Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola taqtuloo alssayda waantum hurumunwaman qatalahu minkum mutaAAammidan fajazaon mithlu maqatala mina alnnaAAami yahkumu bihi thawaAAadlin minkum hadyan baligha alkaAAbati aw kaffaratuntaAAamu masakeena aw AAadlu thalika siyamanliyathooqa wabala amrihi AAafa AllahuAAamma salafa waman AAada fayantaqimu Allahuminhu waAllahu AAazeezun thoo intiqamin يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تقتلوا الصيد وأنتم حرم ومن قتله منكم متعمدا فجزاء مثل ما قتل من النعم يحكم به ذوا عدل منكم هديا بالغ الكعبة أو كفارة طعام مساكين أو عدل ذلك صياما ليذوق وبال أمره عفا الله عما سلف ومن عاد فينتقم الله منه والله عزيز ذو انتقام
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَقْتُلُواْ الصَّيْدَ وَأَنتُمْ حُرُمٌ وَمَن قَتَلَهُ مِنكُم مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاءٌ مِّثْلُ مَا قَتَلَ مِنَ النَّعَمِ يَحْكُمُ بِهِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِّنكُمْ هَدْيًا بَالِغَ الْكَعْبَةِ أَوْ كَفَّارَةٌ طَعَامُ مَسَاكِينَ أَو عَدْلُ ذَلِكَ صِيَامًا لِّيَذُوقَ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِ عَفَا اللّهُ عَمَّا سَلَف وَمَنْ عَادَ فَيَنتَقِمُ اللّهُ مِنْهُ وَاللّهُ عَزِيزٌ ذُو انْتِقَامٍ
Tahir ul Qadri

  اے ایمان والو! تم احرام کی حالت میں شکار کو مت مارا کرو، اور تم میں سے جس نے (بحالتِ احرام) قصداً اسے مار ڈالا تو (اس کا) بدلہ مویشیوں میں سے اسی کے برابر (کوئی جانور) ہے جسے اس نے قتل کیا ہے جس کی نسبت تم میں سے دو عادل شخص فیصلہ کریں (کہ واقعی یہ جانور اس شکار کے برابر ہے بشرطیکہ) وہ قربانی کعبہ پہنچنے والی ہو یا (اس کا) کفّارہ چند محتاجوں کا کھانا ہے (یعنی جانور کی قیمت کے برابر معمول کا کھانا جتنے بھی محتاجوں کو پورا آجائے) یا اس کے برابر (یعنی جتنے محتاجوں کا کھانا بنے اس قدر) روزے ہیں تاکہ وہ اپنے کیے (کے بوجھ) کا مزہ چکھے۔ جو کچھ (اس سے) پہلے ہو گزرا اللہ نے اسے معاف فرما دیا، اور جو کوئی (ایسا کام) دوبارہ کرے گا تو اللہ اس سے (نافرمانی) کا بدلہ لے لے گا، اور اللہ بڑا غالب بدلہ لینے والا ہے

Yousuf AliO ye who believe! Kill not game while in the sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb. If any of you doth so intentionally, the compensation is an offering, brought to the Ka'ba, of a domestic animal equivalent to the one he killed, as adjudged by two just men among you; or by way of atonement, the feeding of the indigent; or its equivalent in fasts: that he may taste of the penalty of his deed. Allah forgives what is past: for repetition Allah will exact from him the penalty. For Allah is Exalted, and Lord of Retribution.

Ahmed Aliاے ایمان والو! جس وقت تم احرام میں ہو تو شکار کونہ قتل کرو اور جو کوئی تم میں سے اسےجان بوجھ کر مارے تو اس مارے ہوئے کے برابر مویشی میں سے اس پر بدلہ لازم ہے جو تم میں سے دو معتبر آدمی تجویز کریں بشرطیکہ قربانی کعبہ تک پہنچنے والی ہو یا کفارہ مسکینوں کا کھانا کھلانا ہو یا اس کے برابر روزے تاکہ اپنے کام کا وبال چکھے الله نے اس چیز کو معاف کیا جو گزر چکی اور جو کوئی پھر کرے گا الله اس سے بدلہ لے گا اور الله غالب بدلہ لینے والا ہے

Shabbir Ahmed اے ایمان والو! نہ مارو شکار جبکہ ہو تم احرام میں اور جو کوئی شکار مارے گا تم میں سے جان بُوجھ کر تو اس کا تاوان ہے مثل اس (شکار) کے جو مارا ہے اس نے کوئی مویشی، جس کا فیصلہ کریں گے دو منصف تم میں سے جو بطورِ نذرانہ پہنچایا جائے گا خانہ کعبہ تک یا کفارہ ہے کہ کھانا کھلائے مسکینوں کو یا ان کے برابر روزے رکھے تاکہ چکھے سزا اپنے کیے کی۔ معاف کیا اللہ نے وہ جو ہو چُکا پہلے اور جو کوئی دربارہ کرے گا تو بدلہ لے گا اللہ اس سے اور زبردست ہے، بدلہ لینے کی طاقت رکھتا ہے۔

Abul Ala Maududiاے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو! احرام کی حالت میں شکار نہ مارو، اور اگر تم میں سے کوئی جان بوجھ کر ایسا کر گزرے تو جو جانور اس نے مارا ہو اُسی کے ہم پلہ ایک جانور اُسے مویشیوں میں سے نذر دینا ہوگا جس کا فیصلہ تم میں سے دو عادل آدمی کریں گے، اور یہ نذرانہ کعبہ پہنچایا جائے گا، یا نہیں تو اِس گناہ کے کفارہ میں چند مسکینوں کو کھانا کھلانا ہوگا، یااس کے بقدر روزے رکھنے ہوں گے، تاکہ وہ اپنے کیے کا مزہ چکھے پہلے جو ہو چکا اُسے اللہ نے معاف کر دیا، لیکن اب اگر کسی نے اس حرکت کا اعادہ کیا تو اس سے اللہ بدلہ لے گا، اللہ سب پر غالب ہے اور بدلہ لینے کی طاقت رکھتا ہے

LiteralYou, you those who believed, do not kill the hunt/trapping, and you are forbidden/respecting for pilgrimage, and who intentionally/purposely killed it from you, so a reimbursement equal/similar (to) what he killed from the properties/livestock (the animals/birds), (two) of (B) justice/equality from you judges/rules with it (as) an offering reaching/delivered (to) the Kaaba , or substitution (of) feeding (the) poorest of poor/poor oppressed (P), or redemption (of) that (is) fasting , to taste/experience his matter's/affair's severity/bad consequences/evil results, God forgave/pardoned on what preceded, and who returned (again), so God revenges from Him, and God (is) glorious/mighty , (owner) of revenge.

PickthalO ye who believe! Kill no wild game while ye are on the pilgrimage. Whoso of you killeth it of set purpose he shall pay its forfeit in the equivalent of that which he hath killed, of domestic animals, the judge to be two men among you known for justice, (the forfeit) to be brought as an offering to the Ka'bah; or, for expiation, he shall feed poor persons, or the equivalent thereof in fasting, that he may taste the evil consequences of his deed. Allah forgiveth whatever (of this kind) may have happened in the past, but whoso relapseth, Allah will take retribution from him. Allah is Mighty, Able to Requite (the wrong).
Arberry O believers, slay not the game while you are in pilgrim sanctity; whosoever of you slays it wilfully, there shall be recompense -- the like of what he has slain, in flocks as shall be judged by two men of equity among you, an offering to reach the Kaaba; or expiation -- food for poor persons or the equivalent of that in fasting, so that he may taste the mischief of his action. God has pardoned what is past; but whoever offends again, God will take vengeance on him, God is All-mighty, Vengeful.
ShakirO you who believe! do not kill game while you are on pilgrimage, and whoever among you shall kill it intentionally, the compensation (of it) is the like of what he killed, from the cattle, as two just persons among you shall judge, as an offering to be brought to the Kaaba or the expiation (of it) is the feeding of the poor or the equivalent of it in fasting, that he may taste the unwholesome result of his deed; Allah has pardoned what is gone by; and whoever returns (to it), Allah will inflict retribution on him; and Allah is Mighty, Lord of Retribution.
SarwarBelievers, do not hunt when you are in the holy precinct. Whichever of you purposely kills game in the holy precinct has to offer, as an expiation, a sacrifice in the holy precinct which two just people among you would consider equal to the prey or food to a destitute person or has to fast (for an appointed time) to bear the burden of the penalty for his deed. God forgives whatever was done in the past, but He will take revenge on whoever returns to transgression, for He is Majestic and Capable of taking revenge.

Whosoever of you kills it willfully there shall be a recompense, the like of what he has slain from cattle as shall be judged by two just men among you, an offering to reach the Ka'bah; or expiation food for needy persons or the equivalent of that in fasting, so that he may taste the weight of the recompense of his action. Allah has pardoned what is past; but whoever offends again, Allah will take vengeance on him. Allah is the Almighty, Owner of Vengeance.
George SaleO true believers, kill no game while ye are on pilgrimage; whosoever among you shall kill any designedly, shall restore the like of what he shall have killed, in domestic animals, according to the determination of two just persons among you, to be brought as an offering to the Caaba; or in attonement thereof shall feed the poor; or instead thereof shall fast, that he may taste, the heinousness of his deed. God hath forgiven what is past, but whoever returneth to transgress, God will take vengeance on him; for God is mighty and able to avenge.

Khalifa**O you who believe, do not kill any game during pilgrimage. Anyone who kills any game on purpose, his fine shall be a number of livestock animals that is equivalent to the game animals he killed. The judgment shall be set by two equitable people among you. They shall make sure that the offerings reach the Ka`bah. Otherwise, he may expiate by feeding poor people, or by an equivalent fast to atone for his offense. GOD has pardoned past offenses. But if anyone returns to such an offense, GOD will avenge it. GOD is Almighty, Avenger.
Hilali/Khan**O you who believe! Kill not game while you are in a state of Ihram for Hajj or Umrah (pilgrimage), and whosoever of you kills it intentionally, the penalty is an offering, brought to the Kabah, of an eatable animal (i.e. sheep, goat, cow, etc.) equivalent to the one he killed, as adjudged by two just men among you; or, for expiation, he should feed Masakin (poor persons), or its equivalent in Saum (fasting), that he may taste the heaviness (punishment) of his deed. Allah has forgiven what is past, but whosoever commits it again, Allah will take retribution from him. And Allah is AllMighty, All-Able of Retribution.
QXP Shabbir Ahemd**O You who have chosen to be graced with belief! Do not kill animals of game while you are in the state of Pilgrimage. Whoever kills it intentionally, must send a Permissible domestic animal to the Ka'bah, as a gift for the needy. Two equitable persons will decide what domestic animal is equivalent to the game animal that was killed. They must ensure that the offering reaches the Ka'bah (for use by the needy pilgrims (22:28)). Or for expiation, feed some poor persons at a cost equal to the cost of the animal. If someone has no means to do that, then Abstinence (for three days as in Ramadan. Three days of Abstinence would equal feeding ten poor persons (5:89). Allah has pardoned past violations. An appropriate court shall punish those who persist in violating this Law. Allah is Almighty, Able to requite.
