| وإذ أسر النبي إلى بعض أزواجه حديثا فلما نبأت به وأظهره الله عليه عرف بعضه وأعرض عن بعض فلما نبأها به قالت من أنبأك هذا قال نبأني العليم الخبير وَإِذْ أَسَرَّ النَّبِيُّ إِلَى بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِهِ حَدِيثًا فَلَمَّا نَبَّأَتْ بِهِ وَأَظْهَرَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَرَّفَ بَعْضَهُ وَأَعْرَضَ عَن بَعْضٍ فَلَمَّا نَبَّأَهَا بِهِ قَالَتْ مَنْ أَنبَأَكَ هَذَا قَالَ نَبَّأَنِيَ الْعَلِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ |

Tahir ul Qadri | اور جب نبئ (مکرّم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنی ایک زوجہ سے ایک رازدارانہ بات ارشاد فرمائی، پھر جب وہ اُس (بات) کا ذکر کر بیٹھیں اور اللہ نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر اسے ظاہر فرما دیا تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے انہیں اس کا کچھ حصہ جِتا دیا اور کچھ حصہ (بتانے) سے چشم پوشی فرمائی، پھر جب نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے انہیں اِس کی خبر دے دی (کہ آپ راز اِفشاء کر بیٹھی ہیں) تو وہ بولیں: آپ کو یہ کس نے بتا دیا ہے؟ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ مجھے بڑے علم والے بڑی آگاہی والے (رب) نے بتا دیا ہے |
Yousuf Ali | When the Prophet disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his consorts, and she then divulged it (to another), and Allah made it known to him, he confirmed part thereof and repudiated a part. Then when he told her thereof, she said, "Who told thee this? "He said, "He told me Who knows and is well-acquainted (with all things)."
