| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [6:146] | WaAAala allatheena hadooharramna kulla thee thufurinwamina albaqari waalghanami harramnaAAalayhim shuhoomahuma illa ma hamalatthuhooruhuma awi alhawayaaw ma ikhtalata biAAathmin thalikajazaynahum bibaghyihim wa-inna lasadiqoona |  وعلى الذين هادوا حرمنا كل ذي ظفر ومن البقر والغنم حرمنا عليهم شحومهما إلا ما حملت ظهورهما أو الحوايا أو ما اختلط بعظم ذلك جزيناهم ببغيهم وإنا لصادقونوَعَلَى الَّذِينَ هَادُواْ حَرَّمْنَا كُلَّ ذِي ظُفُرٍ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ وَالْغَنَمِ حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ شُحُومَهُمَا إِلاَّ مَا حَمَلَتْ ظُهُورُهُمَا أَوِ الْحَوَايَا أَوْ مَا اخْتَلَطَ بِعَظْمٍ ذَلِكَ جَزَيْنَاهُم بِبَغْيِهِمْ وِإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یہودیوں پر ہم نے ہر ناخن والا (جانور) حرام کر دیا تھا اور گائے اور بکری میں سے ہم نے ان پر دونوں کی چربی حرام کر دی تھی سوائے اس (چربی) کے جو دونوں کی پیٹھ میں ہو یا اوجھڑی میں لگی ہو یا جو ہڈی کے ساتھ ملی ہو۔ یہ ہم نے ان کی سرکشی کے باعث انہیں سزا دی تھی اور یقینا ہم سچے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | For those who followed the Jewish Law, We forbade every (animal) with undivided hoof, and We forbade them that fat of the ox and the sheep, except what adheres to their backs or their entrails, or is mixed up with a bone: this in recompense for their wilful disobedience: for We are true (in Our ordinances).

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (اگر آپ کو اعتبار نہ آئے تو) اس بستی (والوں) سے پوچھ لیں جس میں ہم تھے اور اس قافلہ (والوں) سے (معلوم کر لیں) جس میں ہم آئے ہیں، اور بیشک ہم (اپنے قول میں) یقیناً سچے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "'Ask at the town where we have been and the caravan in which we returned, and (you will find) we are indeed telling the truth.'"

[27:49] | Qaloo taqasamoo biAllahilanubayyitannahu waahlahu thumma lanaqoolanna liwaliyyihi mashahidna mahlika ahlihi wa-inna lasadiqoona | قالوا تقاسموا بالله لنبيتنه وأهله ثم لنقولن لوليه ما شهدنا مهلك أهله وإنا لصادقون قَالُوا تَقَاسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُ وَأَهْلَهُ ثُمَّ لَنَقُولَنَّ لِوَلِيِّهِ مَا شَهِدْنَا مَهْلِكَ أَهْلِهِ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (ان سرغنوں نے) کہا: تم آپس میں اللہ کی قسم کھا کر عہد کرو کہ ہم ضرور رات کو صالح (علیہ السلام) اور اس کے گھر والوں پر قاتلانہ حملہ کریں گے پھر ان کے وارثوں سے کہہ دیں گے کہ ہم ان کی ہلاکت کے موقع پر حاضر ہی نہ تھے اور بیشک ہم سچے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They said: "Swear a mutual oath by Allah that we shall make a secret night attack on him and his people, and that we shall then say to his heir (when he seeks vengeance): 'We were not present at the slaughter of his people, and we are positively telling the truth.'"
