Wa-itha qeela lahum taAAalawyastaghfir lakum rasoolu Allahi lawwaw ruoosahumwaraaytahum yasuddoona wahum mustakbiroona وإذا قيل لهم تعالوا يستغفر لكم رسول الله لووا رءوسهم ورأيتهم يصدون وهم مستكبرون
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا يَسْتَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ لَوَّوْا رُؤُوسَهُمْ وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ

  اور جب اُن سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ آؤ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تمہارے لئے مغفرت طلب فرمائیں تو یہ (منافق گستاخی سے) اپنے سر جھٹک کر پھیر لیتے ہیں اور آپ انہیں دیکھتے ہیں کہ وہ تکبر کرتے ہوئے (آپ کی خدمت میں آنے سے) گریز کرتے ہیں٭

Yousuf AliAnd when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allah will pray for your forgiveness", they turn aside their heads, and thou wouldst see them turning away their faces in arrogance.

Ahmed Aliاور جب ان سے کہا جائے کہ آؤ تمہارے لیے رسول الله مغفرت طلب کریں تو اپنے سر پھیر لیتے ہیں اور آپ انہیں دیکھیں گے کہ وہ رکتے ہیں ایسے حال میں کہ وہ تکبر کرنے والے ہیں

Shabbir Ahmed اور جب کہا جاتا ہے ان سے کہ آؤ مغفرت کی دعا کریں تمھارے لیے اللہ کے رسول تو گھماتے ہیں اپنے سروں کو (مذاق اڑانے کے لیے) اور دیکھو گے تم انھیں کہ وہ رک جاتے ہیں آنے سے بڑے گھمنڈ کے ساتھ۔

Abul Ala Maududiاور جب اِن سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ آؤ تاکہ اللہ کا رسول تمہارے لیے مغفرت کی دعا کرے، تو سر جھٹکتے ہیں اور تم دیکھتے ہو کہ وہ بڑے گھمنڈ کے ساتھ آنے سے رکتے ہیں

Yusuf AliAnd when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allah will pray for your forgiveness", they turn aside their heads, and thou wouldst see them turning away their faces in arrogance.

SarwarWhen they see some merchandise or some sport, they rush towards it and leave you alone standing. Say, "(God's rewards for good deeds) are better than merriment or merchandise; God is the best Sustainer".

Khalifa**When they are told, "Come let the messenger of GOD pray for your forgiveness," they mockingly turn their heads, and you see them repel others and act arrogantly.
Hilali/Khan**And when it is said to them: "Come, so that the Messenger of Allah may ask forgiveness from Allah for you", they turn aside their heads, and you would see them turning away their faces in pride.
