Waallathee qala liwalidayhioffin lakuma ataAAidaninee an okhraja waqad khalatialquroonu min qablee wahuma yastagheethani Allahawaylaka amin inna waAAda Allahi haqqunfayaqoolu ma hatha illa asateerual-awwaleena والذي قال لوالديه أف لكما أتعدانني أن أخرج وقد خلت القرون من قبلي وهما يستغيثان الله ويلك آمن إن وعد الله حق فيقول ما هذا إلا أساطير الأولين
وَالَّذِي قَالَ لِوَالِدَيْهِ أُفٍّ لَّكُمَا أَتَعِدَانِنِي أَنْ أُخْرَجَ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ الْقُرُونُ مِن قَبْلِي وَهُمَا يَسْتَغِيثَانِ اللَّهَ وَيْلَكَ آمِنْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَيَقُولُ مَا هَذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

  اور جس نے اپنے والدین سے کہا: تم سے بیزاری ہے، تم مجھے (یہ) وعدہ دیتے ہو کہ میں (قبر سے دوبارہ زندہ کر کے) نکالا جاؤں گا حالانکہ مجھ سے پہلے بہت سی امتیں گزر چکیں۔ اب وہ دونوں (ماں باپ) اللہ سے فریاد کرنے لگے (اور لڑکے سے کہا:) تو ہلاک ہوگا۔ (اے لڑکے!) ایمان لے آ، بیشک اللہ کا وعدہ حق ہے۔ تو وہ (جواب میں) کہتا ہے: یہ (باتیں) اگلے لوگوں کے جھوٹے افسانوں کے سوا (کچھ) نہیں ہیں

Yousuf AliBut (there is one) who says to his parents, "Fie on you! Do ye hold out the promise to me that I shall be raised up, even though generations have passed before me (without rising again)?" And they two seek Allah's aid, (and rebuke the son): "Woe to thee! Have faith! for the promise of Allah is true." But he says, "This is nothing but tales of the ancients!"

Ahmed Aliاور جس نے اپنے ماں باپ سے کہا کہ تم پر تف ہے کیاتم مجھے یہ وعدہ دیتے ہو کہ میں قبر سے نکالا جاؤں گا حالانکہ مجھ سے پہلے بہت سی امتیں گزر گئیں اور وہ دونوں الله سے فریاد کر رہے ہیں کہ ارے تیرا ناس ہو ایمان لا بے شک الله کاوعدہ سچا ہے پھر وہ کہتا ہے یہ ہے کیا مگر پہلوں کے افسانے

Shabbir Ahmed اور وہ شخص جو کہتا ہے اپنے والدین سے کہ میں بیزار ہوں تم سے کیا تم مجھے خوف دلاتے ہو اس بات سے کہ میں نکالا جاؤں گا (قبر سے مرنے کے بعد) حلانکہ گزرچکی ہیں بہت سی نسلیں مجھ سے پہلے (ان میں سے کوئی نہیں اٹھا) اور ماں باپ اللہ کی دہائی دے کر کہتے ہیں: ارے بدنصیب! ایمان لے آ۔ اور جان لے کہ اللہ کا وعدہ سچا ہے مگر وہ کہتا ہے کہ نہیں ہیں یہ باتیں مگر کہانیاں اگے وقتوں کی۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyاور جس شخص نے اپنے ماں باپ سے کہا کہ اُف اُف! تم مجھے یہ بتاتے ہو کہ میں (زمین سے) نکالا جاؤں گا حالانکہ بہت سے لوگ مجھ سے پہلے گزر چکے ہیں۔ اور وہ دونوں خدا کی جناب میں فریاد کرتے (ہوئے کہتے) تھے کہ کم بخت ایمان لا۔ خدا کا وعدہ تو سچا ہے۔ تو کہنے لگا یہ تو پہلے لوگوں کی کہانیاں ہیں

Abul Ala Maududiاور جس شخص نے اپنے والدین سے کہا "اُف، تنگ کر دیا تم نے، کیا تم مجھے یہ خوف دلاتے ہو کہ میں مرنے کے بعد پھر قبر سے نکالا جاؤں گا حالانکہ مجھ سے پہلے بہت سی نسلیں گزر چکی ہیں (اُن میں سے تو کوئی اٹھ کر نہ آیا)" ماں اور باپ اللہ کی دوہائی دے کر کہتے ہیں "ارے بدنصیب، مان جا، اللہ کا وعدہ سچا ہے" مگر وہ کہتا ہے "یہ سب اگلے وقتوں کی فرسودہ کہانیاں ہیں"

And they (B), they (B) seek/ask for help (from) God: "Your calamity/scandal/woe believe, that truly God's promise (is) truth ." So he says: "That (is) not except the first's/beginner's myths/baseless stories ."

PickthalAnd whoso saith unto his parents: Fie upon you both! Do ye threaten me that I shall be brought forth (again) when generations before me have passed away? And they twain cry unto Allah for help (and say): Woe unto thee! Believe! Lo! the promise of Allah is true. But he saith: This is naught save fables of the men of old:

Do you promise me that I shall be brought forth, when already generations have passed away before me?' while they call upon God for succour -- 'Woe upon thee! SarwarSuch people will be subject to the punishment of God, which was also decreed for many human beings and jinn before them. These people are certainly lost.

Khalifa**Then there is the one who says to his parents, "Woe to you; are you telling me that (after death) I will come back to life? How come those who died before us never come back?" The parents would cry for GOD's help and say, "Woe to you; please believe! GOD's promise is the truth." He would say, "Tales from the past!"

While they (father and mother) invoke Allah for help (and rebuke their son): "Woe to you! Believe! Verily, the Promise of Allah is true." But he says: "This is nothing but the tales of the ancient."
