| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [3:180] | Wala yahsabanna allatheenayabkhaloona bima atahummu Allahu minfadlihi huwa khayran lahum bal huwa sharrun lahum sayutawwaqoonama bakhiloo bihi yawma alqiyamati walillahimeerathu alssamawati waal-ardiwaAllahu bima taAAmaloona khabeerun |  ولا يحسبن الذين يبخلون بما آتاهم الله من فضله هو خيرا لهم بل هو شر لهم سيطوقون ما بخلوا به يوم القيامة ولله ميراث السماوات والأرض والله بما تعملون خبيروَلاَ يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَّهُمْ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُواْ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلِلّهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جو لوگ اس (مال و دولت) میں سے دینے میں بخل کرتے ہیں جو اللہ نے انہیں اپنے فضل سے عطا کیا ہے وہ ہرگز اس بخل کو اپنے حق میں بہتر خیال نہ کریں، بلکہ یہ ان کے حق میں برا ہے، عنقریب روزِ قیامت انہیں (گلے میں) اس مال کا طوق پہنایا جائے گا جس میں وہ بخل کرتے رہے ہوں گے، اور اللہ ہی آسمانوں اور زمین کا وارث ہے (یعنی جیسے اب مالک ہے ایسے ہی تمہارے سب کے مر جانے کے بعد بھی وہی مالک رہے گا)، اور اللہ تمہارے سب کاموں سے آگاہ ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And let not those who covetously withhold of the gifts which Allah Hath given them of His Grace, think that it is good for them: Nay, it will be the worse for them: soon shall the things which they covetously withheld be tied to their necks Like a twisted collar, on the Day of Judgment. To Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

[4:37] | Allatheena yabkhaloona waya/muroona alnnasabialbukhli wayaktumoona ma atahumuAllahu min fadlihi waaAAtadna lilkafireenaAAathaban muheenan | الذين يبخلون ويأمرون الناس بالبخل ويكتمون ما آتاهم الله من فضله وأعتدنا للكافرين عذابا مهينا الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ وَيَأْمُرُونَ النَّاسَ بِالْبُخْلِ وَيَكْتُمُونَ مَا آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابًا مُّهِينًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جو لوگ (خود بھی) بخل کرتے ہیں اور لوگوں کو (بھی) بخل کا حکم دیتے ہیں اور اس (نعمت) کو چھپاتے ہیں جواللہ نے انہیں اپنے فضل سے عطا کی ہے، اور ہم نے کافروں کے لئے ذلت انگیز عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Nor) those who are niggardly or enjoin niggardliness on others, or hide the bounties which Allah hath bestowed on them; for We have prepared, for those who resist Faith, a punishment that steeps them in contempt;-

[57:24] | Allatheena yabkhaloona waya/muroona alnnasabialbukhli waman yatawalla fa-inna Allaha huwaalghaniyyu alhameedu | الذين يبخلون ويأمرون الناس بالبخل ومن يتول فإن الله هو الغني الحميد الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ وَيَأْمُرُونَ النَّاسَ بِالْبُخْلِ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جو لوگ (خود بھی) بخل کرتے ہیں اور (دوسرے) لوگوں کو (بھی) بخل کی تلقین کرتے ہیں، اور جو شخص (احکامِ الٰہی سے) رُوگردانی کرتا ہے تو بیشک اللہ (بھی) بے پرواہ ہے بڑا قابلِ حمد و ستائِش ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Such persons as are covetous and commend covetousness to men. And if any turn back (from Allah's Way), verily Allah is Free of all Needs, Worthy of all Praise.
