| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[9:19] | AjaAAaltum siqayata alhajjiwaAAimarata almasjidi alharami kaman amanabiAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiri wajahadafee sabeeli Allahi la yastawoona AAinda AllahiwaAllahu la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena |  أجعلتم سقاية الحاج وعمارة المسجد الحرام كمن آمن بالله واليوم الآخر وجاهد في سبيل الله لا يستوون عند الله والله لا يهدي القوم الظالمينأَجَعَلْتُمْ سِقَايَةَ الْحَاجِّ وَعِمَارَةَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ كَمَنْ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَجَاهَدَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ لاَ يَسْتَوُونَ عِندَ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا تم نے (محض) حاجیوں کو پانی پلانے اور مسجدِ حرام کی آبادی و مرمت کا بندوبست کرنے (کے عمل) کو اس شخص کے (اعمال) کے برابر قرار دے رکھا ہے جو اللہ اور یومِ آخرت پر ایمان لے آیا اور اس نے اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کیا، یہ لوگ اللہ کے حضور برابر نہیں ہو سکتے، اور اللہ ظالم قوم کو ہدایت نہیں فرماتا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Do ye make the giving of drink to pilgrims, or the maintenance of the Sacred Mosque, equal to (the pious service of) those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and strive with might and main in the cause of Allah? They are not comparable in the sight of Allah: and Allah guides not those who do wrong.

[16:75] | Daraba Allahu mathalan AAabdanmamlookan la yaqdiru AAala shay-in waman razaqnahuminna rizqan hasanan fahuwa yunfiqu minhu sirranwajahran hal yastawoona alhamdu lillahi balaktharuhum la yaAAlamoona | ضرب الله مثلا عبدا مملوكا لا يقدر على شيء ومن رزقناه منا رزقا حسنا فهو ينفق منه سرا وجهرا هل يستوون الحمد لله بل أكثرهم لا يعلمون ضَرَبَ اللّهُ مَثَلاً عَبْدًا مَّمْلُوكًا لاَّ يَقْدِرُ عَلَى شَيْءٍ وَمَن رَّزَقْنَاهُ مِنَّا رِزْقًا حَسَنًا فَهُوَ يُنفِقُ مِنْهُ سِرًّا وَجَهْرًا هَلْ يَسْتَوُونَ الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اللہ نے ایک مثال بیان فرمائی ہے (کہ) ایک غلام ہے (جو کسی کی) ملکیت میں ہے (خود) کسی چیز پر قدرت نہیں رکھتا اور (دوسرا) وہ شخص ہے جسے ہم نے اپنی طرف سے عمدہ روزی عطا فرمائی ہے سو وہ اس میں سے پوشیدہ اور ظاہر خرچ کرتا ہے، کیا وہ برابر ہو سکتے ہیں، سب تعریفیں اللہ کے لئے ہیں، بلکہ ان میں سے اکثر (بنیادی حقیقت کو بھی) نہیں جانتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Allah sets forth the Parable (of two men: one) a slave under the dominion of another; He has no power of any sort; and (the other) a man on whom We have bestowed goodly favours from Ourselves, and he spends thereof (freely), privately and publicly: are the two equal? (By no means;) praise be to Allah. But most of them understand not.

| Tahir ul Qadri | بھلا وہ شخص جو صاحبِ ایمان ہو اس کی مثل ہو سکتا ہے جو نافرمان ہو، (نہیں) یہ (دونوں) برابر نہیں ہو سکتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Is then the man who believes no better than the man who is rebellious and wicked? Not equal are they.
