| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [7:137] | Waawrathna alqawma allatheenakanoo yustadAAafoona mashariqa al-ardiwamagharibaha allatee barakna feehawatammat kalimatu rabbika alhusna AAalabanee isra-eela bima sabaroo wadammarnama kana yasnaAAu firAAawnu waqawmuhu wamakanoo yaAArishoona |  وأورثنا القوم الذين كانوا يستضعفون مشارق الأرض ومغاربها التي باركنا فيها وتمت كلمت ربك الحسنى على بني إسرائيل بما صبروا ودمرنا ما كان يصنع فرعون وقومه وما كانوا يعرشونوَأَوْرَثْنَا الْقَوْمَ الَّذِينَ كَانُواْ يُسْتَضْعَفُونَ مَشَارِقَ الْأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبَهَا الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ الْحُسْنَى عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَآئِيلَ بِمَا صَبَرُواْ وَدَمَّرْنَا مَا كَانَ يَصْنَعُ فِرْعَوْنُ وَقَوْمُهُ وَمَا كَانُواْ يَعْرِشُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم نے اس قوم (بنی اسرائیل) کو جو کمزور اور استحصال زدہ تھی اس سرزمین کے مشرق و مغرب (مصر اور شام) کا وارث بنا دیا جس میں ہم نے برکت رکھی تھی، اور (یوں) بنی اسرائیل کے حق میں آپ کے رب کا نیک وعدہ پورا ہوگیا اس وجہ سے کہ انہوں نے (فرعونی مظالم پر) صبر کیا تھا، اور ہم نے ان (عالیشان محلات) کو تباہ و برباد کردیا جو فرعون اور اس کی قوم نے بنا رکھے تھے اور ان چنائیوں (اور باغات) کو بھی جنہیں وہ بلندیوں پر چڑھاتے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And We made a people, considered weak (and of no account), inheritors of lands in both east and west, - lands whereon We sent down Our blessings. The fair promise of thy Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel, because they had patience and constancy, and We levelled to the ground the great works and fine buildings which Pharaoh and his people erected (with such pride).

[17:16] | Wa-itha aradna an nuhlikaqaryatan amarna mutrafeeha fafasaqoo feehafahaqqa AAalayha alqawlu fadammarnahatadmeeran | وإذا أردنا أن نهلك قرية أمرنا مترفيها ففسقوا فيها فحق عليها القول فدمرناها تدميرا وَإِذَا أَرَدْنَا أَن نُّهْلِكَ قَرْيَةً أَمَرْنَا مُتْرَفِيهَا فَفَسَقُواْ فِيهَا فَحَقَّ عَلَيْهَا الْقَوْلُ فَدَمَّرْنَاهَا تَدْمِيرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جب ہم کسی بستی کو ہلاک کرنے کا ارادہ کرتے ہیں تو ہم وہاں کے امراء اور خوشحال لوگوں کو (کوئی) حکم دیتے ہیں (تاکہ ان کے ذریعہ عوام اور غرباء بھی درست ہو جائیں) تو وہ اس (بستی) میں نافرمانی کرتے ہیں پس اس پر ہمارا فرمانِ (عذاب) واجب ہو جاتا ہے پھر ہم اس بستی کو بالکل ہی مسمار کر دیتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | When We decide to destroy a population, We (first) send a definite order to those among them who are given the good things of this life and yet transgress; so that the word is proved true against them: then (it is) We destroy them utterly.

| 3. [25:36] | Faqulna ithhaba ilaalqawmi allatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinafadammarnahum tadmeeran | فقلنا اذهبا إلى القوم الذين كذبوا بآياتنا فدمرناهم تدميرا فَقُلْنَا اذْهَبَا إِلَى الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا فَدَمَّرْنَاهُمْ تَدْمِيرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر ہم نے کہا: تم دونوں اس قوم کے پاس جاؤ جنہوں نے ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلایا ہے (جب وہ ہماری تکذیب سے پھر بھی باز نہ آئے) تو ہم نے انہیں بالکل ہی ہلاک کر ڈالا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And We command: "Go ye both, to the people who have rejected our Signs:" And those (people) We destroyed with utter destruction.

| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر ہم نے دوسروں کو ہلاک کر دیا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But the rest We destroyed utterly.

| 5. [27:51] | Faonthur kayfa kanaAAaqibatu makrihim anna dammarnahumwaqawmahum ajmaAAeena | فانظر كيف كان عاقبة مكرهم أنا دمرناهم وقومهم أجمعين فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ مَكْرِهِمْ أَنَّا دَمَّرْنَاهُمْ وَقَوْمَهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | تو آپ دیکھئے کہ ان کی (مکارانہ) سازش کا انجام کیسا ہوا، بیشک ہم نے ان (سرداروں) کو اور ان کی ساری قوم کو تباہ و برباد کر دیا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Then see what was the end of their plot!- this, that We destroyed them and their people, all (of them).

| Yousuf Ali | Then We destroyed the rest.

[46:25] | Tudammiru kulla shay-in bi-amri rabbihafaasbahoo la yura illa masakinuhumkathalika najzee alqawma almujrimeena | تدمر كل شيء بأمر ربها فأصبحوا لا يرى إلا مساكنهم كذلك نجزي القوم المجرمين تُدَمِّرُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ بِأَمْرِ رَبِّهَا فَأَصْبَحُوا لَا يُرَى إِلَّا مَسَاكِنُهُمْ كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْقَوْمَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (جو) اپنے پروردگار کے حکم سے ہر شے کو تباہ و برباد کر دے گی پس وہ ایسے (تباہ) ہو گئے کہ ان کے (مِسمار) گھروں کے سوا کچھ نظر ہی نہیں آتا تھا۔ ہم مجرم لوگوں کو اِس طرح سزا دیا کرتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Everything will it destroy by the command of its Lord!" Then by the morning they - nothing was to be seen but (the ruins of) their houses! thus do We recompense those given to sin!

[47:10] | Afalam yaseeroo fee al-ardi fayanthurookayfa kana AAaqibatu allatheena min qablihimdammara Allahu AAalayhim walilkafireena amthaluha | أفلم يسيروا في الأرض فينظروا كيف كان عاقبة الذين من قبلهم دمر الله عليهم وللكافرين أمثالها أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ دَمَّرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ أَمْثَالُهَا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا انہوں نے زمین میں سفر و سیاحت نہیں کی کہ وہ دیکھ لیتے کہ ان لوگوں کا انجام کیسا ہوا جو ان سے پہلے تھے۔ اﷲ نے ان پر ہلاکت و بربادی ڈال دی۔ اور کافروں کے لئے اسی طرح کی بہت سی ہلاکتیں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them (who did evil)? Allah brought utter destruction on them, and similar (fates await) those who reject Allah.
