بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Wama manaAAahum an tuqbala minhumnafaqatuhum illa annahum kafaroo biAllahiwabirasoolihi wala ya/toona alssalatailla wahum kusala wala yunfiqoona illawahum karihoona وما منعهم أن تقبل منهم نفقاتهم إلا أنهم كفروا بالله وبرسوله ولا يأتون الصلاة إلا وهم كسالى ولا ينفقون إلا وهم كارهون
وَمَا مَنَعَهُمْ أَن تُقْبَلَ مِنْهُمْ نَفَقَاتُهُمْ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُواْ بِاللّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِ وَلاَ يَأْتُونَ الصَّلاَةَ إِلاَّ وَهُمْ كُسَالَى وَلاَ يُنفِقُونَ إِلاَّ وَهُمْ كَارِهُونَ

  اور ان سے ان کے نفقات (یعنی صدقات) کے قبول کئے جانے میں کوئی (اور) چیز انہیں مانع نہیں ہوئی سوائے اس کے کہ وہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے منکر ہیں اور وہ نماز کی ادائیگی کے لئے نہیں آتے مگر کاہلی و بے رغبتی کے ساتھ اور وہ (اللہ کی راہ میں) خرچ (بھی) نہیں کرتے مگر اس حال میں کہ وہ ناخوش ہوتے ہیں

Yousuf AliThe only reasons why their contributions are not accepted are: that they reject Allah and His Messenger; that they come to prayer without earnestness; and that they offer contributions unwillingly.

Abul Ala Maududiان کے دیے ہوئے مال قبول نہ ہونے کی کوئی وجہ اس کے سوا نہیں ہے کہ انہوں نے اللہ اور اس کے رسول سے کفر کیا ہے، نماز کے لیے آتے ہیں تو کسمساتے ہوئے آتے ہیں اور راہ خدا میں خرچ کرتے ہیں تو بادل ناخواستہ خرچ کرتے ہیں

Khalifa**What prevented the acceptance of their spending is that they disbelieved in GOD and His messenger, and when they observed the Contact Prayers (Salat), they observed them lazily, and when they gave to charity, they did so grudgingly.
Hilali/Khan**And nothing prevents their contributions from being accepted from them except that they disbelieved in Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW); and that they came not to As-Salat (the prayer) except in a lazy state; and that they offer not contributions but unwillingly.
QXP Shabbir Ahemd**What prevents their contributions from being accepted is this: They do not truly believe in Allah and His Messenger. They only claim to believe (2:8). They join you in congregations of prayer only half-heartedly and just to be seen of men (4:142), (107:5). And they contribute only with great reluctance in their hearts. (Islam involves only willing submission to Allah (2:256).
