| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [28:8] | Failtaqatahu alufirAAawna liyakoona lahum AAaduwwan wahazanan innafirAAawna wahamana wajunoodahuma kanookhati-eena |  فالتقطه آل فرعون ليكون لهم عدوا وحزنا إن فرعون وهامان وجنودهما كانوا خاطئينفَالْتَقَطَهُ آلُ فِرْعَوْنَ لِيَكُونَ لَهُمْ عَدُوًّا وَحَزَنًا إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا كَانُوا خَاطِئِينَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر فرعون کے گھر والوں نے انہیں (دریا سے) اٹھا لیا تاکہ وہ (مشیّتِ الٰہی سے) ان کے لئے دشمن اور (باعثِ) غم ثابت ہوں، بیشک فرعون اور ہامان اور ان دونوں کی فوجیں سب خطاکار تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Then the people of Pharaoh picked him up (from the river): (It was intended) that (Moses) should be to them an adversary and a cause of sorrow: for Pharaoh and Haman and (all) their hosts were men of sin.

[28:13] | Faradadnahu ila ommihi kaytaqarra AAaynuha wala tahzana walitaAAlamaanna waAAda Allahi haqqun walakinnaaktharahum la yaAAlamoona | فرددناه إلى أمه كي تقر عينها ولا تحزن ولتعلم أن وعد الله حق ولكن أكثرهم لا يعلمون فَرَدَدْنَاهُ إِلَى أُمِّهِ كَيْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَ وَلِتَعْلَمَ أَنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پس ہم نے موسٰی (علیہ السلام) کو (یوں) ان کی والدہ کے پاس لوٹا دیا تاکہ ان کی آنکھ ٹھنڈی رہے اور وہ رنجیدہ نہ ہوں اور تاکہ وہ (یقین سے) جان لیں کہ اللہ کا وعدہ سچا ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ نہیں جانتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Thus did We restore him to his mother, that her eye might be comforted, that she might not grieve, and that she might know that the promise of Allah is true: but most of them do not understand.

[29:33] | Walamma an jaat rusulunalootan see-a bihim wadaqa bihim tharAAan waqaloola takhaf wala tahzan inna munajjookawaahlaka illa imraataka kanat mina alghabireena | ولما أن جاءت رسلنا لوطا سيء بهم وضاق بهم ذرعا وقالوا لا تخف ولا تحزن إنا منجوك وأهلك إلا امرأتك كانت من الغابرين وَلَمَّا أَن جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا لُوطًا سِيءَ بِهِمْ وَضَاقَ بِهِمْ ذَرْعًا وَقَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَكَ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جب ہمارے بھیجے ہوئے (فرشتے) لوط (علیہ السلام) کے پاس آئے تو وہ ان (کے آنے) سے رنجیدہ ہوئے اور ان کے (ارادۂ عذاب کے) باعث نڈھال سے ہوگئے اور (فرشتوں نے) کہا: آپ نہ خوفزدہ ہوں اور نہ غم زدہ ہوں، بیشک ہم آپ کو اور آپ کے گھر والوں کو بچانے والے ہیں سوائے آپ کی عورت کے وہ (عذاب کے لئے) پیچھے رہ جانے والوں میں سے ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And when Our Messengers came to Lut, he was grieved on their account, and felt himself powerless (to protect) them: but they said: "Fear thou not, nor grieve: we are (here) to save thee and thy following, except thy wife: she is of those who lag behind.

[31:23] | Waman kafara fala yahzunkakufruhu ilayna marjiAAuhum fanunabbi-ohum bimaAAamiloo inna Allaha AAaleemun bithati alssudoori | ومن كفر فلا يحزنك كفره إلينا مرجعهم فننبئهم بما عملوا إن الله عليم بذات الصدور وَمَن كَفَرَ فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ كُفْرُهُ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جو کفر کرتا ہے (اے حبیبِ مکرّم!) اس کا کفر آپ کو غمگین نہ کر دے، انہیں (بھی) ہماری ہی طرف پلٹ کر آنا ہے، ہم انہیں ان اعمال سے آگاہ کر دیں گے جو وہ کرتے رہے ہیں، بیشک اﷲ سینوں کی (مخفی) باتوں کو خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But if any reject Faith, let not his rejection grieve thee: to Us is their return, and We shall tell them the truth of their deeds: for Allah knows well all that is in (men's) hearts.

[33:51] | Turjee man tashao minhunna watu/weeilayka man tashao wamani ibtaghayta mimman AAazalta falajunaha AAalayka thalika adna an taqarraaAAyunuhunna wala yahzanna wayardayna bimaataytahunna kulluhunna waAllahu yaAAlamu mafee quloobikum wakana Allahu AAaleeman haleeman | ترجي من تشاء منهن وتؤوي إليك من تشاء ومن ابتغيت ممن عزلت فلا جناح عليك ذلك أدنى أن تقر أعينهن ولا يحزن ويرضين بما آتيتهن كلهن والله يعلم ما في قلوبكم وكان الله عليما حليما تُرْجِي مَن تَشَاءُُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُؤْوِي إِلَيْكَ مَن تَشَاءُ وَمَنِ ابْتَغَيْتَ مِمَّنْ عَزَلْتَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكَ ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى أَن تَقَرَّ أَعْيُنُهُنَّ وَلَا يَحْزَنَّ وَيَرْضَيْنَ بِمَا آتَيْتَهُنَّ كُلُّهُنَّ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَلِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (اے حبیب! آپ کو اختیار ہے) ان میں سے جِس (زوجہ) کو چاہیں (باری میں) مؤخّر رکھیں اور جسے چاہیں اپنے پاس (پہلے) جگہ دیں، اور جن سے آپ نے (عارضی) کنارہ کشی اختیار فرما رکھی تھی آپ انہیں (اپنی قربت کے لئے) طلب فرما لیں تو آپ پر کچھ مضائقہ نہیں، یہ اس کے قریب تر ہے کہ ان کی آنکھیں (آپ کے دیدار سے) ٹھنڈی ہوں گی اور وہ غمگین نہیں رہیں گی اور وہ سب اس سے راضی رہیں گی جو کچھ آپ نے انہیں عطا فرما دیا ہے، اور اللہ جانتا ہے جو کچھ تمہارے دلوں میں ہے، اور اللہ خوب جاننے والا بڑا حِلم والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Thou mayest defer (the turn of) any of them that thou pleasest, and thou mayest receive any thou pleasest: and there is no blame on thee if thou invite one whose (turn) thou hadst set aside. This were nigher to the cooling of their eyes, the prevention of their grief, and their satisfaction - that of all of them - with that which thou hast to give them: and Allah knows (all) that is in your hearts: and Allah is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing.

| 6. [35:34] | Waqaloo alhamdu lillahiallathee athhaba AAanna alhazana innarabbana laghafoorun shakoorun | وقالوا الحمد لله الذي أذهب عنا الحزن إن ربنا لغفور شكور وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ عَنَّا الْحَزَنَ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور وہ کہیں گے: اﷲ کا شکر و حمد ہے جس نے ہم سے کُل غم دور فرما دیا، بیشک ہمارا رب بڑا بخشنے والا، بڑا شکر قبول فرمانے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And they will say: "Praise be to Allah, Who has removed from us (all) sorrow: for our Lord is indeed Oft-Forgiving Ready to appreciate (service):

| 7. [36:76] | Fala yahzunka qawluhum innanaAAlamu ma yusirroona wama yuAAlinoona | فلا يحزنك قولهم إنا نعلم ما يسرون وما يعلنون فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پس اُن کی باتیں آپ کو رنجیدہ خاطر نہ کریں، بیشک ہم جانتے ہیں جو کچھ وہ چھپاتے ہیں اور جو کچھ وہ ظاہر کرتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Let not their speech, then, grieve thee. Verily We know what they hide as well as what they disclose.

| 8. [39:61] | Wayunajjee Allahu allatheenaittaqaw bimafazatihim la yamassuhumu alssoo-owala hum yahzanoona | وينجي الله الذين اتقوا بمفازتهم لا يمسهم السوء ولا هم يحزنون وَيُنَجِّي اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوا بِمَفَازَتِهِمْ لَا يَمَسُّهُمُ السُّوءُ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اللہ ایسے لوگوں کو جنہوں نے پرہیزگاری اختیار کی ہے اُن کی کامیابی کے ساتھ نجات دے گا نہ انہیں کوئی برائی پہنچے گی اور نہ ہی وہ غمگین ہوں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But Allah will deliver the righteous to their place of salvation: no evil shall touch them, nor shall they grieve.

[41:30] | Inna allatheena qaloo rabbunaAllahu thumma istaqamoo tatanazzalu AAalayhimualmala-ikatu alla takhafoo wala tahzanoowaabshiroo bialjannati allatee kuntum tooAAadoona | إن الذين قالوا ربنا الله ثم استقاموا تتنزل عليهم الملائكة ألا تخافوا ولا تحزنوا وأبشروا بالجنة التي كنتم توعدون إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بے شک جن لوگوں نے کہا: ہمارا رب اﷲ ہے، پھر وہ (اِس پر مضبوطی سے) قائم ہوگئے، تو اُن پر فرشتے اترتے ہیں (اور کہتے ہیں) کہ تم خوف نہ کرو اور نہ غم کرو اور تم جنت کی خوشیاں مناؤ جس کا تم سے وعدہ کیا جاتا تھا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | In the case of those who say, "Our Lord is Allah", and, further, stand straight and steadfast, the angels descend on them (from time to time): "Fear ye not!" (they suggest), "Nor grieve! but receive the Glad Tidings of the Garden (of Bliss), the which ye were promised!

| 10. [43:68] | Ya AAibadi la khawfunAAalaykumu alyawma wala antum tahzanoona | يا عباد لا خوف عليكم اليوم ولا أنتم تحزنون يَا عِبَادِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَلَا أَنتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (اُن سے فرمایا جائے گا): اے میرے (مقرّب) بندو! آج کے دن تم پر نہ کوئی خوف ہے اور نہ ہی تم غم زدہ ہو گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | My devotees! no fear shall be on you that Day, nor shall ye grieve,-

| 11. [46:13] | Inna allatheena qaloo rabbunaAllahu thumma istaqamoo fala khawfunAAalayhim wala hum yahzanoona | إن الذين قالوا ربنا الله ثم استقاموا فلا خوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک جن لوگوں نے کہا کہ ہمارا رب اللہ ہے پھر انہوں نے استقامت اختیار کی تو ان پر نہ کوئی خوف ہے اور نہ وہ غمگین ہوں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Verily those who say, "Our Lord is Allah," and remain firm (on that Path),- on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

[58:10] | Innama alnnajwa mina alshshaytaniliyahzuna allatheena amanoo walaysa bidarrihimshay-an illa bi-ithni Allahi waAAalaAllahi falyatawakkali almu/minoona | إنما النجوى من الشيطان ليحزن الذين آمنوا وليس بضارهم شيئا إلا بإذن الله وعلى الله فليتوكل المؤمنون إِنَّمَا النَّجْوَى مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ لِيَحْزُنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَيْسَ بِضَارِّهِمْ شَيْئًا إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (منفی اور تخریبی) سرگوشی محض شیطان ہی کی طرف سے ہوتی ہے تاکہ وہ ایمان والوں کو پریشان کرے حالانکہ وہ (شیطان) اُن (مومنوں) کا کچھ بگاڑ نہیں سکتا مگر اللہ کے حکم سے، اور اللہ ہی پر مومنوں کو بھروسہ رکھنا چاہیے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Secret counsels are only (inspired) by the Evil One, in order that he may cause grief to the Believers; but he cannot harm them in the least, except as Allah permits; and on Allah let the Believers put their trust.
