| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [5:44] | Inna anzalna alttawratafeeha hudan wanoorun yahkumu biha alnnabiyyoonaallatheena aslamoo lillatheena hadoo waalrrabbaniyyoonawaal-ahbaru bima istuhfithoomin kitabi Allahi wakanoo AAalayhi shuhadaafala takhshawoo alnnasa waikhshawniwala tashtaroo bi-ayatee thamanan qaleelanwaman lam yahkum bima anzala Allahu faola-ikahumu alkafiroona |  إنا أنزلنا التوراة فيها هدى ونور يحكم بها النبيون الذين أسلموا للذين هادوا والربانيون والأحبار بما استحفظوا من كتاب الله وكانوا عليه شهداء فلا تخشوا الناس واخشون ولا تشتروا بآياتي ثمنا قليلا ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فأولئك هم الكافرونإِنَّا أَنزَلْنَا التَّوْرَاةَ فِيهَا هُدًى وَنُورٌ يَحْكُمُ بِهَا النَّبِيُّونَ الَّذِينَ أَسْلَمُواْ لِلَّذِينَ هَادُواْ وَالرَّبَّانِيُّونَ وَالْأَحْبَارُ بِمَا اسْتُحْفِظُواْ مِن كِتَابِ اللّهِ وَكَانُواْ عَلَيْهِ شُهَدَاءَ فَلاَ تَخْشَوُاْ النَّاسَ وَاخْشَوْنِ وَلاَ تَشْتَرُواْ بِآيَاتِي ثَمَنًا قَلِيلاً وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک ہم نے تورات نازل فرمائی جس میں ہدایت اور نور تھا، اس کے مطابق انبیاء جو (اﷲ کے) فرمانبردار (بندے) تھے یہودیوں کو حکم دیتے رہے اور اﷲ والے (یعنی ان کے اولیاء) اور علماء (بھی اسی کے مطابق فیصلے کرتے رہے)، اس وجہ سے کہ وہ اﷲ کی کتاب کے محافظ بنائے گئے تھے اور وہ اس پر نگہبان (و گواہ) تھے۔ پس تم (اقامتِ دین اور احکامِ الٰہی کے نفاذ کے معاملے میں) لوگوں سے مت ڈرو اور (صرف) مجھ سے ڈرا کرو اور میری آیات (یعنی احکام) کے بدلے (دنیا کی) حقیر قیمت نہ لیا کرو، اور جو شخص اللہ کے نازل کردہ حکم کے مطابق فیصلہ (و حکومت) نہ کرے سو وہی لوگ کافر ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | It was We who revealed the law (to Moses): therein was guidance and light. By its standard have been judged the Jews, by the prophets who bowed (as in Islam) to Allah's will, by the rabbis and the doctors of law: for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah's book, and they were witnesses thereto: therefore fear not men, but fear me, and sell not my signs for a miserable price. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (no better than) Unbelievers.

[5:63] | Lawla yanhahumu alrrabbaniyyoonawaal-ahbaru AAan qawlihimu al-ithmawaaklihimu alssuhta labi/sa ma kanooyasnaAAoona | لولا ينهاهم الربانيون والأحبار عن قولهم الإثم وأكلهم السحت لبئس ما كانوا يصنعون لَوْلاَ يَنْهَاهُمُ الرَّبَّانِيُّونَ وَالْأَحْبَارُ عَن قَوْلِهِمُ الْإِثْمَ وَأَكْلِهِمُ السُّحْتَ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُواْ يَصْنَعُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | انہیں (روحانی) درویش اور (دینی) علماء ان کے قولِ گناہ اور اکلِ حرام سے منع کیوں نہیں کرتے؟ بیشک وہ (بھی برائی کے خلاف آواز بلند نہ کر کے) جو کچھ تیار کر رہے ہیں بہت برا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Why do not the rabbis and the doctors of Law forbid them from their (habit of) uttering sinful words and eating things forbidden? Evil indeed are their works.

[9:31] | Ittakhathoo ahbarahumwaruhbanahum arbaban min dooni Allahi waalmaseehaibna maryama wama omiroo illa liyaAAbudoo ilahanwahidan la ilaha illa huwa subhanahuAAamma yushrikoona | اتخذوا أحبارهم ورهبانهم أربابا من دون الله والمسيح ابن مريم وما أمروا إلا ليعبدوا إلها واحدا لا إله إلا هو سبحانه عما يشركون اتَّخَذُواْ أَحْبَارَهُمْ وَرُهْبَانَهُمْ أَرْبَابًا مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ وَالْمَسِيحَ ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَمَا أُمِرُواْ إِلاَّ لِيَعْبُدُواْ إِلَـهًا وَاحِدًا لاَّ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ سُبْحَانَهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | انہوں نے اللہ کے سوا اپنے عالموں اور زاہدوں کو رب بنا لیا تھا اور مریم کے بیٹے مسیح (علیہ السلام) کو (بھی) حالانکہ انہیں بجز اس کے (کوئی) حکم نہیں دیا گیا تھا کہ وہ اکیلے ایک (ہی) معبود کی عبادت کریں، جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ ان سے پاک ہے جنہیں یہ شریک ٹھہراتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of Allah, and (they take as their Lord) Christ the son of Mary; yet they were commanded to worship but One Allah: there is no god but He. Praise and glory to Him: (Far is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him).

[9:34] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooinna katheeran mina al-ahbari waalrruhbanilaya/kuloona amwala alnnasi bialbatiliwayasuddoona AAan sabeeli Allahi waallatheenayaknizoona alththahaba waalfiddatawala yunfiqoonaha fee sabeeli Allahifabashshirhum biAAathabin aleemin | يا أيها الذين آمنوا إن كثيرا من الأحبار والرهبان ليأكلون أموال الناس بالباطل ويصدون عن سبيل الله والذين يكنزون الذهب والفضة ولا ينفقونها في سبيل الله فبشرهم بعذاب أليم يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ إِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ الْأَحْبَارِ وَالرُّهْبَانِ لَيَأْكُلُونَ أَمْوَالَ النَّاسِ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَالَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُونَ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ وَلاَ يُنفِقُونَهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ایمان والو! بیشک (اہلِ کتاب کے) اکثر علماء اور درویش، لوگوں کے مال ناحق (طریقے سے) کھاتے ہیں اور اللہ کی راہ سے روکتے ہیں (یعنی لوگوں کے مال سے اپنی تجوریاں بھرتے ہیں اور دینِ حق کی تقویت و اشاعت پر خرچ کئے جانے سے روکتے ہیں)، اور جو لوگ سونا اور چاندی کا ذخیرہ کرتے ہیں اور اسے اللہ کی راہ میں خرچ نہیں کرتے تو انہیں دردناک عذاب کی خبر سنا دیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O ye who believe! there are indeed many among the priests and anchorites, who in Falsehood devour the substance of men and hinder (them) from the way of Allah. And there are those who bury gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah: announce unto them a most grievous penalty-

| 5. [30:15] | Faamma allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo alssalihati fahum fee rawdatinyuhbaroona | فأما الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات فهم في روضة يحبرون فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَهُمْ فِي رَوْضَةٍ يُحْبَرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پس جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور نیک اعمال کرتے رہے تو وہ باغاتِ جنت میں خوش حال و مسرور کر دیئے جائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Then those who have believed and worked righteous deeds, shall be made happy in a Mead of Delight.

| 6. [43:70] | Odkhuloo aljannata antum waazwajukumtuhbaroona | ادخلوا الجنة أنتم وأزواجكم تحبرون ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ أَنتُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُكُمْ تُحْبَرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | تم اور تمہارے ساتھ جڑے رہنے والے ساتھی٭ (سب) جنت میں داخل ہو جاؤ (جنت کی نعمتوں، راحتوں اور لذّتوں کے ساتھ) تمہاری تکریم کی جائے گی | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Enter ye the Garden, ye and your wives, in (beauty and) rejoicing.
