SammaAAoona lilkathibi akkaloonalilssuhti fa-in jaooka faohkumbaynahum aw aAArid AAanhum wa-in tuAArid AAanhumfalan yadurrooka shay-an wa-in hakamta faohkumbaynahum bialqisti inna Allaha yuhibbualmuqsiteena سماعون للكذب أكالون للسحت فإن جاءوك فاحكم بينهم أو أعرض عنهم وإن تعرض عنهم فلن يضروك شيئا وإن حكمت فاحكم بينهم بالقسط إن الله يحب المقسطين
سَمَّاعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ أَكَّالُونَ لِلسُّحْتِ فَإِن جَآؤُوكَ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُم أَوْ أَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَإِن تُعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ فَلَن يَضُرُّوكَ شَيْئًا وَإِنْ حَكَمْتَ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُمْ بِالْقِسْطِ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ

  (یہ لوگ) جھوٹی باتیں بنانے کے لئے جاسوسی کرنے والے ہیں (مزید یہ کہ) حرام مال خوب کھانے والے ہیں۔ سو اگر (یہ لوگ) آپ کے پاس (کوئی نزاعی معاملہ لے کر) آئیں تو آپ (کو اختیار ہے کہ) ان کے درمیان فیصلہ فرمادیں یا ان سے گریز فرما لیں، اور اگر آپ ان سے گریز (بھی) فرمالیں تو (تب بھی) یہ آپ کو ہرگز کوئی ضرر نہیں پہنچا سکتے، اور اگر آپ فیصلہ فرمائیں تو ان کے درمیان (بھی) عدل سے (ہی) فیصلہ فرمائیں (یعنی ان کی دشمنی عادلانہ فیصلے میں رکاوٹ نہ بنے)، بیشک اﷲ عدل کرنے والوں کو پسند فرماتا ہے

Yousuf Ali(They are fond of) listening to falsehood, of devouring anything forbidden. If they do come to thee, either judge between them, or decline to interfere. If thou decline, they cannot hurt thee in the least. If thou judge, judge in equity between them. For Allah loveth those who judge in equity.

Ahmed Aliجھوٹ بولنے کے لیے جاسوسی کرنے والے ہیں اور بہت حرام کھانے والے ہیں سو اگر وہ تیرے پاس آئیں تو ان میں فیصلہ کر دے یا ان سے منہ پھیر لے اور اگر تو ان سے منہ پھیر لے گا تو وہ تیرا کچھ نہ بگاڑ سکیں گے اور اگر تو فیصلہ کرے تو ان میں انصاف سے فیصلہ کر بے شک الله انصاف کرنے والوں کو دوست رکھتا ہے

Fateh Muhammad Jalandhary(یہ) جھوٹی باتیں بنانے کے جاسوسی کرنے والے اور (رشوت کا) حرام مال کھانے والے ہیں اگر یہ تمہارے پاس (کوئی مقدمہ فیصل کرانے کو) آئیں تو تم ان میں فیصلہ کر دینا یا اعراض کرنا اور اگر ان سے اعراض کرو گے تو وہ تمہارا کچھ بھی نہیں بگاڑ سکیں گے اور اگر فیصلہ کرنا چاہو تو انصاف کا فیصلہ کرنا کہ خدا انصاف کرنے والوں کو دوست رکھتا ہے

Abul Ala Maududiیہ جھوٹ سننے والے اور حرام کے مال کھانے والے ہیں، لہٰذا اگر یہ تمہارے پاس (اپنے مقدمات لے کر) آئیں تو تمہیں اختیار دیا جاتا ہے کہ چاہو ان کا فیصلہ کرو ورنہ انکار کر دو انکار کر دو تو یہ تمہارا کچھ بگاڑ نہیں سکتے، اور فیصلہ کرو تو پھر ٹھیک ٹھیک انصاف کے ساتھ کرو کہ اللہ انصاف کرنے والوں کو پسند کرتا ہے

Literal(They are) often listening/hearing to the lie/falsehood, gluttons/eating exaggeratedly to the forbidden/possession through cheatery , so if they came to you, so judge/rule between them or turn away from them, and if you turn away from them, so they will never/not harm you (in) a thing, and if you judged/ruled, so judge/rule between them with the just/equitable, that God loves/likes the just/equitable.

If they come to you asking to judge among them, the choice to accept or reject their request is yours. You have the right to disclaim jurisdiction since they have not yet accepted the Qur'an and they have the Torah. If you disclaim jurisdiction they cannot harm you at all.
