| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [2:223] | Nisaokum harthun lakum fa/tooharthakum anna shi/tum waqaddimoo li-anfusikum waittaqooAllaha waiAAlamoo annakum mulaqoohuwabashshiri almu/mineena |  نساؤكم حرث لكم فأتوا حرثكم أنى شئتم وقدموا لأنفسكم واتقوا الله واعلموا أنكم ملاقوه وبشر المؤمنيننِسَآؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَّكُمْ فَأْتُواْ حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ وَقَدِّمُواْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّكُم مُّلاَقُوهُ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | تمہاری عورتیں تمہاری کھیتیاں ہیں پس تم اپنی کھیتیوں میں جیسے چاہو آؤ، اور اپنے لئے آئندہ کا کچھ سامان کرلو، اور اﷲ کا تقوٰی اختیار کرو اور جان لو کہ تم اس کے حضور پیش ہونے والے ہو، اور (اے حبیب!) آپ اہلِ ایمان کو خوشخبری سنادیں (کہ اﷲ کے حضور ان کی پیشی بہتر رہے گی) | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will; but do some good act for your souls beforehand; and fear Allah. And know that ye are to meet Him (in the Hereafter), and give (these) good tidings to those who believe.

[3:28] | La yattakhithi almu/minoonaalkafireena awliyaa min dooni almu/mineena wamanyafAAal thalika falaysa mina Allahi fee shay-in illaan tattaqoo minhum tuqatan wayuhaththirukumuAllahu nafsahu wa-ila Allahi almaseeru | لا يتخذ المؤمنون الكافرين أولياء من دون المؤمنين ومن يفعل ذلك فليس من الله في شيء إلا أن تتقوا منهم تقاة ويحذركم الله نفسه وإلى الله المصير لاَّ يَتَّخِذِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِن دُوْنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ اللّهِ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلاَّ أَن تَتَّقُواْ مِنْهُمْ تُقَاةً وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللّهُ نَفْسَهُ وَإِلَى اللّهِ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | مسلمانوں کو چاہئے کہ اہلِ ایمان کو چھوڑ کر کافروں کو دوست نہ بنائیں اور جو کوئی ایسا کرے گا اس کے لئے اﷲ (کی دوستی میں) سے کچھ نہیں ہوگا سوائے اس کے کہ تم ان (کے شر) سے بچنا چاہو، اور اﷲ تمہیں اپنی ذات (کے غضب) سے ڈراتا ہے، اور اﷲ ہی کی طرف لوٹ کر جانا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to Allah.

[3:68] | Inna awla alnnasibi-ibraheema lallatheena ittabaAAoohu wahathaalnnabiyyu waallatheena amanoo waAllahuwaliyyu almu/mineena | إن أولى الناس بإبراهيم للذين اتبعوه وهذا النبي والذين آمنوا والله ولي المؤمنين إِنَّ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِإِبْرَاهِيمَ لَلَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ وَهَـذَا النَّبِيُّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَاللّهُ وَلِيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک سب لوگوں سے بڑھ کر ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کے قریب (اور حق دار) تو وہی لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے ان (کے دین) کی پیروی کی ہے اور (وہ) یہی نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اور (ان پر) ایمان لانے والے ہیں، اور اﷲ ایمان والوں کا مددگار ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Without doubt, among men, the nearest of kin to Abraham, are those who follow him, as are also this Prophet and those who believe: And Allah is the Protector of those who have faith.

| 4. [21:88] | Faistajabna lahu wanajjaynahumina alghammi wakathalika nunjee almu/mineena | فاستجبنا له ونجيناه من الغم وكذلك ننجي المؤمنين فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ وَكَذَلِكَ نُنجِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پس ہم نے ان کی دعا قبول فرما لی اور ہم نے انہیں غم سے نجات بخشی، اور اسی طرح ہم مومنوں کو نجات دیا کرتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | So We listened to him: and delivered him from distress: and thus do We deliver those who have faith.

| 5. [26:102] | Falaw anna lana karratan fanakoonamina almu/mineena | فلو أن لنا كرة فنكون من المؤمنين فَلَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | سو کاش ہمیں ایک بار (دنیا میں) پلٹنا (نصیب) ہو جاتا تو ہم مومن ہوجاتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "'Now if we only had a chance of return we shall truly be of those who believe!'"

| 6. [26:114] | Wama ana bitaridialmu/mineena | وما أنا بطارد المؤمنين وَمَا أَنَا بِطَارِدِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور میں مومنوں کو دھتکارنے والا نہیں ہوں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "I am not one to drive away those who believe.

| 7. [26:215] | Waikhfid janahakalimani ittabaAAaka mina almu/mineena | واخفض جناحك لمن اتبعك من المؤمنين وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور آپ اپنا بازوئے (رحمت و شفقت) ان مومنوں کے لئے بچھا دیجئے جنہوں نے آپ کی پیروی اختیار کر لی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And lower thy wing to the Believers who follow thee.

| 8. [3:121] | Wa-ith ghadawta min ahlika tubawwi-oalmu/mineena maqaAAida lilqitali waAllahusameeAAun AAaleemun | وإذ غدوت من أهلك تبوئ المؤمنين مقاعد للقتال والله سميع عليم وَإِذْ غَدَوْتَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ تُبَوِّىءُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَقَاعِدَ لِلْقِتَالِ وَاللّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (وہ وقت یاد کیجئے) جب آپ صبح سویرے اپنے درِ دولت سے روانہ ہو کر مسلمانوں کو (غزوۂ احد کے موقع پر) جنگ کے لئے مورچوں پر ٹھہرا رہے تھے، اور اللہ خوب سننے والا جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Remember that morning Thou didst leave Thy household (early) to post the faithful at their stations for battle: And Allah heareth and knoweth all things:

[3:152] | Walaqad sadaqakumu AllahuwaAAdahu ith tahussoonahum bi-ithnihi hattaitha fashiltum watanazaAAtum fee al-amri waAAasaytummin baAAdi ma arakum ma tuhibboonaminkum man yureedu alddunya waminkum man yureedual-akhirata thumma sarafakum AAanhum liyabtaliyakumwalaqad AAafa AAankum waAllahu thoofadlin AAala almu/mineena | ولقد صدقكم الله وعده إذ تحسونهم بإذنه حتى إذا فشلتم وتنازعتم في الأمر وعصيتم من بعد ما أراكم ما تحبون منكم من يريد الدنيا ومنكم من يريد الآخرة ثم صرفكم عنهم ليبتليكم ولقد عفا عنكم والله ذو فضل على المؤمنين وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ اللّهُ وَعْدَهُ إِذْ تَحُسُّونَهُم بِإِذْنِهِ حَتَّى إِذَا فَشِلْتُمْ وَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ وَعَصَيْتُم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا أَرَاكُم مَّا تُحِبُّونَ مِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ الدُّنْيَا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ الْآخِرَةَ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنكُمْ وَاللّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بیشک اللہ نے تمہیں اپنا وعدہ سچ کر دکھایا جب تم اس کے حکم سے انہیں قتل کر رہے تھے، یہاں تک کہ تم نے بزدلی کی اور (رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے) حکم کے بارے میں جھگڑنے لگے اور تم نے اس کے بعد (ان کی) نافرمانی کی جب کہ اللہ نے تمہیں وہ (فتح) دکھا دی تھی جو تم چاہتے تھے، تم میں سے کوئی دنیا کا خواہش مند تھا اور تم میں سے کوئی آخرت کا طلب گار تھا، پھر اس نے تمہیں ان سے (مغلوب کر کے) پھیر دیا تاکہ وہ تمہیں آزمائے، (بعد ازاں) اس نے تمہیں معاف کر دیا، اور اللہ اہلِ ایمان پر بڑے فضل والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Allah did indeed fulfil His promise to you when ye with His permission Were about to annihilate your enemy,-until ye flinched and fell to disputing about the order, and disobeyed it after He brought you in sight (of the booty) which ye covet. Among you are some that hanker after this world and some that desire the Hereafter. Then did He divert you from your foes in order to test you but He forgave you: For Allah is full of grace to those who believe.

[3:164] | Laqad manna Allahu AAalaalmu/mineena ith baAAatha feehim rasoolan min anfusihimyatloo AAalayhim ayatihi wayuzakkeehimwayuAAallimuhumu alkitaba waalhikmata wa-inkanoo min qablu lafee dalalin mubeenin | لقد من الله على المؤمنين إذ بعث فيهم رسولا من أنفسهم يتلو عليهم آياته ويزكيهم ويعلمهم الكتاب والحكمة وإن كانوا من قبل لفي ضلال مبين لَقَدْ مَنَّ اللّهُ عَلَى الْمُؤمِنِينَ إِذْ بَعَثَ فِيهِمْ رَسُولاً مِّنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ يَتْلُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِهِ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَإِن كَانُواْ مِن قَبْلُ لَفِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک اللہ نے مسلمانوں پر بڑا احسان فرمایا کہ ان میں انہی میں سے (عظمت والا) رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) بھیجا جو ان پر اس کی آیتیں پڑھتا اور انہیں پاک کرتا ہے اور انہیں کتاب و حکمت کی تعلیم دیتا ہے، اگرچہ وہ لوگ اس سے پہلے کھلی گمراہی میں تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Allah did confer a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a messenger from among themselves, rehearsing unto them the Signs of Allah, sanctifying them, and instructing them in Scripture and Wisdom, while, before that, they had been in manifest error.

| 11. [33:47] | Wabashshiri almu/mineena bi-anna lahum minaAllahi fadlan kabeeran | وبشر المؤمنين بأن لهم من الله فضلا كبيرا وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ فَضْلًا كَبِيرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اہلِ ایمان کو اس بات کی بشارت دے دیں کہ ان کے لئے اللہ کا بڑا فضل ہے (کہ وہ اس خاتم الانبیاء کی نسبتِ غلامی میں ہیں) | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Then give the Glad Tidings to the Believers, that they shall have from Allah a very great Bounty.

| 12. [3:166] | Wama asabakum yawma iltaqaaljamAAani fabi-ithni Allahi waliyaAAlamaalmu/mineena | وما أصابكم يوم التقى الجمعان فبإذن الله وليعلم المؤمنين وَمَا أَصَابَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ فَبِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اُس دن جو تکلیف تمہیں پہنچی جب دونوں لشکر باہم مقابل ہو گئے تھے سو وہ اللہ کے حکم (ہی) سے تھے اور یہ اس لئے کہ اللہ ایمان والوں کی پہچان کرا دے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | What ye suffered on the day the two armies Met, was with the leave of Allah, in order that He might test the believers,-

| 13. [3:171] | Yastabshiroona biniAAmatin mina Allahiwafadlin waanna Allaha la yudeeAAuajra almu/mineena | يستبشرون بنعمة من الله وفضل وأن الله لا يضيع أجر المؤمنين يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِنِعْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللّهِ وَفَضْلٍ وَأَنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ اللہ کی (تجلیّاتِ قُرب کی) نعمت اور (لذّاتِ وصال کے) فضل سے مسرور رہتے ہیں اور اس پر (بھی) کہ اللہ ایمان والوں کا اجر ضائع نہیں فرماتا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They glory in the Grace and the bounty from Allah, and in the fact that Allah suffereth not the reward of the Faithful to be lost (in the least).

[3:179] | Ma kana Allahu liyatharaalmu/mineena AAala ma antum AAalayhi hattayameeza alkhabeetha mina alttayyibi wama kanaAllahu liyutliAAakum AAala alghaybi walakinnaAllaha yajtabee min rusulihi man yashao faaminoobiAllahi warusulihi wa-in tu/minoo watattaqoofalakum ajrun AAatheemun | ما كان الله ليذر المؤمنين على ما أنتم عليه حتى يميز الخبيث من الطيب وما كان الله ليطلعكم على الغيب ولكن الله يجتبي من رسله من يشاء فآمنوا بالله ورسله وإن تؤمنوا وتتقوا فلكم أجر عظيم مَّا كَانَ اللّهُ لِيَذَرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَى مَآ أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَمِيزَ الْخَبِيثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِ وَمَا كَانَ اللّهُ لِيُطْلِعَكُمْ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ وَلَكِنَّ اللّهَ يَجْتَبِي مِن رُّسُلِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ فَآمِنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَإِن تُؤْمِنُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ فَلَكُمْ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اللہ مسلمانوں کو ہرگز اس حال پر نہیں چھوڑے گا جس پر تم (اس وقت) ہو جب تک وہ ناپاک کو پاک سے جدا نہ کر دے، اور اللہ کی یہ شان نہیں کہ (اے عامۃ الناس!) تمہیں غیب پر مطلع فرما دے لیکن اللہ اپنے رسولوں سے جسے چاہے (غیب کے علم کے لئے) چن لیتا ہے، سو تم اللہ اور اس کے رسولوں پر ایمان لاؤ، اور اگر تم ایمان لے آؤ اور تقویٰ اختیار کرو تو تمہارے لئے بڑا ثواب ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Allah will not leave the believers in the state in which ye are now, until He separates what is evil from what is good nor will He disclose to you the secrets of the Unseen. But He chooses of His Messengers (For the purpose) whom He pleases. So believe in Allah. And His messengers: And if ye believe and do right, ye have a reward without measure.

| Yousuf Ali | For they were two of our believing Servants.

| 19. [51:35] | Faakhrajna man kana feehamina almu/mineena | فأخرجنا من كان فيها من المؤمنين فَأَخْرَجْنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر ہم نے ہر اُس شخص کو (قومِ لُوط کی بستی سے) باہر نکال دیا جو اس میں اہلِ ایمان میں سے تھا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Then We evacuated those of the Believers who were there,

[4:84] | Faqatil fee sabeeli Allahi latukallafu illa nafsaka waharridialmu/mineena AAasa Allahu an yakuffa ba/sa allatheenakafaroo waAllahu ashaddu ba/san waashaddu tankeelan | فقاتل في سبيل الله لا تكلف إلا نفسك وحرض المؤمنين عسى الله أن يكف بأس الذين كفروا والله أشد بأسا وأشد تنكيلا فَقَاتِلْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ لاَ تُكَلَّفُ إِلاَّ نَفْسَكَ وَحَرِّضِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَسَى اللّهُ أَن يَكُفَّ بَأْسَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَاللّهُ أَشَدُّ بَأْسًا وَأَشَدُّ تَنكِيلاً | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پس (اے محبوب!) آپ اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کیجئے، آپ کو اپنی جان کے سوا (کسی اور کے لئے) ذمہ دار نہیں ٹھہرایا جائے گا اور آپ مسلمانوں کو (جہاد کے لئے) اُبھاریں، عجب نہیں کہ اللہ کافروں کا جنگی زور توڑ دے، اور اللہ گرفت میں (بھی) بہت سخت ہے اور سزا دینے میں (بھی) بہت سخت | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Then fight in Allah's cause - Thou art held responsible only for thyself - and rouse the believers. It may be that Allah will restrain the fury of the Unbelievers; for Allah is the strongest in might and in punishment.

[4:95] | La yastawee alqaAAidoona minaalmu/mineena ghayru olee alddarari waalmujahidoonafee sabeeli Allahi bi-amwalihim waanfusihim faddalaAllahu almujahideena bi-amwalihimwaanfusihim AAala alqaAAideena darajatan wakullanwaAAada Allahu alhusna wafaddala Allahualmujahideena AAala alqaAAideena ajran AAatheeman | لا يستوي القاعدون من المؤمنين غير أولي الضرر والمجاهدون في سبيل الله بأموالهم وأنفسهم فضل الله المجاهدين بأموالهم وأنفسهم على القاعدين درجة وكلا وعد الله الحسنى وفضل الله المجاهدين على القاعدين أجرا عظيما لاَّ يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ غَيْرُ أُوْلِي الضَّرَرِ وَالْمُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فَضَّلَ اللّهُ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِينَ دَرَجَةً وَكُـلاًّ وَعَدَ اللّهُ الْحُسْنَى وَفَضَّلَ اللّهُ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِينَ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | مسلمانوں میں سے وہ لوگ جو (جہاد سے جی چرا کر) بغیر کسی (عذر) تکلیف کے (گھروں میں) بیٹھ رہنے والے ہیں اور وہ لوگ جو اللہ کی راہ میں اپنے مالوں اور اپنی جانوں سے جہاد کرنے والے ہیں (یہ دونوں درجہ و ثواب میں) برابر نہیں ہوسکتے۔ اللہ نے اپنے مالوں اور اپنی جانوں سے جہاد کرنے والوں کو بیٹھ رہنے والوں پر مرتبہ میں فضیلت بخشی ہے اوراللہ نے سب (ایمان والوں) سے وعدہ (تو) بھلائی کا (ہی) فرمایا ہے، اور اللہ نے جہاد کرنے والوں کو (بہر طور) بیٹھ رہنے والوں پر زبردست اجر (و ثواب) کی فضیلت دی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward,-

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور آپ نصیحت کرتے رہیں کہ بیشک نصیحت مومنوں کو فائدہ دیتی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers.

[4:103] | Fa-itha qadaytumu alssalatafaothkuroo Allaha qiyaman waquAAoodanwaAAala junoobikum fa-itha itma/nantumfaaqeemoo alssalata inna alssalatakanat AAala almu/mineena kitaban mawqootan | فإذا قضيتم الصلاة فاذكروا الله قياما وقعودا وعلى جنوبكم فإذا اطمأننتم فأقيموا الصلاة إن الصلاة كانت على المؤمنين كتابا موقوتا فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُمُ الصَّلاَةَ فَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَى جُنُوبِكُمْ فَإِذَا اطْمَأْنَنتُمْ فَأَقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ إِنَّ الصَّلاَةَ كَانَتْ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كِتَابًا مَّوْقُوتًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر (اے مسلمانو!) جب تم نماز ادا کر چکو تو اللہ کو کھڑے اور بیٹھے اور اپنے پہلوؤں پر (لیٹے ہر حال میں) یاد کرتے رہو، پھر جب تم (حالتِ خوف سے نکل کر) اطمینان پالو تو نماز کو (حسبِ دستور) قائم کرو۔ بیشک نماز مومنوں پر مقررہ وقت کے حساب سے فرض ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | When ye pass (Congregational) prayers, celebrate Allah's praises, standing, sitting down, or lying down on your sides; but when ye are free from danger, set up Regular Prayers: For such prayers are enjoined on believers at stated times.

[4:115] | Waman yushaqiqi alrrasoolamin baAAdi ma tabayyana lahu alhuda wayattabiAAghayra sabeeli almu/mineena nuwallihi ma tawallawanuslihi jahannama wasaat maseeran | ومن يشاقق الرسول من بعد ما تبين له الهدى ويتبع غير سبيل المؤمنين نوله ما تولى ونصله جهنم وساءت مصيرا وَمَن يُشَاقِقِ الرَّسُولَ مِن بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ الْهُدَى وَيَتَّبِعْ غَيْرَ سَبِيلِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ نُوَلِّهِ مَا تَوَلَّى وَنُصْلِهِ جَهَنَّمَ وَسَاءَتْ مَصِيرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جو شخص رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی مخالفت کرے اس کے بعد کہ اس پر ہدایت کی راہ واضح ہو چکی اور مسلمانوں کی راہ سے جدا راہ کی پیروی کرے تو ہم اسے اسی (گمراہی) کی طرف پھیرے رکھیں گے جدھر وہ (خود) پھر گیا ہے اور (بالآخر) اسے دوزخ میں ڈالیں گے، اور وہ بہت ہی برا ٹھکانا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | If anyone contends with the Messenger even after guidance has been plainly conveyed to him, and follows a path other than that becoming to men of Faith, We shall leave him in the path he has chosen, and land him in Hell,- what an evil refuge!

[4:139] | Allatheena yattakhithoona alkafireenaawliyaa min dooni almu/mineena ayabtaghoona AAindahumualAAizzata fa-inna alAAizzata lillahi jameeAAan | الذين يتخذون الكافرين أولياء من دون المؤمنين أيبتغون عندهم العزة فإن العزة لله جميعا الَّذِينَ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِن دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَيَبْتَغُونَ عِندَهُمُ الْعِزَّةَ فَإِنَّ العِزَّةَ لِلّهِ جَمِيعًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (یہ) ایسے لوگ (ہیں) جو مسلمانوں کی بجائے کافروں کو دوست بناتے ہیں، کیا یہ ان کے پاس عزت تلاش کرتے ہیں؟ پس عزت تو ساری اللہ (تعالٰی) کے لئے ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Yea, to those who take for friends unbelievers rather than believers: is it honour they seek among them? Nay,- all honour is with Allah.

[4:141] | Allatheena yatarabbasoonabikum fa-in kana lakum fathun mina Allahi qalooalam nakun maAAakum wa-in kana lilkafireena naseebunqaloo alam nastahwith AAalaykum wanamnaAAkummina almu/mineena faAllahu yahkumu baynakumyawma alqiyamati walan yajAAala Allahu lilkafireenaAAala almu/mineena sabeelan | الذين يتربصون بكم فإن كان لكم فتح من الله قالوا ألم نكن معكم وإن كان للكافرين نصيب قالوا ألم نستحوذ عليكم ونمنعكم من المؤمنين فالله يحكم بينكم يوم القيامة ولن يجعل الله للكافرين على المؤمنين سبيلا الَّذِينَ يَتَرَبَّصُونَ بِكُمْ فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ فَتْحٌ مِّنَ اللّهِ قَالُواْ أَلَمْ نَكُن مَّعَكُمْ وَإِن كَانَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ نَصِيبٌ قَالُواْ أَلَمْ نَسْتَحْوِذْ عَلَيْكُمْ وَنَمْنَعْكُم مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَاللّهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَن يَجْعَلَ اللّهُ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَبِيلاً | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ (منافق) جو تمہاری (فتح و شکست کی) تاک میں رہتے ہیں، پھر اگر تمہیں اللہ کی طرف سے فتح نصیب ہو جائے تو کہتے ہیں: کیا ہم تمہارے ساتھ نہ تھے؟ اور اگر کافروں کو (ظاہری فتح میں سے) کچھ حصہ مل گیا تو (ان سے) کہتے ہیں: کیا ہم تم پر غالب نہیں ہو گئے تھے اور (اس کے باوجود) کیا ہم نے تمہیں مسلمانوں (کے ہاتھوں نقصان) سے نہیں بچایا؟ پس اللہ تمہارے درمیان قیامت کے دن فیصلہ فرمائے گا، اور اللہ کافروں کو مسلمانوں پر (غلبہ پانے کی) ہرگز کوئی راہ نہ دے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (These are) the ones who wait and watch about you: if ye do gain a victory from Allah, they say: "Were we not with you?"- but if the unbelievers gain a success, they say (to them): "Did we not gain an advantage over you, and did we not guard you from the believers?" but Allah will judge betwixt you on the Day of Judgment. And never will Allah grant to the unbelievers a way (to triumphs) over the believers.

[4:144] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tattakhithoo alkafireena awliyaamin dooni almu/mineena atureedoona an tajAAaloo lillahiAAalaykum sultanan mubeenan | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تتخذوا الكافرين أولياء من دون المؤمنين أتريدون أن تجعلوا لله عليكم سلطانا مبينا يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِن دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَتُرِيدُونَ أَن تَجْعَلُواْ لِلّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ سُلْطَانًا مُّبِينًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ایمان والو! مسلمانوں کے سوا کافروں کو دوست نہ بناؤ، کیا تم چاہتے ہو کہ (نافرمانوں کی دوستی کے ذریعے) اپنے خلاف اللہ کی صریح حجت قائم کر لو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O ye who believe! Take not for friends unbelievers rather than believers: Do ye wish to offer Allah an open proof against yourselves?

[4:146] | Illa allatheena taboowaaslahoo waiAAtasamoo biAllahiwaakhlasoo deenahum lillahi faola-ika maAAaalmu/mineena wasawfa yu/ti Allahu almu/mineena ajran AAatheeman | إلا الذين تابوا وأصلحوا واعتصموا بالله وأخلصوا دينهم لله فأولئك مع المؤمنين وسوف يؤت الله المؤمنين أجرا عظيما إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ تَابُواْ وَأَصْلَحُواْ وَاعْتَصَمُواْ بِاللّهِ وَأَخْلَصُواْ دِينَهُمْ لِلّهِ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ مَعَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَسَوْفَ يُؤْتِ اللّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | مگر وہ لوگ جنہوں نے توبہ کر لی وہ سنور گئے اورانہوں نے اللہ سے مضبوط تعلق جوڑ لیا اور انہوں نے اپنا دین اللہ کے لئے خالص کر لیا تو یہ مؤمنوں کی سنگت میں ہوں گے اور عنقریب اللہ مومنوں کو عظیم اجر عطا فرمائے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Except for those who repent, mend (their lives) hold fast to Allah, and purify their religion as in Allah's sight: if so they will be (numbered) with the believers. And soon will Allah grant to the believers a reward of immense value.

[5:54] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooman yartadda minkum AAan deenihi fasawfa ya/tee Allahubiqawmin yuhibbuhum wayuhibboonahu athillatinAAala almu/mineena aAAizzatin AAala alkafireenayujahidoona fee sabeeli Allahi wala yakhafoonalawmata la-imin thalika fadlu Allahiyu/teehi man yashao waAllahu wasiAAunAAaleemun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا من يرتد منكم عن دينه فسوف يأتي الله بقوم يحبهم ويحبونه أذلة على المؤمنين أعزة على الكافرين يجاهدون في سبيل الله ولا يخافون لومة لائم ذلك فضل الله يؤتيه من يشاء والله واسع عليم يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مَن يَرْتَدَّ مِنكُمْ عَن دِينِهِ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِي اللّهُ بِقَوْمٍ يُحِبُّهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَهُ أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ يُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَلاَ يَخَافُونَ لَوْمَةَ لاَئِمٍ ذَلِكَ فَضْلُ اللّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَاءُ وَاللّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ایمان والو! تم میں سے جو شخص اپنے دین سے پھر جائے گا تو عنقریب اﷲ (ان کی جگہ) ایسی قوم کو لائے گا جن سے وہ (خود) محبت فرماتا ہوگا اور وہ اس سے محبت کرتے ہوں گے وہ مومنوں پر نرم (اور) کافروں پر سخت ہوں گے اﷲ کی راہ میں (خوب) جہاد کریں گے اور کسی ملامت کرنے والے کی ملامت سے خوفزدہ نہیں ہوں گے۔ یہ (انقلابی کردار) اللہ کافضل ہے وہ جسے چاہتا ہے عطا فرماتا ہے اور اﷲ وسعت والا (ہے) خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O ye who believe! if any from among you turn back from his Faith, soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love as they will love Him,- lowly with the believers, mighty against the rejecters, fighting in the way of Allah, and never afraid of the reproaches of such as find fault. That is the grace of Allah, which He will bestow on whom He pleaseth. And Allah encompasseth all, and He knoweth all things.

[6:27] | Walaw tara ith wuqifoo AAalaalnnari faqaloo ya laytananuraddu wala nukaththiba bi-ayatirabbina wanakoona mina almu/mineena | ولو ترى إذ وقفوا على النار فقالوا يا ليتنا نرد ولا نكذب بآيات ربنا ونكون من المؤمنين وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذْ وُقِفُواْ عَلَى النَّارِ فَقَالُواْ يَا لَيْتَنَا نُرَدُّ وَلاَ نُكَذِّبَ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّنَا وَنَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اگر آپ (انہیں اس وقت) دیکھیں جب وہ آگ (کے کنارے) پر کھڑے کئے جائیں گے تو کہیں گے: اے کاش! ہم (دنیا میں) پلٹا دیئے جائیں تو (اب) ہم اپنے رب کی آیتوں کو (کبھی) نہیں جھٹلائیں گے اور ایمان والوں میں سے ہو جائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with the Fire! They will say: "Would that we were but sent back! Then would we not reject the signs of our Lord, but would be amongst those who believe!"
