| وأقسموا بالله جهد أيمانهم لئن جاءتهم آية ليؤمنن بها قل إنما الآيات عند الله وما يشعركم أنها إذا جاءت لا يؤمنون وَأَقْسَمُواْ بِاللّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ لَئِن جَاءَتْهُمْ آيَةٌ لَّيُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهَا قُلْ إِنَّمَا الْآيَاتُ عِندَ اللّهِ وَمَا يُشْعِرُكُمْ أَنَّهَا إِذَا جَاءَتْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ |

Tahir ul Qadri | وہ بڑے تاکیدی حلف کے ساتھ اللہ کی قَسم کھاتے ہیں کہ اگر ان کے پاس کوئی (کھلی) نشانی آجائے تو وہ اس پر ضرور ایمان لے آئیں گے۔ (ان سے) کہہ دو کہ نشانیاں توصرف اﷲ ہی کے پاس ہیں، اور (اے مسلمانو!) تمہیں کیا خبر کہ جب وہ نشانی آجائے گی (تو) وہ (پھر بھی) ایمان نہیں لائیں گے |
Yousuf Ali | They swear their strongest oaths by Allah, that if a (special) sign came to them, by it they would believe. Say: "Certainly (all) signs are in the power of Allah: but what will make you (Muslims) realise that (even) if (special) signs came, they will not believe."?
