Wa-ith qala ibraheemuli-abeehi azara atattakhithu asnaman alihataninnee araka waqawmaka fee dalalin mubeenin وإذ قال إبراهيم لأبيه آزر أتتخذ أصناما آلهة إني أراك وقومك في ضلال مبين
وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ آزَرَ أَتَتَّخِذُ أَصْنَامًا آلِهَةً إِنِّي أَرَاكَ وَقَوْمَكَ فِي ضَلاَلٍ مُّبِينٍ

  اور (یاد کیجئے) جب ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) نے اپنے باپ آزر (جو حقیقت میں چچا تھا محاورۂ عرب میں اسے باپ کہا گیا ہے) سے کہا: کیا تم بتوں کو معبود بناتے ہو؟ بیشک میں تمہیں اور تمہاری قوم کو صریح گمراہی میں (مبتلا) دیکھتا ہوں
