| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [7:203] | Wa-itha lam ta/tihim bi-ayatinqaloo lawla ijtabaytaha qul innamaattabiAAu ma yooha ilayya min rabbee hathabasa-iru min rabbikum wahudan warahmatun liqawminyu/minoona |  وإذا لم تأتهم بآية قالوا لولا اجتبيتها قل إنما أتبع ما يوحى إلي من ربي هذا بصائر من ربكم وهدى ورحمة لقوم يؤمنونوَإِذَا لَمْ تَأْتِهِم بِآيَةٍ قَالُواْ لَوْلاَ اجْتَبَيْتَهَا قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَتَّبِعُ مَا يُوحَى إِلَيَّ مِن رَّبِّي هَـذَا بَصَآئِرُ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جب آپ ان کے پاس کوئی نشانی نہیں لاتے (تو) وہ کہتے ہیں کہ آپ اسے اپنی طرف سے وضع کر کے کیوں نہیں لائے؟ فرما دیں: میں تو محض اس (حکم) کی پیروی کرتا ہوں جو میرے رب کی جانب سے میری طرف وحی کیا جاتا ہے یہ (قرآن) تمہارے رب کی طرف سے دلائل قطعیہ (کا مجموعہ) ہے اور ہدایت و رحمت ہے ان لوگوں کے لئے جو ایمان لاتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | If thou bring them not a revelation, they say: "Why hast thou not got it together?" Say: "I but follow what is revealed to me from my Lord: this is (nothing but) lights from your Lord, and Guidance, and mercy, for any who have faith."
