wama kana lirasoolinan ya/tiya bi-ayatin illa bi-ithni Allahifa-itha jaa amru Allahi qudiya bialhaqqiwakhasira hunalika almubtiloona | ولقد أرسلنا رسلا من قبلك منهم من قصصنا عليك ومنهم من لم نقصص عليك وما كان لرسول أن يأتي بآية إلا بإذن الله فإذا جاء أمر الله قضي بالحق وخسر هنالك المبطلون وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًا مِّن قَبْلِكَ مِنْهُم مَّن قَصَصْنَا عَلَيْكَ وَمِنْهُم مَّن لَّمْ نَقْصُصْ عَلَيْكَ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ بِآيَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ قُضِيَ بِالْحَقِّ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ الْمُبْطِلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بے شک ہم نے آپ سے پہلے بہت سے رسولوں کو بھیجا، ان میں سے بعض کا حال ہم نے آپ پر بیان فرما دیا اور ان میں سے بعض کا حال ہم نے (ابھی تک) آپ پر بیان نہیں فرمایا، اور کسی بھی رسول کے لئے یہ (ممکن) نہ تھا کہ وہ کوئی نشانی بھی اﷲ کے اِذن کے بغیر لے آئے، پھر جب اﷲ کا حکم آپہنچا (اور) حق و انصاف کے ساتھ فیصلہ کر دیا گیا تو اس وقت اہلِ باطل خسارے میں رہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | We did aforetime send messengers before thee: of them there are some whose story We have related to thee, and some whose story We have not related to thee. It was not (possible) for any messenger to bring a sign except by the leave of Allah: but when the Command of Allah issued, the matter was decided in truth and justice, and there perished, there and then those who stood on Falsehoods.

| 4. [45:27] | Walillahi mulku alssamawatiwaal-ardi wayawma taqoomu alssaAAatuyawma-ithin yakhsaru almubtiloona | ولله ملك السماوات والأرض ويوم تقوم الساعة يومئذ يخسر المبطلون وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرضِ وَيَومَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَخْسَرُ الْمُبْطِلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اللہ ہی کے لئے آسمانوں اور زمین کی بادشاہت ہے اور جِس دن قیامت برپا ہوگی تب (سب) اہلِ باطل سخت خسارے میں پڑ جائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and the Day that the Hour of Judgment is established,- that Day will the dealers in Falsehood perish!
