| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [7:101] | Tilka alqura naqussu AAalaykamin anba-iha walaqad jaat-hum rusuluhum bialbayyinatifama kanoo liyu/minoo bima kaththaboomin qablu kathalika yatbaAAu Allahu AAalaquloobi alkafireena |  تلك القرى نقص عليك من أنبائها ولقد جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات فما كانوا ليؤمنوا بما كذبوا من قبل كذلك يطبع الله على قلوب الكافرينتِلْكَ الْقُرَى نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنبَآئِهَا وَلَقَدْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْ بِمَا كَذَّبُواْ مِن قَبْلُ كَذَلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | یہ وہ بستیاں ہیں جن کی خبریں ہم آپ کو سنا رہے ہیں، اور بیشک ان کے پاس ان کے رسول روشن نشانیاں لے کر آئے تو وہ (پھر بھی) اس قابل نہ ہوئے کہ اس پر ایمان لے آتے جسے وہ پہلے جھٹلا چکے تھے، اس طرح اللہ کافروں کے دلوں پر مہر لگا دیتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Such were the towns whose story We (thus) relate unto thee: There came indeed to them their messengers with clear (signs): But they would not believe what they had rejected before. Thus doth Allah seal up the hearts of those who reject faith.

| Tahir ul Qadri | اسی طرح اﷲ ان لوگوں کے دلوں پر مہر لگا دیتا ہے جو (حق کو) نہیں جانتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Thus does Allah seal up the hearts of those who understand not.

[40:35] | Allatheena yujadiloona fee ayatiAllahi bighayri sultanin atahum kaburamaqtan AAinda Allahi waAAinda allatheena amanookathalika yatbaAAu Allahu AAala kulliqalbi mutakabbirin jabbarin | الذين يجادلون في آيات الله بغير سلطان أتاهم كبر مقتا عند الله وعند الذين آمنوا كذلك يطبع الله على كل قلب متكبر جبار الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَانٍ أَتَاهُمْ كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ اللَّهِ وَعِندَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كَذَلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ قَلْبِ مُتَكَبِّرٍ جَبَّارٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جو لوگ اللہ کی آیتوں میں جھگڑا کرتے ہیں بغیر کسی دلیل کے جو ان کے پاس آئی ہو، (یہ جھگڑا کرنا) اللہ کے نزدیک اور ایمان والوں کے نزدیک سخت بیزاری (کی بات) ہے، اسی طرح اللہ ہر ایک مغرور (اور) سر کش کے دل پر مُہر لگا دیتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "(Such) as dispute about the Signs of Allah, without any authority that hath reached them, grievous and odious (is such conduct) in the sight of Allah and of the Believers. Thus doth Allah, seal up every heart - of arrogant and obstinate Transgressors."
