| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [14:5] | Walaqad arsalna moosa bi-ayatinaan akhrij qawmaka mina alththulumatiila alnnoori wathakkirhum bi-ayyamiAllahi inna fee thalika laayatinlikulli sabbarin shakoorin |  ولقد أرسلنا موسى بآياتنا أن أخرج قومك من الظلمات إلى النور وذكرهم بأيام الله إن في ذلك لآيات لكل صبار شكوروَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَى بِآيَاتِنَا أَنْ أَخْرِجْ قَوْمَكَ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ وَذَكِّرْهُمْ بِأَيَّامِ اللّهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بیشک ہم نے موسٰی (علیہ السلام) کو اپنی نشانیوں کے ساتھ بھیجا کہ (اے موسٰی!) تم اپنی قوم کو اندھیروں سے نکال کر نور کی طرف لے جاؤ اور انہیں اﷲ کے دنوں کی یاد دلاؤ (جو ان پر اور پہلی امتوں پر آچکے تھے)۔ بیشک اس میں ہر زیادہ صبر کرنے والے (اور) خوب شکر بجا لانے والے کے لئے نشانیاں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | We sent Moses with Our signs (and the command). "Bring out thy people from the depths of darkness into light, and teach them to remember the Days of Allah." Verily in this there are Signs for such as are firmly patient and constant,- grateful and appreciative.

[31:31] | Alam tara anna alfulka tajree fee albahribiniAAmati Allahi liyuriyakum min ayatihiinna fee thalika laayatin likulli sabbarinshakoorin | ألم تر أن الفلك تجري في البحر بنعمت الله ليريكم من آياته إن في ذلك لآيات لكل صبار شكور أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ الْفُلْكَ تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِنِعْمَتِ اللَّهِ لِيُرِيَكُم مِّنْ آيَاتِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا آپ نے نہیں دیکھا کہ کشتیاں سمندر میں اﷲ کی نعمت سے چلتی ہیں تاکہ وہ تمہیں اپنی کچھ نشانیاں دکھا دے۔ بیشک اس میں ہر بڑے صابر و شاکر کے لئے نشانیاں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Seest thou not that the ships sail through the ocean by the Grace of Allah?- that He may show you of His Signs? Verily in this are Signs for all who constantly persevere and give thanks.

[34:19] | Faqaloo rabbana baAAidbayna asfarina wathalamoo anfusahumfajaAAalnahum ahadeetha wamazzaqnahum kullamumazzaqin inna fee thalika laayatin likullisabbarin shakoorin | فقالوا ربنا باعد بين أسفارنا وظلموا أنفسهم فجعلناهم أحاديث ومزقناهم كل ممزق إن في ذلك لآيات لكل صبار شكور فَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا بَاعِدْ بَيْنَ أَسْفَارِنَا وَظَلَمُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَحَادِيثَ وَمَزَّقْنَاهُمْ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | تو وہ کہنے لگے: اے ہمارے رب! ہماری منازلِ سفر کے درمیان فاصلے پیدا کر دے، اور انہوں نے اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کیا تو ہم نے انہیں (عبرت کے) فسانے بنا دیا اور ہم نے انہیں ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر کے منتشر کر دیا۔ بیشک اس میں بہت صابر اور نہایت شکر گزار شخص کے لئے نشانیاں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But they said: "Our Lord! Place longer distances between our journey-stages": but they wronged themselves (therein). At length We made them as a tale (that is told), and We dispersed them all in scattered fragments. Verily in this are Signs for every (soul that is) patiently constant and grateful.

| 4. [35:30] | Liyuwaffiyahum ojoorahum wayazeedahum min fadlihiinnahu ghafoorun shakoorun | ليوفيهم أجورهم ويزيدهم من فضله إنه غفور شكور لِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَيَزِيدَهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِ إِنَّهُ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | تاکہ اﷲ ان کا اجر انہیں پورا پورا عطا فرمائے اور اپنے فضل سے انہیں مزید نوازے، بیشک اﷲ بڑا بخشنے والا، بڑا ہی شکر قبول فرمانے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | For He will pay them their meed, nay, He will give them (even) more out of His Bounty: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (service).

| 5. [35:34] | Waqaloo alhamdu lillahiallathee athhaba AAanna alhazana innarabbana laghafoorun shakoorun | وقالوا الحمد لله الذي أذهب عنا الحزن إن ربنا لغفور شكور وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ عَنَّا الْحَزَنَ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور وہ کہیں گے: اﷲ کا شکر و حمد ہے جس نے ہم سے کُل غم دور فرما دیا، بیشک ہمارا رب بڑا بخشنے والا، بڑا شکر قبول فرمانے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And they will say: "Praise be to Allah, Who has removed from us (all) sorrow: for our Lord is indeed Oft-Forgiving Ready to appreciate (service):

[42:23] | Thalika allathee yubashshiruAllahu AAibadahu allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo alssalihati qul laas-alukum AAalayhi ajran illa almawaddata fee alqurbawaman yaqtarif hasanatan nazid lahu feeha husnaninna Allaha ghafoorun shakoorun | ذلك الذي يبشر الله عباده الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات قل لا أسألكم عليه أجرا إلا المودة في القربى ومن يقترف حسنة نزد له فيها حسنا إن الله غفور شكور ذَلِكَ الَّذِي يُبَشِّرُ اللَّهُ عِبَادَهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ قُل لَّا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِلَّا الْمَوَدَّةَ فِي الْقُرْبَى وَمَن يَقْتَرِفْ حَسَنَةً نَّزِدْ لَهُ فِيهَا حُسْنًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یہ وہ (انعام) ہے جس کی خوشخبری اللہ ایسے بندوں کو سناتا ہے جو ایمان لائے اور نیک اعمال کرتے رہے، فرما دیجئے: میں اِس (تبلیغِ رسالت) پر تم سے کوئی اُجرت نہیں مانگتا مگر (اپنی اور اللہ کی) قرابت و قربت سے محبت (چاہتا ہوں) اور جو شخص نیکی کمائے گا ہم اس کے لئے اس میں اُخروی ثواب اور بڑھا دیں گے۔ بیشک اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا قدر دان ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | That is (the Bounty) whereof Allah gives Glad Tidings to His Servants who believe and do righteous deeds. Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this except the love of those near of kin." And if any one earns any good, We shall give him an increase of good in respect thereof: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (service).

[42:33] | In yasha/ yuskini alrreehafayathlalna rawakida AAala thahrihiinna fee thalika laayatin likulli sabbarinshakoorin | إن يشأ يسكن الريح فيظللن رواكد على ظهره إن في ذلك لآيات لكل صبار شكور إِن يَشَأْ يُسْكِنِ الرِّيحَ فَيَظْلَلْنَ رَوَاكِدَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اگر وہ چاہے ہوا کو بالکل ساکِن کر دے تو کشتیاں سطحِ سمندر پر رُکی رہ جائیں، بیشک اس میں ہر صبر شعار و شکر گزار کے لئے نشانیاں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | If it be His Will He can still the Wind: then would they become motionless on the back of the (ocean). Verily in this are Signs for everyone who patiently perseveres and is grateful.

| 8. [64:17] | In tuqridoo Allaha qardanhasanan yudaAAifhu lakum wayaghfir lakum waAllahushakoorun haleemun | إن تقرضوا الله قرضا حسنا يضاعفه لكم ويغفر لكم والله شكور حليم إِن تُقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا يُضَاعِفْهُ لَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ شَكُورٌ حَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اگر تم اللہ کو (اخلاص اور نیک نیتی سے) اچھا قرض دوگے تو وہ اسے تمہارے لئے کئی گنا بڑھا دے گا اور تمہیں بخش دے گا، اور اللہ بڑا قدر شناس ہے بُردبار ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | If ye loan to Allah, a beautiful loan, He will double it to your (credit), and He will grant you Forgiveness: for Allah is most Ready to appreciate (service), Most Forbearing,-
