| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [44:24] | Waotruki albahra rahwaninnahum jundun mughraqoona |  واترك البحر رهوا إنهم جند مغرقونوَاتْرُكِ الْبَحْرَ رَهْوًا إِنَّهُمْ جُندٌ مُّغْرَقُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم نے اُس (بستی) میں اُن لوگوں کے لئے (عبرت کی) ایک نشانی باقی رکھی جو دردناک عذاب سے ڈرتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And We left there a Sign for such as fear the Grievous Penalty.

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بیشک ہم نے اِس (طوفانِ نوح کے آثار) کو نشانی کے طور پر باقی رکھا تو کیا کوئی سوچنے (اور نصیحت قبول کرنے) والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And We have left this as a Sign (for all time): then is there any that will receive admonition?

[59:5] | Ma qataAAtum min leenatin awtaraktumooha qa-imatan AAala osoolihafabi-ithni Allahi waliyukhziya alfasiqeena | ما قطعتم من لينة أو تركتموها قائمة على أصولها فبإذن الله وليخزي الفاسقين مَا قَطَعْتُم مِّن لِّينَةٍ أَوْ تَرَكْتُمُوهَا قَائِمَةً عَلَى أُصُولِهَا فَبِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَلِيُخْزِيَ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (اے مومنو! یہود بنو نَضیر کے محاصرہ کے دوران) جو کھجور کے درخت تم نے کاٹ ڈالے یا تم نے انہیں اُن کی جڑوں پر کھڑا چھوڑ دیا تو (یہ سب) اللہ ہی کے حکم سے تھا اور اس لئے کہ وہ نافرمانوں کو ذلیل و رسوا کرے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Whether ye cut down (O ye Muslim!) The tender palm-trees, or ye left them standing on their roots, it was by leave of Allah, and in order that He might cover with shame the rebellious transgresses.

| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا اِنسان یہ خیال کرتا ہے کہ اُسے بے کار (بغیر حساب و کتاب کے) چھوڑ دیا جائے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Does man think that he will be left uncontrolled, (without purpose)?

[62:11] | Wa-itha raaw tijaratan awlahwan infaddoo ilayha watarakooka qa-imanqul ma AAinda Allahi khayrun mina allahwi wamina alttijaratiwaAllahu khayru alrraziqeena | وإذا رأوا تجارة أو لهوا انفضوا إليها وتركوك قائما قل ما عند الله خير من اللهو ومن التجارة والله خير الرازقين وَإِذَا رَأَوْا تِجَارَةً أَوْ لَهْوًا انفَضُّوا إِلَيْهَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَائِمًا قُلْ مَا عِندَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِّنَ اللَّهْوِ وَمِنَ التِّجَارَةِ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جب انہوں نے کوئی تجارت یا کھیل تماشا دیکھا تو (اپنی حاجت مندی اور معاشی تنگی کے باعث) اس کی طرف بھاگ کھڑے ہوئے اور آپ کو (خطبہ میں) کھڑے چھوڑ گئے، فرما دیجئے: جو کچھ اللہ کے پاس ہے وہ کھیل سے اور تجارت سے بہتر ہے، اور اللہ سب سے بہتر رزق دینے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But when they see some bargain or some amusement, they disperse headlong to it, and leave thee standing. Say: "The (blessing) from the Presence of Allah is better than any amusement or bargain! and Allah is the Best to provide (for all needs)."
