| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [4:126] | Walillahi ma fee alssamawatiwama fee al-ardi wakana Allahubikulli shay-in muheetan |  ولله ما في السماوات وما في الأرض وكان الله بكل شيء محيطاوَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَكَانَ اللّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُّحِيطًا | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (سب) اللہ ہی کا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے اور اللہ ہر چیز کا احاطہ فرمائے ہوئے ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But to Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth: And He it is that Encompasseth all things.

| 2. [43:5] | Afanadribu AAankumu alththikrasafhan an kuntum qawman musrifeena | أفنضرب عنكم الذكر صفحا أن كنتم قوما مسرفين أَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنكُمُ الذِّكْرَ صَفْحًا أَن كُنتُمْ قَوْمًا مُّسْرِفِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور کیا ہم اس نصیحت کو تم سے اِس بنا پر روک دیں کہ تم حد سے گزر جانے والی قوم ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Shall We then take away the Message from you and repel (you), for that ye are a people transgressing beyond bounds?

| 3. [43:7] | Wama ya/teehim min nabiyyin illakanoo bihi yastahzi-oona | وما يأتيهم من نبي إلا كانوا به يستهزئون وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن نَّبِيٍّ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُون | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور کوئی نبی اُن کے پاس نہیں آتا تھا مگر وہ اُس کا مذاق اڑایا کرتے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And never came there a prophet to them but they mocked him.

| 4. [43:25] | Faintaqamna minhum faonthurkayfa kana AAaqibatu almukaththibeena | فانتقمنا منهم فانظر كيف كان عاقبة المكذبين فَانتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | سو ہم نے اُن سے بدلہ لے لیا پس آپ دیکھئے کہ جھٹلانے والوں کا انجام کیسا ہوا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | So We exacted retribution from them: now see what was the end of those who rejected (Truth)!

[4:127] | Wayastaftoonaka fee alnnisa-iquli Allahu yufteekum feehinna wama yutlaAAalaykum fee alkitabi fee yatama alnnisa-iallatee la tu/toonahunna ma kutiba lahunnawatarghaboona an tankihoohunna waalmustadAAafeenamina alwildani waan taqoomoo lilyatama bialqistiwama tafAAaloo min khayrin fa-inna Allaha kanabihi AAaleeman | ويستفتونك في النساء قل الله يفتيكم فيهن وما يتلى عليكم في الكتاب في يتامى النساء اللاتي لا تؤتونهن ما كتب لهن وترغبون أن تنكحوهن والمستضعفين من الولدان وأن تقوموا لليتامى بالقسط وما تفعلوا من خير فإن الله كان به عليما وَيَسْتَفْتُونَكَ فِي النِّسَاءِ قُلِ اللّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِيهِنَّ وَمَا يُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الْكِتَابِ فِي يَتَامَى النِّسَاءِ الَّاتِي لاَ تُؤْتُونَهُنَّ مَا كُتِبَ لَهُنَّ وَتَرْغَبُونَ أَن تَنكِحُوهُنَّ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الْوِلْدَانِ وَأَن تَقُومُواْ لِلْيَتَامَى بِالْقِسْطِ وَمَا تَفْعَلُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ بِهِ عَلِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (اے پیغمبر!) لوگ آپ سے (یتیم) عورتوں کے بارے میں فتویٰ پوچھتے ہیں۔ آپ فرما دیں کہ اللہ تمہیں ان کے بارے میں حکم دیتا ہے اور جو حکم تم کو (پہلے سے) کتابِ مجید میں سنایا جا رہا ہے (وہ بھی) ان یتیم عورتوں ہی کے بارے میں ہے جنہیں تم وہ (حقوق) نہیں دیتے جو ان کے لئے مقرر کئے گئے ہیں اور چاہتے ہو کہ (ان کا مال قبضے میں لینے کی خاطر) ان کے ساتھ خود نکاح کر لو اور نیز بے بس بچوں کے بارے میں (بھی حکم) ہے کہ یتیموں کے معاملے میں انصاف پر قائم رہا کرو، اور تم جو بھلائی بھی کروگے تو بیشک اللہ اسے خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They ask thy instruction concerning the women say: Allah doth instruct you about them: And (remember) what hath been rehearsed unto you in the Book, concerning the orphans of women to whom ye give not the portions prescribed, and yet whom ye desire to marry, as also concerning the children who are weak and oppressed: that ye stand firm for justice to orphans. There is not a good deed which ye do, but Allah is well-acquainted therewith.

[4:128] | Wa-ini imraatun khafat min baAAlihanushoozan aw iAAradan fala junaha AAalayhimaan yusliha baynahuma sulhan waalssulhukhayrun waohdirati al-anfusu alshshuhhawa-in tuhsinoo watattaqoo fa-inna Allaha kanabima taAAmaloona khabeeran | وإن امرأة خافت من بعلها نشوزا أو إعراضا فلا جناح عليهما أن يصلحا بينهما صلحا والصلح خير وأحضرت الأنفس الشح وإن تحسنوا وتتقوا فإن الله كان بما تعملون خبيرا وَإِنِ امْرَأَةٌ خَافَتْ مِن بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزًا أَوْ إِعْرَاضًا فَلاَ جُنَاْحَ عَلَيْهِمَا أَن يُصْلِحَا بَيْنَهُمَا صُلْحًا وَالصُّلْحُ خَيْرٌ وَأُحْضِرَتِ الْأَنفُسُ الشُّحَّ وَإِن تُحْسِنُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اگر کوئی عورت اپنے شوہر کی جانب سے زیادتی یا بے رغبتی کا خوف رکھتی ہو تو دونوں (میاں بیوی) پر کوئی حرج نہیں کہ وہ آپس میں کسی مناسب بات پر صلح کر لیں، اور صلح (حقیقت میں) اچھی چیز ہے اور طبیعتوں میں (تھوڑا بہت) بخل (ضرور) رکھ دیا گیا ہے، اور اگر تم احسان کرو اور پرہیزگاری اختیار کرو تو بیشک اللہ ان کاموں سے جو تم کر رہے ہو (اچھی طرح) خبردار ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | If a wife fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part, there is no blame on them if they arrange an amicable settlement between themselves; and such settlement is best; even though men's souls are swayed by greed. But if ye do good and practise self-restraint, Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

| 7. [43:54] | Faistakhaffa qawmahu faataAAoohuinnahum kanoo qawman fasiqeena | فاستخف قومه فأطاعوه إنهم كانوا قوما فاسقين فَاسْتَخَفَّ قَوْمَهُ فَأَطَاعُوهُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پس اُس نے (اِن باتوں سے) اپنی قوم کو بے وقوف بنا لیا، سو اُن لوگوں نے اُس کا کہنا مان لیا، بیشک وہ لوگ ہی نافرمان قوم تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Thus did he make fools of his people, and they obeyed him: truly were they a people rebellious (against Allah).

[4:129] | Walan tastateeAAoo an taAAdiloobayna alnnisa-i walaw harastum falatameeloo kulla almayli fatatharooha kaalmuAAallaqatiwa-in tuslihoo watattaqoo fa-inna Allaha kanaghafooran raheeman | ولن تستطيعوا أن تعدلوا بين النساء ولو حرصتم فلا تميلوا كل الميل فتذروها كالمعلقة وإن تصلحوا وتتقوا فإن الله كان غفورا رحيما وَلَن تَسْتَطِيعُواْ أَن تَعْدِلُواْ بَيْنَ النِّسَاءِ وَلَوْ حَرَصْتُمْ فَلاَ تَمِيلُواْ كُلَّ الْمَيْلِ فَتَذَرُوهَا كَالْمُعَلَّقَةِ وَإِن تُصْلِحُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور تم ہرگز اس بات کی طاقت نہیں رکھتے کہ (ایک سے زائد) بیویوں کے درمیان (پورا پورا) عدل کر سکو اگرچہ تم کتنا بھی چاہو۔ پس (ایک کی طرف) پورے میلان طبع کے ساتھ (یوں) نہ جھک جاؤ کہ دوسری کو (درمیان میں) لٹکتی ہوئی چیز کی طرح چھوڑ دو۔ اور اگر تم اصلاح کر لو اور (حق تلفی و زیادتی سے) بچتے رہو تو اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا نہایت مہربان ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Ye are never able to be fair and just as between women, even if it is your ardent desire: But turn not away (from a woman) altogether, so as to leave her (as it were) hanging (in the air). If ye come to a friendly understanding, and practise self-restraint, Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

| 9. [4:130] | Wa-in yatafarraqa yughni Allahukullan min saAAatihi wakana Allahu wasiAAan hakeeman | وإن يتفرقا يغن الله كلا من سعته وكان الله واسعا حكيما وَإِن يَتَفَرَّقَا يُغْنِ اللّهُ كُلاًّ مِّن سَعَتِهِ وَكَانَ اللّهُ وَاسِعًا حَكِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اگر دونوں (میاں بیوی) جدا ہو جائیں تواللہ ہر ایک کو اپنی کشائش سے (ایک دوسرے سے) بے نیاز کر دے گا اور اللہ بڑی وسعت والا بڑی حکمت والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But if they disagree (and must part), Allah will provide abundance for all from His all-reaching bounty: for Allah is He that careth for all and is Wise.

[4:131] | Walillahi ma fee alssamawatiwama fee al-ardi walaqad wassaynaallatheena ootoo alkitaba min qablikum wa-iyyakumani ittaqoo Allaha wa-in takfuroo fa-inna lillahi mafee alssamawati wama fee al-ardiwakana Allahu ghaniyyan hameedan | ولله ما في السماوات وما في الأرض ولقد وصينا الذين أوتوا الكتاب من قبلكم وإياكم أن اتقوا الله وإن تكفروا فإن لله ما في السماوات وما في الأرض وكان الله غنيا حميدا وَلِلّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَقَدْ وَصَّيْنَا الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَإِيَّاكُمْ أَنِ اتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَإِن تَكْفُرُواْ فَإِنَّ لِلّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَكَانَ اللّهُ غَنِيًّا حَمِيدًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اللہ ہی کا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں اورجو کچھ زمین میں ہے۔ اور بیشک ہم نے ان لوگوں کو (بھی) جنہیں تم سے پہلے کتاب دی گئی حکم دیا ہے اور تمہیں (بھی) کہ اللہ سے ڈرتے رہا کرو۔ اور اگر تم نافرمانی کرو گے تو بیشک (سب کچھ) اللہ ہی کا ہے جو آسمانوں میں اورجو زمین میں ہے اوراللہ بے نیاز، ستودہ صفات ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | To Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth. Verily we have directed the People of the Book before you, and you (o Muslims) to fear Allah. But if ye deny Him, lo! unto Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth, and Allah is free of all wants, worthy of all praise.

| 11. [43:69] | Allatheena amanoo bi-ayatinawakanoo muslimeena | الذين آمنوا بآياتنا وكانوا مسلمين الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُوا مُسْلِمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (یہ) وہ لوگ ہیں جو ہماری آیتوں پر ایمان لائے اور ہمیشہ (ہمارے) تابعِ فرمان رہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Being) those who have believed in Our Signs and bowed (their wills to Ours) in Islam.

| 12. [43:72] | Watilka aljannatu allatee oorithtumoohabima kuntum taAAmaloona | وتلك الجنة التي أورثتموها بما كنتم تعملون وَتِلْكَ الْجَنَّةُ الَّتِي أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (اے پرہیزگارو!) یہ وہ جنت ہے جس کے تم مالک بنا دیئے گئے ہو، اُن (اعمال) کے صلہ میں جو تم انجام دیتے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Such will be the Garden of which ye are made heirs for your (good) deeds (in life).

| 13. [4:133] | In yasha/ yuthhibkum ayyuha alnnasuwaya/ti bi-akhareena wakana Allahu AAalathalika qadeeran | إن يشأ يذهبكم أيها الناس ويأت بآخرين وكان الله على ذلك قديرا إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ وَيَأْتِ بِآخَرِينَ وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ قَدِيرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے لوگو! اگر وہ چاہے تو تمہیں نابود کر دے اور (تمہاری جگہ) دوسروں کو لے آئے، اور اللہ اس پر بڑی قدرت والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | If it were His will, He could destroy you, o mankind, and create another race; for He hath power this to do.

[4:134] | Man kana yureedu thawaba alddunyafaAAinda Allahi thawabu alddunya waal-akhiratiwakana Allahu sameeAAan baseeran | من كان يريد ثواب الدنيا فعند الله ثواب الدنيا والآخرة وكان الله سميعا بصيرا مَّن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا فَعِندَ اللّهِ ثَوَابُ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَكَانَ اللّهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جو کوئی دنیا کا انعام چاہتا ہے تو اللہ کے پاس دنیا و آخرت (دونوں) کاانعام ہے، اور اللہ خوب سننے والا خوب دیکھنے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | If any one desires a reward in this life, in Allah's (gift) is the reward (both) of this life and of the hereafter: for Allah is He that heareth and seeth (all things).

[4:137] | Inna allatheena amanoo thummakafaroo thumma amanoo thumma kafaroo thumma izdadookufran lam yakuni Allahu liyaghfira lahum walaliyahdiyahum sabeelan | إن الذين آمنوا ثم كفروا ثم آمنوا ثم كفروا ثم ازدادوا كفرا لم يكن الله ليغفر لهم ولا ليهديهم سبيلا إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ ثُمَّ كَفَرُواْ ثُمَّ آمَنُواْ ثُمَّ كَفَرُواْ ثُمَّ ازْدَادُواْ كُفْرًا لَّمْ يَكُنِ اللّهُ لِيَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ وَلاَ لِيَهْدِيَهُمْ سَبِيلاً | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک جو لوگ ایمان لائے پھر کافر ہوگئے، پھر ایمان لائے پھر کافر ہوگئے، پھر کفر میں اوربڑھ گئے تواللہ ہرگز (یہ ارادہ فرمانے والا) نہیں کہ انہیں بخش دے اور نہ (یہ کہ) انہیں سیدھا راستہ دکھائے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those who believe, then reject faith, then believe (again) and (again) reject faith, and go on increasing in unbelief,- Allah will not forgive them nor guide them nor guide them on the way.

| 16. [4:147] | Ma yafAAalu Allahu biAAathabikumin shakartum waamantum wakana Allahu shakiranAAaleeman | ما يفعل الله بعذابكم إن شكرتم وآمنتم وكان الله شاكرا عليما مَّا يَفْعَلُ اللّهُ بِعَذَابِكُمْ إِن شَكَرْتُمْ وَآمَنتُمْ وَكَانَ اللّهُ شَاكِرًا عَلِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اللہ تمہیں عذاب دے کر کیا کرے گا اگر تم شکر گزار بن جاؤ اور ایمان لے آؤ، اور اللہ (ہر حق کا) قدر شناس ہے (ہر عمل کا) خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | What can Allah gain by your punishment, if ye are grateful and ye believe? Nay, it is Allah that recogniseth (all good), and knoweth all things.

| 17. [43:76] | Wama thalamnahumwalakin kanoo humu alththalimeena | وما ظلمناهم ولكن كانوا هم الظالمين وَمَا ظَلَمْنَاهُمْ وَلَكِن كَانُوا هُمُ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم نے اُن پر ظلم نہیں کیا لیکن وہ خود ہی ظلم کرنے والے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Nowise shall We be unjust to them: but it is they who have been unjust themselves.

| 18. [43:81] | Qul in kana lilrrahmaniwaladun faana awwalu alAAabideena | قل إن كان للرحمن ولد فأنا أول العابدين قُلْ إِن كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَنِ وَلَدٌ فَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْعَابِدِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | فرما دیجئے کہ اگر (بفرضِ محال) رحمان کے (ہاں) کوئی لڑکا ہوتا (یا اولاد ہوتی) تو میں سب سے پہلے (اس کی) عبادت کرنے والا ہوتا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "If (Allah) Most Gracious had a son, I would be the first to worship."

| 19. [44:3] | Inna anzalnahu fee laylatin mubarakatininna kunna munthireena | إنا أنزلناه في ليلة مباركة إنا كنا منذرين إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مُّبَارَكَةٍ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک ہم نے اسے ایک بابرکت رات میں اتارا ہے بیشک ہم ڈر سنانے والے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | We sent it down during a Blessed Night: for We (ever) wish to warn (against Evil).

[4:135] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanookoonoo qawwameena bialqisti shuhadaalillahi walaw AAala anfusikum awi alwalidayniwaal-aqrabeena in yakun ghaniyyan aw faqeeran faAllahuawla bihima fala tattabiAAoo alhawaan taAAdiloo wa-in talwoo aw tuAAridoo fa-inna Allahakana bima taAAmaloona khabeeran | يا أيها الذين آمنوا كونوا قوامين بالقسط شهداء لله ولو على أنفسكم أو الوالدين والأقربين إن يكن غنيا أو فقيرا فالله أولى بهما فلا تتبعوا الهوى أن تعدلوا وإن تلووا أو تعرضوا فإن الله كان بما تعملون خبيرا يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُونُواْ قَوَّامِينَ بِالْقِسْطِ شُهَدَاءَ لِلّهِ وَلَوْ عَلَى أَنفُسِكُمْ أَوِ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْأَقْرَبِينَ إِن يَكُنْ غَنِيًّا أَوْ فَقِيرًا فَاللّهُ أَوْلَى بِهِمَا فَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ الْهَوَى أَن تَعْدِلُواْ وَإِن تَلْوُواْ أَوْ تُعْرِضُواْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ایمان والو! تم انصاف پر مضبوطی کے ساتھ قائم رہنے والے (محض) اللہ کے لئے گواہی دینے والے ہو جاؤ خواہ (گواہی) خود تمہارے اپنے یا (تمہارے) والدین یا (تمہارے) رشتہ داروں کے ہی خلاف ہو، اگرچہ (جس کے خلاف گواہی ہو) مال دار ہے یا محتاج، اللہ ان دونوں کا (تم سے) زیادہ خیر خواہ ہے۔ سو تم خواہشِ نفس کی پیروی نہ کیا کرو کہ عدل سے ہٹ جاؤ (گے)، اور اگر تم (گواہی میں) پیچ دار بات کرو گے یا (حق سے) پہلو تہی کرو گے تو بیشک اللہ ان سب کاموں سے جو تم کر رہے ہو خبردار ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O ye who believe! stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest ye swerve, and if ye distort (justice) or decline to do justice, verily Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

| 21. [4:148] | La yuhibbu Allahualjahra bialssoo-i mina alqawli illa man thulimawakana Allahu sameeAAan AAaleeman | لا يحب الله الجهر بالسوء من القول إلا من ظلم وكان الله سميعا عليما لاَّ يُحِبُّ اللّهُ الْجَهْرَ بِالسُّوءِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ إِلاَّ مَن ظُلِمَ وَكَانَ اللّهُ سَمِيعًا عَلِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اﷲ کسی (کی) بری بات کا بآوازِ بلند (ظاہراً و علانیۃً) کہنا پسند نہیں فرماتا سوائے اس کے جس پر ظلم ہوا ہو (اسے ظالم کا ظلم آشکار کرنے کی اجازت ہے)، اور اﷲ خوب سننے والا جاننے والا ہے | ||||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | آسمانوں اور زمین کا اور جو کچھ اِن کے درمیان ہے (اُس کا) پروردگار ہے، بشرطیکہ تم یقین رکھنے والے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all between them, if ye (but) have an assured faith.

| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر نہ (تو) اُن پر آسمان اور زمین روئے اور نہ ہی انہیں مہلت دی گئی | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And neither heaven nor earth shed a tear over them: nor were they given a respite (again).

[4:141] | Allatheena yatarabbasoonabikum fa-in kana lakum fathun mina Allahi qalooalam nakun maAAakum wa-in kana lilkafireena naseebunqaloo alam nastahwith AAalaykum wanamnaAAkummina almu/mineena faAllahu yahkumu baynakumyawma alqiyamati walan yajAAala Allahu lilkafireenaAAala almu/mineena sabeelan | الذين يتربصون بكم فإن كان لكم فتح من الله قالوا ألم نكن معكم وإن كان للكافرين نصيب قالوا ألم نستحوذ عليكم ونمنعكم من المؤمنين فالله يحكم بينكم يوم القيامة ولن يجعل الله للكافرين على المؤمنين سبيلا الَّذِينَ يَتَرَبَّصُونَ بِكُمْ فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ فَتْحٌ مِّنَ اللّهِ قَالُواْ أَلَمْ نَكُن مَّعَكُمْ وَإِن كَانَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ نَصِيبٌ قَالُواْ أَلَمْ نَسْتَحْوِذْ عَلَيْكُمْ وَنَمْنَعْكُم مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَاللّهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَن يَجْعَلَ اللّهُ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَبِيلاً | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ (منافق) جو تمہاری (فتح و شکست کی) تاک میں رہتے ہیں، پھر اگر تمہیں اللہ کی طرف سے فتح نصیب ہو جائے تو کہتے ہیں: کیا ہم تمہارے ساتھ نہ تھے؟ اور اگر کافروں کو (ظاہری فتح میں سے) کچھ حصہ مل گیا تو (ان سے) کہتے ہیں: کیا ہم تم پر غالب نہیں ہو گئے تھے اور (اس کے باوجود) کیا ہم نے تمہیں مسلمانوں (کے ہاتھوں نقصان) سے نہیں بچایا؟ پس اللہ تمہارے درمیان قیامت کے دن فیصلہ فرمائے گا، اور اللہ کافروں کو مسلمانوں پر (غلبہ پانے کی) ہرگز کوئی راہ نہ دے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (These are) the ones who wait and watch about you: if ye do gain a victory from Allah, they say: "Were we not with you?"- but if the unbelievers gain a success, they say (to them): "Did we not gain an advantage over you, and did we not guard you from the believers?" but Allah will judge betwixt you on the Day of Judgment. And never will Allah grant to the unbelievers a way (to triumphs) over the believers.

| 27. [4:149] | In tubdoo khayran aw tukhfoohu aw taAAfooAAan soo-in fa-inna Allaha kana AAafuwwan qadeeran | إن تبدوا خيرا أو تخفوه أو تعفوا عن سوء فإن الله كان عفوا قديرا إِن تُبْدُواْ خَيْرًا أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ أَوْ تَعْفُواْ عَن سُوءٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَفُوًّا قَدِيرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اگر تم کسی کارِ خیر کو ظاہر کرو یا اسے مخفی رکھو یا کسی (کی) برائی سے در گزر کرو تو بیشک اﷲ بڑا معاف فرمانے والا بڑی قدرت والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Whether ye publish a good deed or conceal it or cover evil with pardon, verily Allah doth blot out (sins) and hath power (in the judgment of values).

[4:152] | Waallatheena amanoo biAllahiwarusulihi walam yufarriqoo bayna ahadin minhum ola-ikasawfa yu/teehim ojoorahum wakana Allahu ghafooranraheeman | والذين آمنوا بالله ورسله ولم يفرقوا بين أحد منهم أولئك سوف يؤتيهم أجورهم وكان الله غفورا رحيما وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَلَمْ يُفَرِّقُواْ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ أُوْلَـئِكَ سَوْفَ يُؤْتِيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَكَانَ اللّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جو لوگ اﷲ اور اس کے (سب) رسولوں پر ایمان لائے اور ان (پیغمبروں) میں سے کسی کے درمیان (ایمان لانے میں) فرق نہ کیا تو عنقریب وہ انہیں ان کے اجر عطا فرمائے گا، اور اﷲ بڑا بخشنے والا نہایت مہربان ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | To those who believe in Allah and His messengers and make no distinction between any of the messengers, we shall soon give their (due) rewards: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

| Tahir ul Qadri | فرعون سے، بیشک وہ بڑا سرکش، حد سے گزرنے والوں میں سے تھا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Inflicted by Pharaoh, for he was arrogant (even) among inordinate transgressors.
