| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [2:164] | Inna fee khalqi alssamawatiwaal-ardi waikhtilafi allayli waalnnahariwaalfulki allatee tajree fee albahri bimayanfaAAu alnnasa wama anzala Allahumina alssama-i min ma-in faahyabihi al-arda baAAda mawtiha wabaththa feehamin kulli dabbatin watasreefi alrriyahiwaalssahabi almusakhkhari bayna alssama-iwaal-ardi laayatin liqawminyaAAqiloona |  إن في خلق السماوات والأرض واختلاف الليل والنهار والفلك التي تجري في البحر بما ينفع الناس وما أنزل الله من السماء من ماء فأحيا به الأرض بعد موتها وبث فيها من كل دابة وتصريف الرياح والسحاب المسخر بين السماء والأرض لآيات لقوم يعقلونإِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلاَفِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَالْفُلْكِ الَّتِي تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِمَا يَنفَعُ النَّاسَ وَمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مِن مَّاءٍ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍ وَتَصْرِيفِ الرِّيَاحِ وَالسَّحَابِ الْمُسَخِّرِ بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک آسمانوں اور زمین کی تخلیق میں اور رات دن کی گردش میں اور ان جہازوں (اور کشتیوں) میں جو سمندر میں لوگوں کو نفع پہنچانے والی چیزیں اٹھا کر چلتی ہیں اور اس (بارش) کے پانی میں جسے اﷲ آسمان کی طرف سے اتارتا ہے پھر اس کے ذریعے زمین کو مُردہ ہو جانے کے بعد زندہ کرتا ہے (وہ زمین) جس میں اس نے ہر قسم کے جانور پھیلا دیئے ہیں اور ہواؤں کے رُخ بدلنے میں اور اس بادل میں جو آسمان اور زمین کے درمیان (حکمِ الٰہی کا) پابند (ہو کر چلتا) ہے (ان میں) عقلمندوں کے لئے (قدرتِ الٰہی کی بہت سی) نشانیاں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alternation of the night and the day; in the sailing of the ships through the ocean for the profit of mankind; in the rain which Allah Sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds, and the clouds which they Trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth;- (Here) indeed are Signs for a people that are wise.

| 2. [5:119] | Qala Allahu hathayawmu yanfaAAu alssadiqeena sidquhum lahumjannatun tajree min tahtiha al-anharukhalideena feeha abadan radiya AllahuAAanhum waradoo AAanhu thalika alfawzu alAAatheemu | قال الله هذا يوم ينفع الصادقين صدقهم لهم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها أبدا رضي الله عنهم ورضوا عنه ذلك الفوز العظيم قَالَ اللّهُ هَذَا يَوْمُ يَنفَعُ الصَّادِقِينَ صِدْقُهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا رَّضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُواْ عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اللہ فرمائے گا: یہ ایسا دن ہے (جس میں) سچے لوگوں کو ان کا سچ فائدہ دے گا، ان کے لئے جنتیں ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہیں، وہ ان میں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں۔ اﷲ ان سے راضی ہوگیا اور وہ اس سے راضی ہوگئے، یہی (رضائے الٰہی) سب سے بڑی کامیابی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Allah will say: "This is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal Home: Allah well-pleased with them, and they with Allah: That is the great salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires).

[6:158] | Hal yanthuroona illaan ta/tiyahumu almala-ikatu aw ya/tiya rabbuka aw ya/tiyabaAAdu ayati rabbika yawma ya/tee baAAduayati rabbika la yanfaAAu nafsan eemanuhalam takun amanat min qablu aw kasabat fee eemanihakhayran quli intathiroo inna muntathiroona | هل ينظرون إلا أن تأتيهم الملائكة أو يأتي ربك أو يأتي بعض آيات ربك يوم يأتي بعض آيات ربك لا ينفع نفسا إيمانها لم تكن آمنت من قبل أو كسبت في إيمانها خيرا قل انتظروا إنا منتظرون هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلاَّ أَن تَأْتِيهُمُ الْمَلَآئِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ رَبُّكَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ بَعْضُ آيَاتِ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِي بَعْضُ آيَاتِ رَبِّكَ لاَ يَنفَعُ نَفْسًا إِيمَانُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ آمَنَتْ مِن قَبْلُ أَوْ كَسَبَتْ فِي إِيمَانِهَا خَيْرًا قُلِ انتَظِرُواْ إِنَّا مُنتَظِرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ فقط اسی انتظار میں ہیں کہ ان کے پاس (عذاب کے) فرشتے آپہنچیں یا آپ کا رب (خود) آجائے یا آپ کے رب کی کچھ (مخصوص) نشانیاں (عیاناً) آجائیں۔ (انہیں بتا دیجئے کہ) جس دن آپ کے رب کی بعض نشانیاں (یوں ظاہراً) آپہنچیں گی (تو اس وقت) کسی (ایسے) شخص کا ایمان اسے فائدہ نہیں پہنچائے گا جو پہلے سے ایمان نہیں لایا تھا یا اس نے اپنے ایمان (کی حالت) میں کوئی نیکی نہیں کمائی تھی، فرما دیجئے: تم انتظار کرو ہم (بھی) منتظر ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Are they waiting to see if the angels come to them, or thy Lord (Himself), or certain of the signs of thy Lord! the day that certain of the signs of thy Lord do come, no good will it do to a soul to believe in them then if it believed not before nor earned righteousness through its faith. Say: "Wait ye: we too are waiting."

[13:17] | Anzala mina alssama-i maanfasalat awdiyatun biqadariha faihtamalaalssaylu zabadan rabiyan wamimma yooqidoonaAAalayhi fee alnnari ibtighaa hilyatinaw mataAAin zabadun mithluhu kathalika yadribuAllahu alhaqqa waalbatila faammaalzzabadu fayathhabu jufaan waamma mayanfaAAu alnnasa fayamkuthu fee al-ardi kathalikayadribu Allahu al-amthala | أنزل من السماء ماء فسالت أودية بقدرها فاحتمل السيل زبدا رابيا ومما يوقدون عليه في النار ابتغاء حلية أو متاع زبد مثله كذلك يضرب الله الحق والباطل فأما الزبد فيذهب جفاء وأما ما ينفع الناس فيمكث في الأرض كذلك يضرب الله الأمثال أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَسَالَتْ أَوْدِيَةٌ بِقَدَرِهَا فَاحْتَمَلَ السَّيْلُ زَبَدًا رَّابِيًا وَمِمَّا يُوقِدُونَ عَلَيْهِ فِي النَّارِ ابْتِغَاءِ حِلْيَةٍ أَوْ مَتَاعٍ زَبَدٌ مِّثْلُهُ كَذَلِكَ يَضْرِبُ اللّهُ الْحَقَّ وَالْبَاطِلَ فَأَمَّا الزَّبَدُ فَيَذْهَبُ جُفَاءً وَأَمَّا مَا يَنفَعُ النَّاسَ فَيَمْكُثُ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَذَلِكَ يَضْرِبُ اللّهُ الْأَمْثَالَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اس نے آسمان کی جانب سے پانی اتارا تو وادیاں اپنی (اپنی) گنجائش کے مطابق بہہ نکلیں، پھر سیلاب کی رَو نے ابھرا ہوا جھاگ اٹھا لیا، اور جن چیزوں کو آگ میں تپاتے ہیں، زیور یا دوسرا سامان بنانے کے لئے اس پر بھی ویسا ہی جھاگ اٹھتا ہے، اس طرح اﷲ حق اور باطل کی مثالیں بیان فرماتا ہے، سو جھاگ تو (پانی والا ہو یا آگ والا سب) بے کار ہو کر رہ جاتا ہے اور البتہ جو کچھ لوگوں کے لئے نفع بخش ہوتا ہے وہ زمین میں باقی رہتا ہے، اﷲ اس طرح مثالیں بیان فرماتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He sends down water from the skies, and the channels flow, each according to its measure: But the torrent bears away to foam that mounts up to the surface. Even so, from that (ore) which they heat in the fire, to make ornaments or utensils therewith, there is a scum likewise. Thus doth Allah (by parables) show forth Truth and Vanity. For the scum disappears like forth cast out; while that which is for the good of mankind remains on the earth. Thus doth Allah set forth parables.

| Tahir ul Qadri | جس دن نہ کوئی مال نفع دے گا اور نہ اولاد | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail,

| 6. [30:57] | Fayawma-ithin la yanfaAAu allatheenathalamoo maAAthiratuhum wala humyustaAAtaboona | فيومئذ لا ينفع الذين ظلموا معذرتهم ولا هم يستعتبون فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يَنفَعُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پس اس دن ظالموں کو ان کی معذرت کوئی فائدہ نہ دے گی اور نہ ہی ان سے (اﷲ کو) راضی کرنے کا مطالبہ کیا جائے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail the transgressors, nor will they be invited (then) to seek grace (by repentance).

| 7. [32:29] | Qul yawma alfathi la yanfaAAuallatheena kafaroo eemanuhum wala hum yuntharoona | قل يوم الفتح لا ينفع الذين كفروا إيمانهم ولا هم ينظرون قُلْ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ لَا يَنفَعُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِيْمَانُهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | آپ فرما دیں: فیصلہ کے دن نہ کافروں کو ان کا ایمان فائدہ دے گا اور نہ ہی انہیں مہلت دی جائے گی | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "On the Day of Decision, no profit will it be to Unbelievers if they (then) believe! nor will they be granted a respite."

| 8. [40:52] | Yawma la yanfaAAu alththalimeenamaAAthiratuhum walahumu allaAAnatu walahum soo-o alddari | يوم لا ينفع الظالمين معذرتهم ولهم اللعنة ولهم سوء الدار يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ الظَّالِمِينَ مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ وَلَهُمُ اللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوءُ الدَّارِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جس دن ظالموں کو اُن کی معذرت فائدہ نہیں دے گی اور اُن کے لئے پھٹکار ہوگی اور اُن کے لئے (جہنّم کا) بُرا گھر ہوگا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The Day when no profit will it be to Wrong-doers to present their excuses, but they will (only) have the Curse and the Home of Misery.
