YasmaAAu ayati Allahitutla AAalayhi thumma yusirru mustakbiran kaan lamyasmaAAha fabashshirhu biAAathabin aleemin يسمع آيات الله تتلى عليه ثم يصر مستكبرا كأن لم يسمعها فبشره بعذاب أليم
يَسْمَعُ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَسْمَعْهَا فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ

  جو اللہ کی (اُن) آیتوں کو سنتا ہے جو اُس پر پڑھ پڑھ کر سنائی جاتی ہیں پھر (اپنے کفر پر) اصرار کرتا ہے تکبّر کرتے ہوئے، گویا اُس نے انہیں سنا ہی نہیں، تو آپ اسے دردناک عذاب کی بشارت دے دیں

Ahmed Aliجو آیات الہیٰ سنتا ہے جو اس پر پڑھی جاتی ہیں پھر نا حق تکبر کی وجہ سے اصرار کرتا ہے گویاکہ اس نے سنا ہی نہیں پس اسے دردناک عذاب کی خوشخبری دے دو
