| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[5:52] | Fatara allatheena feequloobihim maradun yusariAAoona feehim yaqooloonanakhsha an tuseebana da-iratun faAAasaAllahu an ya/tiya bialfathi aw amrin minAAindihi fayusbihoo AAala ma asarroofee anfusihim nadimeena |  فترى الذين في قلوبهم مرض يسارعون فيهم يقولون نخشى أن تصيبنا دائرة فعسى الله أن يأتي بالفتح أو أمر من عنده فيصبحوا على ما أسروا في أنفسهم نادمينفَتَرَى الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ يُسَارِعُونَ فِيهِمْ يَقُولُونَ نَخْشَى أَن تُصِيبَنَا دَآئِرَةٌ فَعَسَى اللّهُ أَن يَأْتِيَ بِالْفَتْحِ أَوْ أَمْرٍ مِّنْ عِندِهِ فَيُصْبِحُواْ عَلَى مَا أَسَرُّواْ فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ نَادِمِينَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | سو آپ ایسے لوگوں کو دیکھیں گے جن کے دلوں میں (نفاق اور ذہنوں میں غلامی کی) بیماری ہے کہ وہ ان (یہود و نصارٰی) میں (شامل ہونے کے لئے) دوڑتے ہیں، کہتے ہیں: ہمیں خوف ہے کہ ہم پر کوئی گردش (نہ) آجائے (یعنی ان کے ساتھ ملنے سے شاید ہمیں تحفظ مل جائے)، تو بعید نہیں کہ اﷲ (واقعۃً مسلمانوں کی) فتح لے آئے یا اپنی طرف سے کوئی امر (فتح و کامرانی کا نشان بنا کر بھیج دے) تو یہ لوگ اس (منافقانہ سوچ) پر جسے یہ اپنے دلوں میں چھپائے ہوئے ہیں شرمندہ ہوکر رہ جائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those in whose hearts is a disease - thou seest how eagerly they run about amongst them, saying: "We do fear lest a change of fortune bring us disaster." Ah! perhaps Allah will give (thee) victory, or a decision according to His will. Then will they repent of the thoughts which they secretly harboured in their hearts.

| Abul Ala Maududi | تم دیکھتے ہو کہ جن کے دلوں میں نفاق کی بیماری ہے وہ اُنہی میں دوڑ دھوپ کرتے پھرتے ہیں کہتے ہیں "ہمیں ڈر لگتا ہے کہ کہیں ہم کسی مصیبت کے چکر میں نہ پھنس جائیں" مگر بعید نہیں کہ اللہ جب تمہیں فیصلہ کن فتح بخشے گا یا اپنی طرف سے کوئی اور بات ظاہر کرے گا تو یہ لوگ اپنے اِس نفاق پر جسے یہ دلوں میں چھپائے ہوئے ہیں نادم ہوں گے | ||||||

| Literal | So you see those who in their hearts/minds (is) sickness/disease, they rush/speed in (to) them, they say: "We fear that disaster strikes/hits us, so maybe that God comes with the victory or an order/matter from at Him." So they become on what they kept secret in themselves regretful . | ||||||

But soon when Allah gives you victory or a decision according to His will, they will regret for what they are hiding in their hearts.[52] | ||||||
