| يعتذرون إليكم إذا رجعتم إليهم قل لا تعتذروا لن نؤمن لكم قد نبأنا الله من أخباركم وسيرى الله عملكم ورسوله ثم تردون إلى عالم الغيب والشهادة فينبئكم بما كنتم تعملون يَعْتَذِرُونَ إِلَيْكُمْ إِذَا رَجَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ قُل لاَّ تَعْتَذِرُواْ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكُمْ قَدْ نَبَّأَنَا اللّهُ مِنْ أَخْبَارِكُمْ وَسَيَرَى اللّهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَى عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ |

Tahir ul Qadri | (اے مسلمانو!) وہ تم سے عذر خواہی کریں گے جب تم ان کی طرف (اس سفرِ تبوک سے) پلٹ کر جاؤ گے، (اے حبیب!) آپ فرما دیجئے: بہانے مت بناؤ ہم ہرگز تمہاری بات پر یقین نہیں کریں گے، ہمیں اﷲ نے تمہارے حالات سے باخبر کردیا ہے، اور اب (آئندہ) تمہارا عمل (دنیا میں بھی) اﷲ دیکھے گا اور اس کا رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) بھی (دیکھے گا) پھر تم (آخرت میں بھی) ہر پوشیدہ اور ظاہر کو جاننے والے (رب) کی طرف لوٹائے جاؤ گے تو وہ تمہیں ان تمام (اعمال) سے خبردار فرما دے گا جو تم کیا کرتے تھے |
Yousuf Ali | They will present their excuses to you when ye return to them. Say thou: "Present no excuses: we shall not believe you: Allah hath already informed us of the true state of matters concerning you: It is your actions that Allah and His Messenger will observe: in the end will ye be brought back to Him Who knoweth what is hidden and what is open: then will He show you the truth of all that ye did."
