| 1. [26:82] | Waallathee atmaAAu anyaghfira lee khatee-atee yawma alddeeni |  والذي أطمع أن يغفر لي خطيئتي يوم الدينوَالَّذِي أَطْمَعُ أَن يَغْفِرَ لِي خَطِيئَتِي يَوْمَ الدِّينِ | |||||

[3:194] | Rabbana waatina mawaAAadtana AAala rusulika wala tukhzinayawma alqiyamati innaka la tukhlifu almeeAAada | ربنا وآتنا ما وعدتنا على رسلك ولا تخزنا يوم القيامة إنك لا تخلف الميعاد رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَى رُسُلِكَ وَلاَ تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّكَ لاَ تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ہمارے رب! اور ہمیں وہ سب کچھ عطا فرما جس کا تو نے ہم سے اپنے رسولوں کے ذریعے وعدہ فرمایا ہے اور ہمیں قیامت کے دن رسوا نہ کر، بیشک تو وعدہ کے خلاف نہیں کرتا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Our Lord! Grant us what Thou didst promise unto us through Thine messengers, and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment: For Thou never breakest Thy promise."

[4:87] | Allahu la ilaha illahuwa layajmaAAannakum ila yawmi alqiyamati larayba feehi waman asdaqu mina Allahi hadeethan | الله لا إله إلا هو ليجمعنكم إلى يوم القيامة لا ريب فيه ومن أصدق من الله حديثا اللّهُ لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ لَيَجْمَعَنَّكُمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لاَ رَيْبَ فِيهِ وَمَنْ أَصْدَقُ مِنَ اللّهِ حَدِيثًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اللہ ہے (کہ) اس کے سوا کوئی لائقِ عبادت نہیں۔ وہ تمہیں ضرور قیامت کے دن جمع کرے گا جس میں کوئی شک نہیں، اور اللہ سے بات میں زیادہ سچا کون ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Allah! There is no god but He: of a surety He will gather you together against the Day of Judgment, about which there is no doubt. And whose word can be truer than Allah's?

[4:109] | Haantum haola-i jadaltumAAanhum fee alhayati alddunya famanyujadilu Allaha AAanhum yawma alqiyamati amman yakoonu AAalayhim wakeelan | ها أنتم هؤلاء جادلتم عنهم في الحياة الدنيا فمن يجادل الله عنهم يوم القيامة أم من يكون عليهم وكيلا هَاأَنتُمْ هَـؤُلاَءِ جَادَلْتُمْ عَنْهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا فَمَن يُجَادِلُ اللّهَ عَنْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَم مَّن يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكِيلاً | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | خبردار! تم وہ لوگ ہو جو دنیا کی زندگی میں ان کی طرف سے جھگڑے۔ پھر کون ایسا شخص ہے جو قیامت کے دن (بھی) ان کی طرف سے اللہ کے ساتھ جھگڑے گا یا کون ہے جو (اس دن بھی) ان پر وکیل ہوگا؟ | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Ah! These are the sort of men on whose behalf ye may contend in this world; but who will contend with Allah on their behalf on the Day of Judgment, or who will carry their affairs through?

[5:14] | Wamina allatheena qaloo innanasara akhathna meethaqahumfanasoo haththan mimma thukkiroobihi faaghrayna baynahumu alAAadawata waalbaghdaaila yawmi alqiyamati wasawfa yunabbi-ohumu Allahubima kanoo yasnaAAoona | ومن الذين قالوا إنا نصارى أخذنا ميثاقهم فنسوا حظا مما ذكروا به فأغرينا بينهم العداوة والبغضاء إلى يوم القيامة وسوف ينبئهم الله بما كانوا يصنعون وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ إِنَّا نَصَارَى أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَهُمْ فَنَسُواْ حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِ فَأَغْرَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَسَوْفَ يُنَبِّئُهُمُ اللّهُ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَصْنَعُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم نے ان لوگوں سے (بھی اسی قسم کا) عہد لیا تھا جو کہتے ہیں: ہم نصاریٰ ہیں، پھر وہ (بھی) اس (رہنمائی) کا ایک (بڑا) حصہ فراموش کر بیٹھے جس کی انہیں نصیحت کی گئی تھی۔ سو (اس بدعہدی کے باعث) ہم نے ان کے درمیان دشمنی اور کینہ روزِ قیامت تک ڈال دیا، اور عنقریب اﷲ انہیں ان (اعمال کی حقیقت) سے آگاہ فرما دے گا جو وہ کرتے رہتے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We did take a covenant, but they forgot a good part of the message that was sent them: so we estranged them, with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, to the day of judgment. And soon will Allah show them what it is they have done.

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور مجھے (اُس دن) رسوا نہ کرنا جس دن لوگ قبروں سے اٹھائے جائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "And let me not be in disgrace on the Day when (men) will be raised up;-

[4:141] | Allatheena yatarabbasoonabikum fa-in kana lakum fathun mina Allahi qalooalam nakun maAAakum wa-in kana lilkafireena naseebunqaloo alam nastahwith AAalaykum wanamnaAAkummina almu/mineena faAllahu yahkumu baynakumyawma alqiyamati walan yajAAala Allahu lilkafireenaAAala almu/mineena sabeelan | الذين يتربصون بكم فإن كان لكم فتح من الله قالوا ألم نكن معكم وإن كان للكافرين نصيب قالوا ألم نستحوذ عليكم ونمنعكم من المؤمنين فالله يحكم بينكم يوم القيامة ولن يجعل الله للكافرين على المؤمنين سبيلا الَّذِينَ يَتَرَبَّصُونَ بِكُمْ فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ فَتْحٌ مِّنَ اللّهِ قَالُواْ أَلَمْ نَكُن مَّعَكُمْ وَإِن كَانَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ نَصِيبٌ قَالُواْ أَلَمْ نَسْتَحْوِذْ عَلَيْكُمْ وَنَمْنَعْكُم مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَاللّهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَن يَجْعَلَ اللّهُ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَبِيلاً | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ (منافق) جو تمہاری (فتح و شکست کی) تاک میں رہتے ہیں، پھر اگر تمہیں اللہ کی طرف سے فتح نصیب ہو جائے تو کہتے ہیں: کیا ہم تمہارے ساتھ نہ تھے؟ اور اگر کافروں کو (ظاہری فتح میں سے) کچھ حصہ مل گیا تو (ان سے) کہتے ہیں: کیا ہم تم پر غالب نہیں ہو گئے تھے اور (اس کے باوجود) کیا ہم نے تمہیں مسلمانوں (کے ہاتھوں نقصان) سے نہیں بچایا؟ پس اللہ تمہارے درمیان قیامت کے دن فیصلہ فرمائے گا، اور اللہ کافروں کو مسلمانوں پر (غلبہ پانے کی) ہرگز کوئی راہ نہ دے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (These are) the ones who wait and watch about you: if ye do gain a victory from Allah, they say: "Were we not with you?"- but if the unbelievers gain a success, they say (to them): "Did we not gain an advantage over you, and did we not guard you from the believers?" but Allah will judge betwixt you on the Day of Judgment. And never will Allah grant to the unbelievers a way (to triumphs) over the believers.

[5:36] | Inna allatheena kafaroo law annalahum ma fee al-ardi jameeAAan wamithlahu maAAahuliyaftadoo bihi min AAathabi yawmi alqiyamati matuqubbila minhum walahum AAathabun aleemun | إن الذين كفروا لو أن لهم ما في الأرض جميعا ومثله معه ليفتدوا به من عذاب يوم القيامة ما تقبل منهم ولهم عذاب أليم إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوْ أَنَّ لَهُم مَّا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ لِيَفْتَدُواْ بِهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ مَا تُقُبِّلَ مِنْهُمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک جو لوگ کفر کے مرتکب ہو رہے ہیں اگر ان کے پاس وہ سب کچھ (مال و متاع اور خزانہ موجود) ہو جو روئے زمین میں ہے بلکہ اس کے ساتھ اتنا اور (بھی) تاکہ وہ روزِ قیامت کے عذاب سے (نجات کے لئے) اسے فدیہ (یعنی اپنی جان کے بدلہ) میں دے دیں تو (وہ سب کچھ بھی) ان سے قبول نہیں کیا جائے گا، اور ان کے لئے درد ناک عذاب ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | As to those who reject Faith,- if they had everything on earth, and twice repeated, to give as ransom for the penalty of the Day of Judgment, it would never be accepted of them, theirs would be a grievous penalty.

| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک میں تم پر ایک زبردست دن کے عذاب کا خوف رکھتا ہوں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Truly I fear for you the Penalty of a Great Day."

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اِسے برائی (کے ارادہ) سے ہاتھ مت لگانا ورنہ بڑے (سخت) دن کا عذاب تمہیں آپکڑے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Touch her not with harm, lest the Penalty of a Great Day seize you."

[5:64] | Waqalati alyahoodu yadu Allahimaghloolatun ghullat aydeehim waluAAinoo bima qaloobal yadahu mabsootatani yunfiqu kayfa yashaowalayazeedanna katheeran minhum ma onzila ilayka minrabbika tughyanan wakufran waalqaynabaynahumu alAAadawata waalbaghdaa ilayawmi alqiyamati kullama awqadoo naran lilharbiatfaaha Allahu wayasAAawna fee al-ardifasadan waAllahu la yuhibbualmufsideena | وقالت اليهود يد الله مغلولة غلت أيديهم ولعنوا بما قالوا بل يداه مبسوطتان ينفق كيف يشاء وليزيدن كثيرا منهم ما أنزل إليك من ربك طغيانا وكفرا وألقينا بينهم العداوة والبغضاء إلى يوم القيامة كلما أوقدوا نارا للحرب أطفأها الله ويسعون في الأرض فسادا والله لا يحب المفسدين وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ يَدُ اللّهِ مَغْلُولَةٌ غُلَّتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَلُعِنُواْ بِمَا قَالُواْ بَلْ يَدَاهُ مَبْسُوطَتَانِ يُنفِقُ كَيْفَ يَشَاءُ وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم مَّا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ طُغْيَانًا وَكُفْرًا وَأَلْقَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ كُلَّمَا أَوْقَدُواْ نَارًا لِّلْحَرْبِ أَطْفَأَهَا اللّهُ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَسَادًا وَاللّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یہود کہتے ہیں کہ اﷲ کا ہاتھ بندھا ہوا ہے (یعنی معاذ اﷲ وہ بخیل ہے)، ان کے (اپنے) ہاتھ باندھے جائیں اور جو کچھ انہوں نے کہا اس کے باعث ان پر لعنت کی گئی، بلکہ (حق یہ ہے کہ) اس کے دونوں ہاتھ (جود و سخا کے لئے) کشادہ ہیں، وہ جس طرح چاہتا ہے خرچ (یعنی بندوں پر عطائیں) فرماتا ہے، اور (اے حبیب!) جو (کتاب) آپ کی طرف آپ کے ربّ کی جانب سے نازل کی گئی ہے یقیناً ان میں سے اکثر لوگوں کو (حسداً) سر کشی اور کفر میں اور بڑھا دے گی، اور ہم نے ان کے درمیان روزِ قیامت تک عداوت اور بغض ڈال دیا ہے، جب بھی یہ لوگ جنگ کی آگ بھڑکاتے ہیں اﷲ اسے بجھا دیتا ہے اور یہ (روئے) زمین میں فساد انگیزی کرتے رہتے ہیں، اور اﷲ فساد کرنے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The Jews say: "Allah's hand is tied up." Be their hands tied up and be they accursed for the (blasphemy) they utter. Nay, both His hands are widely outstretched: He giveth and spendeth (of His bounty) as He pleaseth. But the revelation that cometh to thee from Allah increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. Amongst them we have placed enmity and hatred till the Day of Judgment. Every time they kindle the fire of war, Allah doth extinguish it; but they (ever) strive to do mischief on earth. And Allah loveth not those who do mischief.

[5:109] | Yawma yajmaAAu Allahu alrrusulafayaqoolu matha ojibtum qaloo la AAilma lanainnaka anta AAallamu alghuyoobi | يوم يجمع الله الرسل فيقول ماذا أجبتم قالوا لا علم لنا إنك أنت علام الغيوب يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُ اللّهُ الرُّسُلَ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَا أُجِبْتُمْ قَالُواْ لاَ عِلْمَ لَنَا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلاَّمُ الْغُيُوبِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (اس دن سے ڈرو) جس دن اللہ تمام رسولوں کوجمع فرمائے گا پھر (ان سے) فرمائے گا کہ تمہیں (تمہاری امتوں کی طرف سے دعوتِ دین کا) کیا جواب دیا گیا تھا؟ وہ (حضورِ الٰہی میں) عرض کریں گے: ہمیں کچھ علم نہیں، بیشک تو ہی غیب کی سب باتوں کا خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | One day will Allah gather the messengers together, and ask: "What was the response ye received (from men to your teaching)?" They will say: "We have no knowledge: it is Thou Who knowest in full all that is hidden."

| 14. [33:44] | Tahiyyatuhum yawma yalqawnahu salamunwaaAAadda lahum ajran kareeman | تحيتهم يوم يلقونه سلام وأعد لهم أجرا كريما تَحِيَّتُهُمْ يَوْمَ يَلْقَوْنَهُ سَلَامٌ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا كَرِيْمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جس دن وہ (مومِن) اس سے ملاقات کریں گے تو ان (کی ملاقات) کا تحفہ سلام ہوگا، اور اس نے ان کے لئے بڑی عظمت والا اجر تیار کر رکھا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Their salutation on the Day they meet Him will be "Peace!"; and He has prepared for them a generous Reward.

| 15. [37:20] | Waqaloo ya waylana hathayawmu alddeeni | وقالوا يا ويلنا هذا يوم الدين وَقَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا هَذَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور کہیں گے: ہائے ہماری شامت! یہ تو جزا کا دن ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!"

[5:119] | Qala Allahu hathayawmu yanfaAAu alssadiqeena sidquhum lahumjannatun tajree min tahtiha al-anharukhalideena feeha abadan radiya AllahuAAanhum waradoo AAanhu thalika alfawzu alAAatheemu | قال الله هذا يوم ينفع الصادقين صدقهم لهم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها أبدا رضي الله عنهم ورضوا عنه ذلك الفوز العظيم قَالَ اللّهُ هَذَا يَوْمُ يَنفَعُ الصَّادِقِينَ صِدْقُهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا رَّضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُواْ عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اللہ فرمائے گا: یہ ایسا دن ہے (جس میں) سچے لوگوں کو ان کا سچ فائدہ دے گا، ان کے لئے جنتیں ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہیں، وہ ان میں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں۔ اﷲ ان سے راضی ہوگیا اور وہ اس سے راضی ہوگئے، یہی (رضائے الٰہی) سب سے بڑی کامیابی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Allah will say: "This is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal Home: Allah well-pleased with them, and they with Allah: That is the great salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires).

[6:12] | Qul liman ma fee alssamawatiwaal-ardi qul lillahi kataba AAalanafsihi alrrahmata layajmaAAannakum ilayawmi alqiyamati la rayba feehi allatheenakhasiroo anfusahum fahum la yu/minoona | قل لمن ما في السماوات والأرض قل لله كتب على نفسه الرحمة ليجمعنكم إلى يوم القيامة لا ريب فيه الذين خسروا أنفسهم فهم لا يؤمنون قُل لِّمَن مَّا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ قُل لِّلّهِ كَتَبَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ الرَّحْمَةَ لَيَجْمَعَنَّكُمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لاَ رَيْبَ فِيهِ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | آپ (ان سے سوال) فرمائیں کہ آسمانوں اور زمین میں جو کچھ ہے کس کا ہے؟ (پھر یہ بھی) فرما دیں کہ اﷲ ہی کا ہے، اس نے اپنی ذات پر رحمت لازم فرمالی ہے، وہ تمہیں روزِ قیامت جس میں کوئی شک نہیں ضرور جمع فرمائے گا، جنہوں نے اپنی جانوں کو (دائمی) خسارے میں ڈال دیا ہے سو وہ ایمان نہیں لائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "To whom belongeth all that is in the heavens and on earth?" Say: "To Allah. He hath inscribed for Himself (the rule of) Mercy. That He will gather you together for the Day of Judgment, there is no doubt whatever. It is they who have lost their own souls, that will not believe.

| Tahir ul Qadri | فرما دیجئے کہ بیشک میں (تو) بڑے عذاب کے دن سے ڈرتا ہوں، اگر میں اپنے رب کی نافرمانی کروں (سو یہ کیسے ممکن ہے؟) | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "I would, if I disobeyed my Lord, indeed have fear of the penalty of a Mighty Day.

| Tahir ul Qadri | (کہا جائے گا: ہاں) یہ وہی فیصلہ کا دن ہے جسے تم جھٹلایا کرتے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!"

| 20. [37:144] | Lalabitha fee batnihi ilayawmi yubAAathoona | للبث في بطنه إلى يوم يبعثون لَلَبِثَ فِي بَطْنِهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | تو اس (مچھلی) کے پیٹ میں اُس دن تک رہتے جب لوگ (قبروں سے) اٹھائے جائیں گے | ||||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور وہی (اﷲ) ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو حق (پر مبنی تدبیر) کے ساتھ پیدا فرمایا ہے اور جس دن وہ فرمائے گا: ہوجا، تو وہ (روزِ محشر بپا) ہو جائے گا۔ اس کا فرمان حق ہے، اور اس دن اسی کی بادشاہی ہوگی جب (اسرافیل کے ذریعے صور میں پھونک ماری جائے گے، (وہی) ہر پوشیدہ اور ظاہر کا جاننے والا ہے، اور وہی بڑا حکمت والا خبردار ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | It is He who created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions): the day He saith, "Be," behold! it is. His word is the truth. His will be the dominion the day the trumpet will be blown. He knoweth the unseen as well as that which is open. For He is the Wise, well acquainted (with all things).

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور وہی ہے جس نے برداشتہ اور غیر برداشتہ (یعنی بیلوں کے ذریعے اوپر چڑھائے گئے اور بغیر اوپر چڑھائے گئے) باغات پیدا فرمائے اور کھجور (کے درخت) اور زراعت جس کے پھل گوناگوں ہیں اور زیتون اور انار (جو شکل میں) ایک دوسرے سے ملتے جلتے ہیں اور (ذائقہ میں) جداگانہ ہیں (بھی پیدا کئے)۔ جب (یہ درخت) پھل لائیں تو تم ان کے پھل کھایا (بھی) کرو اور اس (کھیتی اور پھل) کے کٹنے کے دن اس کا (اﷲ کی طرف سے مقرر کردہ) حق (بھی) ادا کر دیا کرو اور فضول خرچی نہ کیا کرو، بیشک وہ بے جا خرچ کرنے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | It is He Who produceth gardens, with trellises and without, and dates, and tilth with produce of all kinds, and olives and pomegranates, similar (in kind) and different (in variety): eat of their fruit in their season, but render the dues that are proper on the day that the harvest is gathered. But waste not by excess: for Allah loveth not the wasters.

| Yousuf Ali | In the end will ye (all), on the Day of Judgment, settle your disputes in the presence of your Lord.

| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ فقط اسی انتظار میں ہیں کہ ان کے پاس (عذاب کے) فرشتے آپہنچیں یا آپ کا رب (خود) آجائے یا آپ کے رب کی کچھ (مخصوص) نشانیاں (عیاناً) آجائیں۔ (انہیں بتا دیجئے کہ) جس دن آپ کے رب کی بعض نشانیاں (یوں ظاہراً) آپہنچیں گی (تو اس وقت) کسی (ایسے) شخص کا ایمان اسے فائدہ نہیں پہنچائے گا جو پہلے سے ایمان نہیں لایا تھا یا اس نے اپنے ایمان (کی حالت) میں کوئی نیکی نہیں کمائی تھی، فرما دیجئے: تم انتظار کرو ہم (بھی) منتظر ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Are they waiting to see if the angels come to them, or thy Lord (Himself), or certain of the signs of thy Lord! the day that certain of the signs of thy Lord do come, no good will it do to a soul to believe in them then if it believed not before nor earned righteousness through its faith. Say: "Wait ye: we too are waiting."

| Tahir ul Qadri | فرما دیجئے: اﷲ کی اس زینت (و آرائش) کو کس نے حرام کیا ہے جو اس نے اپنے بندوں کے لئے پیدا فرمائی ہے اور کھانے کی پاک ستھری چیزوں کو (بھی کس نے حرام کیا ہے)؟ فرما دیجئے: یہ (سب نعمتیں جو) اہلِ ایمان کی دنیا کی زندگی میں (بالعموم روا) ہیں قیامت کے دن بالخصوص (انہی کے لئے) ہوں گی۔ اس طرح ہم جاننے والوں کے لئے آیتیں تفصیل سے بیان کرتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: Who hath forbidden the beautiful (gifts) of Allah, which He hath produced for His servants, and the things, clean and pure, (which He hath provided) for sustenance? Say: They are, in the life of this world, for those who believe, (and) purely for them on the Day of Judgment. Thus do We explain the signs in detail for those who understand.
