| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [3:193] | Rabbana innana samiAAnamunadiyan yunadee lil-eemani an aminoobirabbikum faamanna rabbana faighfirlana thunoobana wakaffir AAannasayyi-atina watawaffana maAAa al-abrari |  ربنا إننا سمعنا مناديا ينادي للإيمان أن آمنوا بربكم فآمنا ربنا فاغفر لنا ذنوبنا وكفر عنا سيئاتنا وتوفنا مع الأبراررَّبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُواْ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ہمارے رب! (ہم تجھے بھولے ہوئے تھے) سو ہم نے ایک ندا دینے والے کو سنا جو ایمان کی ندا دے رہا تھا کہ (لوگو!) اپنے رب پر ایمان لاؤ تو ہم ایمان لے آئے۔ اے ہمارے رب! اب ہمارے گناہ بخش دے اور ہماری خطاؤں کو ہمارے (نوشتۂ اعمال) سے محو فرما دے اور ہمیں نیک لوگوں کی سنگت میں موت دے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Our Lord! we have heard the call of one calling (Us) to Faith, 'Believe ye in the Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, blot out from us our iniquities, and take to Thyself our souls in the company of the righteous.

[7:172] | Wa-ith akhatha rabbuka minbanee adama min thuhoorihim thurriyyatahumwaashhadahum AAala anfusihim alastu birabbikum qaloobala shahidna an taqooloo yawma alqiyamatiinna kunna AAan hatha ghafileena | وإذ أخذ ربك من بني آدم من ظهورهم ذريتهم وأشهدهم على أنفسهم ألست بربكم قالوا بلى شهدنا أن تقولوا يوم القيامة إنا كنا عن هذا غافلين وَإِذْ أَخَذَ رَبُّكَ مِن بَنِي آدَمَ مِن ظُهُورِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَأَشْهَدَهُمْ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ أَلَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ قَالُواْ بَلَى شَهِدْنَا أَن تَقُولُواْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّا كُنَّا عَنْ هَذَا غَافِلِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یاد کیجئے جب آپ کے رب نے اولادِ آدم کی پشتوں سے ان کی نسل نکالی اور ان کو انہی کی جانوں پر گواہ بنایا (اور فرمایا:) کیا میں تمہارا رب نہیں ہوں؟ وہ (سب) بول اٹھے: کیوں نہیں! (تو ہی ہمارا رب ہے)۔ ہم گواہی دیتے ہیں تاکہ قیامت کے دن یہ (نہ) کہو کہ ہم اس عہد سے بے خبر تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | When thy Lord drew forth from the Children of Adam - from their loins - their descendants, and made them testify concerning themselves, (saying): "Am I not your Lord (who cherishes and sustains you)?"- They said: "Yea! We do testify!" (This), lest ye should say on the Day of Judgment: "Of this we were never mindful":

| 4. [41:23] | Wathalikum thannukumuallathee thanantum birabbikum ardakumfaasbahtum mina alkhasireena | وذلكم ظنكم الذي ظننتم بربكم أرداكم فأصبحتم من الخاسرين وَذَلِكُمْ ظَنُّكُمُ الَّذِي ظَنَنتُم بِرَبِّكُمْ أَرْدَاكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم مِّنْ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور تمہارا یہی گمان جو تم نے اپنے رب کے بارے میں قائم کیا، تمہیں ہلاک کر گیا سو تم نقصان اٹھانے والوں میں سے ہو گئے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "But this thought of yours which ye did entertain concerning your Lord, hath brought you to destruction, and (now) have ye become of those utterly lost!"

[57:8] | Wama lakum la tu/minoona biAllahiwaalrrasoolu yadAAookum litu/minoo birabbikum waqad akhathameethaqakum in kuntum mu/mineena | وما لكم لا تؤمنون بالله والرسول يدعوكم لتؤمنوا بربكم وقد أخذ ميثاقكم إن كنتم مؤمنين وَمَا لَكُمْ لَا تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِتُؤْمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ وَقَدْ أَخَذَ مِيثَاقَكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور تمہیں کیا ہوگیا ہے کہ تم اللہ پر ایمان نہیں لاتے، حالانکہ رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تمہیں بلا رہے ہیں کہ تم اپنے رب پر ایمان لاؤ اور بیشک (اللہ) تم سے مضبوط عہد لے چکا ہے، اگر تم ایمان لانے والے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | What cause have ye why ye should not believe in Allah?- and the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord, and has indeed taken your Covenant, if ye are men of Faith.
