| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[6:111] | Walaw annana nazzalnailayhimu almala-ikata wakallamahumu almawta wahasharnaAAalayhim kulla shay-in qubulan ma kanoo liyu/minooilla an yashaa Allahu walakinnaaktharahum yajhaloona |  ولو أننا نزلنا إليهم الملائكة وكلمهم الموتى وحشرنا عليهم كل شيء قبلا ما كانوا ليؤمنوا إلا أن يشاء الله ولكن أكثرهم يجهلونوَلَوْ أَنَّنَا نَزَّلْنَا إِلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَآئِكَةَ وَكَلَّمَهُمُ الْمَوْتَى وَحَشَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ قُبُلاً مَّا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْ إِلاَّ أَن يَشَاءَ اللّهُ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَجْهَلُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اگر ہم ان کی طرف فرشتے اتار دیتے اور ان سے مُردے باتیں کرنے لگتے اور ہم ان پر ہر چیز (آنکھوں کے سامنے) گروہ در گروہ جمع کر دیتے وہ تب بھی ایمان نہ لاتے سوائے اس کے جو اﷲ چاہتا اور ان میں سے اکثر لوگ جہالت سے کام لیتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Even if We did send unto them angels, and the dead did speak unto them, and We gathered together all things before their very eyes, they are not the ones to believe, unless it is in Allah's plan. But most of them ignore (the truth).

[18:55] | Wama manaAAa alnnasa anyu/minoo ith jaahumu alhuda wayastaghfiroorabbahum illa an ta/tiyahum sunnatu al-awwaleena awya/tiyahumu alAAathabu qubulan | وما منع الناس أن يؤمنوا إذ جاءهم الهدى ويستغفروا ربهم إلا أن تأتيهم سنة الأولين أو يأتيهم العذاب قبلا وَمَا مَنَعَ النَّاسَ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا إِذْ جَاءَهُمُ الْهُدَى وَيَسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّهُمْ إِلاَّ أَن تَأْتِيَهُمْ سُنَّةُ الْأَوَّلِينَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ قُبُلاً | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور لوگوں کو جبکہ ان کے پاس ہدایت آچکی تھی کسی نے (اس بات سے) منع نہیں کیا تھا کہ وہ ایمان لائیں اور اپنے رب سے مغفرت طلب کریں سوائے اس (انتظار) کے کہ انہیں اگلے لوگوں کا طریقہ (ہلاکت) پیش آئے یا عذاب ان کے سامنے آجائے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And what is there to keep back men from believing, now that Guidance has come to them, nor from praying for forgiveness from their Lord, but that (they ask that) the ways of the ancients be repeated with them, or the Wrath be brought to them face to face?
