| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[5:19] | Ya ahla alkitabi qad jaakumrasooluna yubayyinu lakum AAala fatratin mina alrrusulian taqooloo ma jaana min basheerin walanatheerin faqad jaakum basheerun wanatheerunwaAllahu AAala kulli shay-in qadeerun |  يا أهل الكتاب قد جاءكم رسولنا يبين لكم على فترة من الرسل أن تقولوا ما جاءنا من بشير ولا نذير فقد جاءكم بشير ونذير والله على كل شيء قديريَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ عَلَى فَتْرَةٍ مِّنَ الرُّسُلِ أَن تَقُولُواْ مَا جَاءَنَا مِن بَشِيرٍ وَلاَ نَذِيرٍ فَقَدْ جَاءَكُم بَشِيرٌ وَنَذِيرٌ وَاللّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اے اہلِ کتاب! بیشک تمہارے پاس ہمارے (یہ آخر الزمان) رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پیغمبروں کی آمد (کے سلسلے) کے منقطع ہونے (کے موقع) پر تشریف لائے ہیں، جو تمہارے لئے (ہمارے احکام) خوب واضح کرتے ہیں، (اس لئے) کہ تم (عذر کرتے ہوئے یہ) کہہ دوگے کہ ہمارے پاس نہ (تو) کوئی خوشخبری سنانے والا آیا ہے اور نہ ڈر سنانے والا۔ (اب تمہارا یہ عذر بھی ختم ہو چکا ہے کیونکہ) بلاشبہ تمہارے پاس (آخری) خوشخبری سنانے اور ڈر سنانے والا (بھی) آگیا ہے، اور اﷲ ہر چیز پر بڑا قادر ہے | ||||||

Now hath come unto you, making (things) clear unto you, Our Messenger, after the break in (the series of) our messengers, lest ye should say: "There came unto us no bringer of glad tidings and no warner (from evil)": But now hath come unto you a bringer of glad tidings and a warner (from evil). And Allah hath power over all things.

So (an) announcer and a warner/giver of notice had come to you, and God was/is on every thing capable/able. | ||||||
