| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [34:28] | Wama arsalnaka illa kaffatanlilnnasi basheeran wanatheeran walakinnaakthara alnnasi la yaAAlamoona |  وما أرسلناك إلا كافة للناس بشيرا ونذيرا ولكن أكثر الناس لا يعلمونوَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا كَافَّةً لِّلنَّاسِ بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (اے حبیبِ مکرّم!) ہم نے آپ کو نہیں بھیجا مگر اس طرح کہ (آپ) پوری انسانیت کے لئے خوشخبری سنانے والے اور ڈر سنانے والے ہیں لیکن اکثر لوگ نہیں جانتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | We have not sent thee but as a universal (Messenger) to men, giving them glad tidings, and warning them (against sin), but most men understand not.

[33:37] | Wa-ith taqoolu lillatheeanAAama Allahu AAalayhi waanAAamta AAalayhi amsik AAalaykazawjaka waittaqi Allaha watukhfee fee nafsika maAllahu mubdeehi watakhsha alnnasa waAllahuahaqqu an takhshahu falamma qadazaydun minha wataran zawwajnakahalikay la yakoona AAala almu/mineena harajunfee azwaji adAAiya-ihim itha qadawminhunna wataran wakana amru Allahi mafAAoolan | وإذ تقول للذي أنعم الله عليه وأنعمت عليه أمسك عليك زوجك واتق الله وتخفي في نفسك ما الله مبديه وتخشى الناس والله أحق أن تخشاه فلما قضى زيد منها وطرا زوجناكها لكي لا يكون على المؤمنين حرج في أزواج أدعيائهم إذا قضوا منهن وطرا وكان أمر الله مفعولا وَإِذْ تَقُولُ لِلَّذِي أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ زَوْجَكَ وَاتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اللَّهُ مُبْدِيهِ وَتَخْشَى النَّاسَ وَاللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَاهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى زَيْدٌ مِّنْهَا وَطَرًا زَوَّجْنَاكَهَا لِكَيْ لَا يَكُونَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٌ فِي أَزْوَاجِ أَدْعِيَائِهِمْ إِذَا قَضَوْا مِنْهُنَّ وَطَرًا وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ مَفْعُولًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (اے حبیب!) یاد کیجئے جب آپ نے اس شخص سے فرمایا جس پر اللہ نے انعام فرمایا تھا اور اس پر آپ نے (بھی) اِنعام فرمایا تھا کہ تُو اپنی بیوی (زینب) کو اپنی زوجیت میں روکے رکھ اور اللہ سے ڈر، اور آپ اپنے دل میں وہ بات٭ پوشیدہ رکھ رہے تھے جِسے اللہ ظاہر فرمانے والا تھا اور آپ (دل میں حیاءً) لوگوں (کی طعنہ زنی) کا خوف رکھتے تھے۔ (اے حبیب! لوگوں کو خاطر میں لانے کی کوئی ضرورت نہ تھی) اور فقط اللہ ہی زیادہ حق دار ہے کہ آپ اس کا خوف رکھیں (اور وہ آپ سے بڑھ کر کس میں ہے؟)، پھر جب (آپ کے متبنٰی) زید نے اسے طلاق دینے کی غرض پوری کرلی، تو ہم نے اس سے آپ کا نکاح کر دیا تاکہ مومنوں پر ان کے منہ بولے بیٹوں کی بیویوں (کے ساتھ نکاح) کے بارے میں کوئی حَرج نہ رہے جبکہ (طلاق دے کر) وہ ان سے بے غَرض ہو گئے ہوں، اور اللہ کا حکم تو پورا کیا جانے والا ہی تھا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Behold! Thou didst say to one who had received the grace of Allah and thy favour: "Retain thou (in wedlock) thy wife, and fear Allah." But thou didst hide in thy heart that which Allah was about to make manifest: thou didst fear the people, but it is more fitting that thou shouldst fear Allah. Then when Zaid had dissolved (his marriage) with her, with the necessary (formality), We joined her in marriage to thee: in order that (in future) there may be no difficulty to the Believers in (the matter of) marriage with the wives of their adopted sons, when the latter have dissolved with the necessary (formality) (their marriage) with them. And Allah's command must be fulfilled.

| 3. [34:36] | Qul inna rabbee yabsutu alrrizqaliman yashao wayaqdiru walakinna akthara alnnasila yaAAlamoona | قل إن ربي يبسط الرزق لمن يشاء ويقدر ولكن أكثر الناس لا يعلمون قُلْ إِنَّ رَبِّي يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | فرما دیجئے: میرا رب جس کے لئے چاہتا ہے رِزق کشادہ فرما دیتا ہے اور (جس کے لئے چاہتا ہے) تنگ کر دیتا ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ نہیں جانتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "Verily my Lord enlarges and restricts the Provision to whom He pleases, but most men understand not."

[35:3] | Ya ayyuha alnnasuothkuroo niAAmata Allahi AAalaykum hal min khaliqinghayru Allahi yarzuqukum mina alssama-i waal-ardila ilaha illa huwa faanna tu/fakoona | يا أيها الناس اذكروا نعمت الله عليكم هل من خالق غير الله يرزقكم من السماء والأرض لا إله إلا هو فأنى تؤفكون يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ هَلْ مِنْ خَالِقٍ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَأَنَّى تُؤْفَكُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے لوگو! اپنے اوپر اﷲ کے انعام کو یاد کرو، کیا اﷲ کے سوا کوئی اور خالق ہے جو تمہیں آسمان اور زمین سے روزی دے، اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، پس تم کہاں بہکے پھرتے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O men! Call to mind the grace of Allah unto you! is there a creator, other than Allah, to give you sustenance from heaven or earth? There is no god but He: how then are ye deluded away from the Truth?

[35:5] | Ya ayyuha alnnasuinna waAAda Allahi haqqun falataghurrannakumu alhayatu alddunya walayaghurrannakum biAllahi algharooru | يا أيها الناس إن وعد الله حق فلا تغرنكم الحياة الدنيا ولا يغرنكم بالله الغرور يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے لوگو! بیشک اﷲ کا وعدہ سچا ہے سو دنیا کی زندگی تمہیں ہرگز فریب نہ دے دے، اور نہ وہ دغا باز شیطان تمہیں اﷲ (کے نام) سے دھوکہ دے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O men! Certainly the promise of Allah is true. Let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the Chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah.

| 6. [35:15] | Ya ayyuha alnnasuantumu alfuqarao ila Allahi waAllahuhuwa alghaniyyu alhameedu | يا أيها الناس أنتم الفقراء إلى الله والله هو الغني الحميد يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَنتُمُ الْفُقَرَاءُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے لوگو! تم سب اﷲ کے محتاج ہو اور اﷲ ہی بے نیاز، سزاوارِ حمد و ثنا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O ye men! It is ye that have need of Allah: but Allah is the One Free of all wants, worthy of all praise.

[35:28] | Wamina alnnasi waalddawabbiwaal-anAAami mukhtalifun alwanuhu kathalikainnama yakhsha Allaha min AAibadihialAAulamao inna Allaha AAazeezun ghafoorun | ومن الناس والدواب والأنعام مختلف ألوانه كذلك إنما يخشى الله من عباده العلماء إن الله عزيز غفور وَمِنَ النَّاسِ وَالدَّوَابِّ وَالْأَنْعَامِ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهُ كَذَلِكَ إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاءُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ غَفُورٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور انسانوں اور جانوروں اور چوپایوں میں بھی اسی طرح مختلف رنگ ہیں، بس اﷲ کے بندوں میں سے اس سے وہی ڈرتے ہیں جو (ان حقائق کا بصیرت کے ساتھ) علم رکھنے والے ہیں، یقیناً اﷲ غالب ہے بڑا بخشنے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And so amongst men and crawling creatures and cattle, are they of various colours. Those truly fear Allah, among His Servants, who have knowledge: for Allah is Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving.

[35:45] | Walaw yu-akhithu Allahualnnasa bima kasaboo ma taraka AAalathahriha min dabbatin walakinyu-akhkhiruhum ila ajalin musamman fa-itha jaaajaluhum fa-inna Allaha kana biAAibadihi baseeran | ولو يؤاخذ الله الناس بما كسبوا ما ترك على ظهرها من دابة ولكن يؤخرهم إلى أجل مسمى فإذا جاء أجلهم فإن الله كان بعباده بصيرا وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا مَا تَرَكَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهَا مِن دَابَّةٍ وَلَكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ بَصِيرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اگر اﷲ لوگوں کو اُن اعمالِ (بد) کے بدلے جو انہوں نے کما رکھے ہیں (عذاب کی) گرفت میں لینے لگے تو وہ اس زمین کی پشت پر کسی چلنے والے کو نہ چھوڑے لیکن وہ انہیں مقررہ مدّت تک مہلت دے رہا ہے۔ پھر جب ان کا مقررہ وقت آجائے گا تو بیشک اﷲ اپنے بندوں کو خوب دیکھنے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | If Allah were to punish men according to what they deserve. He would not leave on the back of the (earth) a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term: when their Term expires, verily Allah has in His sight all His Servants.

[38:26] | Ya dawoodu inna jaAAalnakakhaleefatan fee al-ardi faohkum bayna alnnasibialhaqqi wala tattabiAAi alhawa fayudillakaAAan sabeeli Allahi inna allatheena yadilloonaAAan sabeeli Allahi lahum AAathabun shadeedun bimanasoo yawma alhisabi | يا داوود إنا جعلناك خليفة في الأرض فاحكم بين الناس بالحق ولا تتبع الهوى فيضلك عن سبيل الله إن الذين يضلون عن سبيل الله لهم عذاب شديد بما نسوا يوم الحساب يَا دَاوُودُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاكَ خَلِيفَةً فِي الْأَرْضِ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَ النَّاسِ بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ الْهَوَى فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ بِمَا نَسُوا يَوْمَ الْحِسَابِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے داؤد! بے شک ہم نے آپ کو زمین میں (اپنا) نائب بنایا سو تم لوگوں کے درمیان حق و انصاف کے ساتھ فیصلے (یا حکومت) کیا کرو اور خواہش کی پیروی نہ کرنا ورنہ (یہ پیروی) تمہیں راہِ خدا سے بھٹکا دے گی، بے شک جو لوگ اﷲ کی راہ سے بھٹک جاتے ہیں اُن کے لئے سخت عذاب ہے اس وجہ سے کہ وہ یومِ حساب کو بھول گئے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O David! We did indeed make thee a vicegerent on earth: so judge thou between men in truth (and justice): Nor follow thou the lusts (of thy heart), for they will mislead thee from the Path of Allah: for those who wander astray from the Path of Allah, is a Penalty Grievous, for that they forget the Day of Account.

| 10. [40:57] | Lakhalqu alssamawati waal-ardiakbaru min khalqi alnnasi walakinna aktharaalnnasi la yaAAlamoona | لخلق السماوات والأرض أكبر من خلق الناس ولكن أكثر الناس لا يعلمون لَخَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ خَلْقِ النَّاسِ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یقیناً آسمانوں اور زمین کی پیدائش انسانوں کی پیدائش سے کہیں بڑھ کر ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ علم نہیں رکھتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Assuredly the creation of the heavens and the earth is a greater (matter) than the creation of men: Yet most men understand not.

| 11. [40:59] | Inna alssaAAata laatiyatunla rayba feeha walakinna akthara alnnasila yu/minoona | إن الساعة لآتية لا ريب فيها ولكن أكثر الناس لا يؤمنون إِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَآتِيَةٌ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهَا وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بے شک قیامت ضرور آنے والی ہے، اس میں کوئی شک نہیں۔ لیکن اکثر لوگ یقین نہیں رکھتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The Hour will certainly come: Therein is no doubt: Yet most men believe not.

[40:61] | Allahu allathee jaAAala lakumuallayla litaskunoo feehi waalnnahara mubsiraninna Allaha lathoo fadlin AAala alnnasiwalakinna akthara alnnasi layashkuroona | الله الذي جعل لكم الليل لتسكنوا فيه والنهار مبصرا إن الله لذو فضل على الناس ولكن أكثر الناس لا يشكرون اللَّهُ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اللہ ہی ہے جس نے تمہارے لئے رات بنائی تاکہ تم اس میں آرام پاؤ اور دن کو دیکھنے کے لئے روشن بنایا۔ بے شک اللہ لوگوں پر فضل فرمانے والا ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ شکر ادا نہیں کرتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | It is Allah Who has made the Night for you, that ye may rest therein, and the days as that which helps (you) to see. Verily Allah is full of Grace and Bounty to men: yet most men give no thanks.

[42:42] | Innama alssabeelu AAalaallatheena yathlimoona alnnasawayabghoona fee al-ardi bighayri alhaqqi ola-ikalahum AAathabun aleemun | إنما السبيل على الذين يظلمون الناس ويبغون في الأرض بغير الحق أولئك لهم عذاب أليم إِنَّمَا السَّبِيلُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَظْلِمُونَ النَّاسَ وَيَبْغُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ أُوْلَئِكَ لَهُم عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بس (ملامت و گرفت کی) راہ صرف اُن کے خلاف ہے جو لوگوں پر ظلم کرتے ہیں اور زمین میں ناحق سرکشی و فساد پھیلاتے ہیں، ایسے ہی لوگوں کے لئے دردناک عذاب ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The blame is only against those who oppress men and wrong-doing and insolently transgress beyond bounds through the land, defying right and justice: for such there will be a penalty grievous.

[43:33] | Walawla an yakoona alnnasuommatan wahidatan lajaAAalna liman yakfuru bialrrahmanilibuyootihim suqufan min fiddatin wamaAAarijaAAalayha yathharoona | ولولا أن يكون الناس أمة واحدة لجعلنا لمن يكفر بالرحمن لبيوتهم سقفا من فضة ومعارج عليها يظهرون وَلَوْلَا أَن يَكُونَ النَّاسُ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً لَّجَعَلْنَا لِمَن يَكْفُرُ بِالرَّحْمَنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمْ سُقُفًا مِّن فَضَّةٍ وَمَعَارِجَ عَلَيْهَا يَظْهَرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اگر یہ نہ ہوتا کہ سب لوگ (کفر پر جمع ہو کر) ایک ہی ملّت بن جائیں گے تو ہم (خدائے) رحمان کے ساتھ کفر کرنے والے تمام لوگوں کے گھروں کی چھتیں (بھی) چاندی کی کر دیتے اور سیڑھیاں (بھی) جن پر وہ چڑھتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And were it not that (all) men might become of one (evil) way of life, We would provide, for everyone that blasphemes against (Allah) Most Gracious, silver roofs for their houses and (silver) stair-ways on which to go up,

[45:26] | Quli Allahu yuhyeekum thummayumeetukum thumma yajmaAAukum ila yawmi alqiyamatila rayba feehi walakinna akthara alnnasila yaAAlamoona | قل الله يحييكم ثم يميتكم ثم يجمعكم إلى يوم القيامة لا ريب فيه ولكن أكثر الناس لا يعلمون قُلِ اللَّهُ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يَجْمَعُكُمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لَا رَيبَ فِيهِ وَلَكِنَّ أَكَثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | فرما دیجئے: اللہ ہی تمہیں زندگی دیتا ہے اور پھر وہی تمہیں موت دیتا ہے پھر تم سب کو قیامت کے دن کی طرف جمع فرمائے گا جس میں کوئی شک نہیں ہے، لیکن اکثر لوگ نہیں جانتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "It is Allah Who gives you life, then gives you death; then He will gather you together for the Day of Judgment about which there is no doubt": But most men do not understand.

| 16. [46:6] | Wa-itha hushira alnnasukanoo lahum aAAdaan wakanoo biAAibadatihimkafireena | وإذا حشر الناس كانوا لهم أعداء وكانوا بعبادتهم كافرين وَإِذَا حُشِرَ النَّاسُ كَانُوا لَهُمْ أَعْدَاءً وَكَانُوا بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ كَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جب لوگ (قیامت کے دن) جمع کئے جائیں گے تو وہ (معبودانِ باطلہ) ان کے دشمن ہوں گے اور (اپنی برات کی خاطر) ان کی عبادت سے ہی منکر ہو جائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And when mankind are gathered together (at the Resurrection), they will be hostile to them and reject their worship (altogether)!

[48:20] | WaAAadakumu Allahu maghanimakatheeratan ta/khuthoonaha faAAajjala lakum hathihiwakaffa aydiya alnnasi AAankum walitakoona ayatanlilmu/mineena wayahdiyakum siratan mustaqeeman | وعدكم الله مغانم كثيرة تأخذونها فعجل لكم هذه وكف أيدي الناس عنكم ولتكون آية للمؤمنين ويهديكم صراطا مستقيما وَعَدَكُمُ اللَّهُ مَغَانِمَ كَثِيرَةً تَأْخُذُونَهَا فَعَجَّلَ لَكُمْ هَذِهِ وَكَفَّ أَيْدِيَ النَّاسِ عَنكُمْ وَلِتَكُونَ آيَةً لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَيَهْدِيَكُمْ صِرَاطًا مُّسْتَقِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اﷲ نے (کئی فتوحات کے نتیجے میں) تم سے بہت سی غنیمتوں کا وعدہ فرمایا ہے جو تم آئندہ حاصل کرو گے مگر اس نے یہ (غنیمتِ خیبر) تمہیں جلدی عطا فرما دی اور (اہلِ مکہّ، اہلِ خیبر، قبائل بنی اسد و غطفان الغرض تمام دشمن) لوگوں کے ہاتھ تم سے روک دیئے، اور تاکہ یہ مومنوں کے لئے (آئندہ کی کامیابی و فتح یابی کی) نشانی بن جائے۔ اور تمہیں (اطمینانِ قلب کے ساتھ) سیدھے راستہ پر (ثابت قدم اور)گامزن رکھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Allah has promised you many gains that ye shall acquire, and He has given you these beforehand; and He has restrained the hands of men from you; that it may be a Sign for the Believers, and that He may guide you to a Straight Path;

[49:13] | Ya ayyuha alnnasuinna khalaqnakum min thakarin waonthawajaAAalnakum shuAAooban waqaba-ila litaAAarafooinna akramakum AAinda Allahi atqakum inna AllahaAAaleemun khabeerun | يا أيها الناس إنا خلقناكم من ذكر وأنثى وجعلناكم شعوبا وقبائل لتعارفوا إن أكرمكم عند الله أتقاكم إن الله عليم خبير يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثَى وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے لوگو! ہم نے تمہیں مرد اور عورت سے پیدا فرمایا اور ہم نے تمہیں (بڑی بڑی) قوموں اور قبیلوں میں (تقسیم) کیا تاکہ تم ایک دوسرے کو پہچان سکو۔ بیشک اﷲ کے نزدیک تم میں زیادہ باعزت وہ ہے جو تم میں زیادہ پرہیزگارہو، بیشک اﷲ خوب جاننے والا خوب خبر رکھنے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).

| Tahir ul Qadri | جو لوگ (خود بھی) بخل کرتے ہیں اور (دوسرے) لوگوں کو (بھی) بخل کی تلقین کرتے ہیں، اور جو شخص (احکامِ الٰہی سے) رُوگردانی کرتا ہے تو بیشک اللہ (بھی) بے پرواہ ہے بڑا قابلِ حمد و ستائِش ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Such persons as are covetous and commend covetousness to men. And if any turn back (from Allah's Way), verily Allah is Free of all Needs, Worthy of all Praise.

[57:25] | Laqad arsalna rusulana bialbayyinatiwaanzalna maAAahumu alkitaba waalmeezanaliyaqooma alnnasu bialqisti waanzalnaalhadeeda feehi ba/sun shadeedun wamanafiAAu lilnnasiwaliyaAAlama Allahu man yansuruhu warusulahu bialghaybiinna Allaha qawiyyun AAazeezun | لقد أرسلنا رسلنا بالبينات وأنزلنا معهم الكتاب والميزان ليقوم الناس بالقسط وأنزلنا الحديد فيه بأس شديد ومنافع للناس وليعلم الله من ينصره ورسله بالغيب إن الله قوي عزيز لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَأَنزَلْنَا مَعَهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْمِيزَانَ لِيَقُومَ النَّاسُ بِالْقِسْطِ وَأَنزَلْنَا الْحَدِيدَ فِيهِ بَأْسٌ شَدِيدٌ وَمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللَّهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُ وَرُسُلَهُ بِالْغَيْبِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک ہم نے اپنے رسولوں کو واضح نشانیوں کے ساتھ بھیجا اور ہم نے اُن کے ساتھ کتاب اور میزانِ عدل نازل فرمائی تاکہ لوگ انصاف پر قائم ہو سکیں، اور ہم نے (معدنیات میں سے) لوہا مہیّا کیا اس میں (آلاتِ حرب و دفاع کے لئے) سخت قوّت اور لوگوں کے لئے (صنعت سازی کے کئی دیگر) فوائد ہیں اور (یہ اس لئے کیا) تاکہ اللہ ظاہر کر دے کہ کون اُس کی اور اُس کے رسولوں کی (یعنی دینِ اسلام کی) بِن دیکھے مدد کرتا ہے، بیشک اللہ (خود ہی) بڑی قوت والا بڑے غلبہ والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | We sent aforetime our messengers with Clear Signs and sent down with them the Book and the Balance (of Right and Wrong), that men may stand forth in justice; and We sent down Iron, in which is (material for) mighty war, as well as many benefits for mankind, that Allah may test who it is that will help, Unseen, Him and His messengers: For Allah is Full of Strength, Exalted in Might (and able to enforce His Will).

| Tahir ul Qadri | آپ فرما دیجئے: اے یہودیو! اگر تم یہ گمان کرتے ہو کہ سب لوگوں کو چھوڑ کر تم ہی اللہ کے دوست (یعنی اولیاء) ہو تو موت کی آرزو کرو (کیونکہ اس کے اولیاء کو تو قبر و حشر میں کوئی پریشانی نہیں ہوگی) اگر تم (اپنے خیال میں) سچے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "O ye that stand on Judaism! If ye think that ye are friends to Allah, to the exclusion of (other) men, then express your desire for Death, if ye are truthful!"

| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ایمان والو! اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے اہل و عیال کو اس آگ سے بچاؤ جس کا ایندھن انسان اور پتھر ہیں، جس پر سخت مزاج طاقتور فرشتے (مقرر) ہیں جو کسی بھی امر میں جس کا وہ انہیں حکم دیتا ہے اﷲ کی نافرمانی نہیں کرتے اور وہی کام انجام دیتے ہیں جس کا انہیں حکم دیا جاتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O ye who believe! save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is Men and Stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who flinch not (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do (precisely) what they are commanded.
