| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [20:133] | Waqaloo lawla ya/teenabi-ayatin min rabbihi awa lam ta/tihim bayyinatu mafee alssuhufi al-oola |  وقالوا لولا يأتينا بآية من ربه أولم تأتهم بينة ما في الصحف الأولىوَقَالُواْ لَوْلَا يَأْتِينَا بِآيَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِ أَوَلَمْ تَأْتِهِم بَيِّنَةُ مَا فِي الصُّحُفِ الْأُولَى | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (کفار) کہتے ہیں کہ یہ (رسول) ہمارے پاس اپنے رب کی طرف سے کوئی نشانی کیوں نہیں لاتے، کیا ان کے پاس ان باتوں کا واضح ثبوت (یعنی قرآن) نہیں آگیا جو اگلی کتابوں میں (مذکور) تھیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They say: "Why does he not bring us a sign from his Lord?" Has not a Clear Sign come to them of all that was in the former Books of revelation?

[43:71] | Yutafu AAalayhim bisihafinmin thahabin waakwabin wafeeha matashtaheehi al-anfusu watalaththu al-aAAyunu waantum feehakhalidoona | يطاف عليهم بصحاف من ذهب وأكواب وفيها ما تشتهيه الأنفس وتلذ الأعين وأنتم فيها خالدون يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِصِحَافٍ مِّن ذَهَبٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِيهِ الْأَنفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ الْأَعْيُنُ وَأَنتُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | ان پر سونے کی پلیٹوں اور گلاسوں کا دور چلایا جائے گا اور وہاں وہ سب چیزیں (موجود) ہوں گی جن کو دل چاہیں گے اور (جن سے) آنکھیں راحت پائیں گی اور تم وہاں ہمیشہ رہو گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | To them will be passed round, dishes and goblets of gold: there will be there all that the souls could desire, all that their ayes could delight in: and ye shall abide therein (for eye).

| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا اُسے اُن (باتوں) کی خبر نہیں دی گئی جو موسٰی (علیہ السلام) کے صحیفوں میں (مذکور) تھیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses-

| 4. [74:52] | Bal yureedu kullu imri-in minhum an yu/tasuhufan munashsharatan | بل يريد كل امرئ منهم أن يؤتى صحفا منشرة بَلْ يُرِيدُ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ مِّنْهُمْ أَن يُؤْتَى صُحُفًا مُّنَشَّرَةً | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بلکہ ان میں سے ہر ایک شخص یہ چاہتا ہے کہ اُسے (براہِ راست) کھلے ہوئے (آسمانی) صحیفے دے دئیے جائیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Forsooth, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of revelation) spread out!

| Tahir ul Qadri | (وہ دلیل) اﷲ کی طرف سے رسول (آخر الزماں صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہیں جو (ان پر) پاکیزہ اوراقِ (قرآن) کی تلاوت فرماتے ہیں | ||||||
