بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Wa-ith qala moosaliqawmihi ya qawmi lima tu/thoonanee waqadtaAAlamoona annee rasoolu Allahi ilaykum falamma zaghooazagha Allahu quloobahum waAllahu layahdee alqawma alfasiqeena وإذ قال موسى لقومه يا قوم لم تؤذونني وقد تعلمون أني رسول الله إليكم فلما زاغوا أزاغ الله قلوبهم والله لا يهدي القوم الفاسقين
وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ لِمَ تُؤْذُونَنِي وَقَد تَّعْلَمُونَ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوا أَزَاغَ اللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ
Tahir ul Qadri

  اور (اے حبیب! وہ وقت یاد کیجئے) جب موسٰی (علیہ السلام) نے اپنی قوم سے کہا: اے میری قوم! تم مجھے اذیت کیوں دیتے ہو حالانکہ تم جانتے ہو کہ میں تمہاری طرف اللہ کا بھیجا ہوا (رسول) ہوں۔ پھر جب انہوں نے کج روی جاری رکھی تو اللہ نے اُن کے دلوں کو ٹیڑھا کر دیا، اور اللہ نافرمان لوگوں کو ہدایت نہیں فرماتا

Yousuf AliAnd remember, Moses said to his people: "O my people! why do ye vex and insult me, though ye know that I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you?" Then when they went wrong, Allah let their hearts go wrong. For Allah guides not those who are rebellious transgressors.

Ahmed Aliاور جب موسیٰ نے اپنی قوم سے کہا کہ اے میری قوم مجھےکیوں ستاتے ہو حالانکہ تم جانتے ہو کہ میں تمہاری طرف الله کا رسول ہوں پس جب وہ پھر گئے تو الله نے ان کے دل پھیر دیئے اور الله نافرمان لوگو ں کو ہدایت نہیں کرتا
Ahmed Raza Khanاور یاد کرو جب موسیٰ نے اپنی قوم سے کہا، اے میری قوم مجھے کیوں ستاتے ہو حالانکہ تم جانتے ہو کہ میں تمہاری طرف اللہ کا رسول ہوں پھر جب وہ ٹیڑھے ہوئے اللہ نے ان کے دل ٹیڑھے کردیے اور اللہ فاسق لوگوں کو راہ نہیں دیتا
Shabbir Ahmed اور (یاد کرو)( جب کہا تھا موسیٰ نے اپنی قوم سے: اے میری قوم کے لوگو کیوں اذیت دیتے ہو تم مجھے حالانکہ تم خوب جانتے ہو کہ بلاشبہ میں اللہ کا رسول ہوں تمھاری طرف، لیکن جب انہوں نے کجی اختیار کی۔ تو ٹیڑھے کر دیے اللہ نے ان کے دل۔ اور اللہ ہدایت نہیں دیتا فاسق لوگوں کو۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyاور وہ وقت یاد کرنے کے لائق ہے جب موسیٰ نے اپنی قوم سے کہا کہ اے قوم! تم مجھے کیوں ایذا دیتے ہو حالانکہ تم جانتے ہو کہ میں تمہارے پاس خدا کا بھیجا ہوا آیا ہوں۔ تو جب ان لوگوں نے کج روی کی خدا نے بھی ان کے دل ٹیڑھے کردیئے۔ اور خدا نافرمانوں کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا
Mehmood Al Hassanاور جب کہا موسٰی نے اپنی قوم کو اے قوم میری کیوں ستاتے ہو مجھ کو اور تم کو معلوم ہے کہ میں اللہ کا بھیجا آیا ہوں تمہارے پاس پھر جب وہ پھر گئے تو پھیر دیے اللہ نے انکے دل اور اللہ راہ نہیں دیتا نافرمان لوگوں کو
Abul Ala Maududiاور یاد کرو موسیٰؑ کی وہ بات جو اس نے اپنی قوم سے کہی تھی "اے میری قوم کے لوگو، تم کیوں مجھے اذیت دیتے ہو حالانکہ تم خوب جانتے ہو کہ میں تمہاری طرف اللہ کا بھیجا ہوا رسول ہوں؟" پھر جب انہوں نے ٹیڑھ اختیار کی تو اللہ نے ان کے دل ٹیڑھے کر دیے، اللہ فاسقوں کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا

LiteralAnd when Moses said to his nation: "You my nation, why/for what (do) you harm mildly/harm me, and you have known that I am God's messenger to you?" So when they deviated/turned away, God deviated/turned away their hearts/minds , and God does not guide the nation, the debauchers .

Arberry And when Moses said to his people, 'O my people, why do you hurt me, though you know I am the Messenger of God to you?' When they swerved, God caused their hearts to swerve; and God. guides never the people of the ungodly.
ShakirAnd when Musa said to his people: O my people! why do you give me trouble? And you know indeed that I am Allah's messenger to you; but when they turned aside, Allah made their hearts turn aside, and Allah does not guide the transgressing people.
SarwarBelievers, do not establish friendship with the people who have become subject to the wrath of God. They do not have any hope in the life to come, just as the disbelievers have no hope in those who are in their graves.

MalikRemember what Moses said to his people: "O my people! Why do you vex me while you know that I am the Messenger of Allah towards you?" But in spite of this when they adopted perverseness, Allah let their hearts be perverted. Allah does not guide those who are transgressors.[5]

Khalifa**Recall that Moses said to his people, "O my people, why do you hurt me, even though you know that I am GOD's messenger to you?" When they deviated, GOD diverted their hearts. For GOD does not guide the wicked people
Hilali/Khan**And (remember) when Moosa (Moses) said to his people: "O my people! Why do you hurt me while you know certainly that I am the Messenger of Allah to you? So when they turned away (from the Path of Allah), Allah turned their hearts away (from the Right Path). And Allah guides not the people who are Fasiqoon (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).
QXP Shabbir Ahemd**(The people of Moses so frequently said what they did not do that) Moses had to tell them, "O My people! Why do you hurt me, even though you know that I am Allah's Messenger to you?" But when they kept deviating, Allah let their hearts deviate. For, Allah shows not the Way to those who keep drifting away from their word. ('Fasiq' = One who drifts away - from? - depends on the context).
