بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Wa-ith qeela lahumu oskunoo hathihialqaryata wakuloo minha haythu shi/tum waqooloo hittatunwaodkhuloo albaba sujjadan naghfir lakum khatee-atikumsanazeedu almuhsineena وإذ قيل لهم اسكنوا هذه القرية وكلوا منها حيث شئتم وقولوا حطة وادخلوا الباب سجدا نغفر لكم خطيئاتكم سنزيد المحسنين
وَإِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمُ اسْكُنُواْ هَـذِهِ الْقَرْيَةَ وَكُلُواْ مِنْهَا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ وَقُولُواْ حِطَّةٌ وَادْخُلُواْ الْبَابَ سُجَّدًا نَّغْفِرْ لَكُمْ خَطِيئَاتِكُمْ سَنَزِيدُ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

  اور (یاد کرو) جب ان سے فرمایا گیا کہ تم اس شہر (بیت المقدس یا اریحا) میں سکونت اختیار کرو اور تم وہاں سے جس طرح چاہو کھانا اور (زبان سے) کہتے جانا کہ (ہمارے گناہ) بخش دے اور (شہر کے) دروازے میں سجدہ کرتے ہوئے داخل ہونا (تو) ہم تمہاری تمام خطائیں بخش دیں گے، عنقریب ہم نیکو کاروں کو اور زیادہ عطا فرمائیں گے

Ahmed Aliاور جب انہیں حکم دیا گیا کہ تم اس بستی میں جا کر رہو اور وہاں جہاں سے تم چاہو کھاؤ اور زباں سے یہ کہتے جاؤ توبہ ہے اور دروازہ میں جھک کر داخل ہو ہم تمہاری غلطیاں معاف کر دیں گے اور نیکو کاروں کو اور زیادہ اجر دیں گے

Mehmood Al Hassanاور جب حکم ہوا ان کو کہ بسو اس شہر میں اور کھاؤ اس میں جہاں سے چاہو اور کہو ہم کو بخش دے اور داخل ہو دروازہ میں سجدہ کرتے ہوئے تو بخشدیں گے ہم تمہاری خطائیں البتہ زیادہ دیں گے ہم نیکی کرنے والوں کو
Abul Ala Maududiیاد کرو وہ وقت جب ان سے کہا گیا تھا کہ اِس بستی میں جا کر بس جاؤ اور اس کی پیداوار سے حسب منشا روزی حاصل کرو اور حطۃ حطۃ کہتے جاؤ اور شہر کے دروازے میں سجدہ ریز ہوتے ہوئے داخل ہو، ہم تمہاری خطائیں معاف کریں گے اور نیک رویہ رکھنے والوں کو مزید فضل سے نوازیں گے"
