Waman yaqtul mu/minan mutaAAammidan fajazaohujahannamu khalidan feeha waghadiba AllahuAAalayhi walaAAanahu waaAAadda lahu AAathaban AAatheeman ومن يقتل مؤمنا متعمدا فجزاؤه جهنم خالدا فيها وغضب الله عليه ولعنه وأعد له عذابا عظيما
وَمَن يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَآؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا

  اور جو شخص کسی مسلمان کو قصداً قتل کرے تو اس کی سزا دوزخ ہے کہ مدتوں اس میں رہے گا اور اس پر اللہ غضبناک ہوگا اور اس پر لعنت کرے گا اور اس نے اس کے لئے زبردست عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے

Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyاور جو شخص مسلمان کو قصداً مار ڈالے گا تو اس کی سزا دوزخ ہے جس میں وہ ہمیشہ (جلتا) رہے گا اور خدا اس پر غضبناک ہوگا اور اس پر لعنت کرے گا اور ایسے شخص کے لئے اس نے بڑا (سخت) عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے
Mehmood Al Hassanاور جو کوئی قتل کرے مسلمان کو جان کر تو اس کی سزا دوزخ ہے پڑا رہے گا اسی میں اور اللہ کا اس پر غضب ہوا اور اس کو لعنت کی اور اسکے واسطے تیار کیا بڑا عذاب
Abul Ala Maududiرہا وہ شخص جو کسی مومن کو جان بوجھ کر قتل کرے تو اُس کی جزا جہنم ہے جس میں وہ ہمیشہ رہے گا اس پر اللہ کا غضب اور اُس کی لعنت ہے اور اللہ نے اس کے لیے سخت عذاب مہیا کر رکھا ہے

QXP Shabbir Ahemd**Whoever slays a believer intentionally, his or her maximum punishment, considering the circumstances, is up to capital punishment (2:178), (5:32-33). His requital shall be Hell, therein to abide, and Allah will condemn him, and reject him and prepare for him awesome suffering. (Unjust killing of any human being, regardless of color, creed, religion or sex is a grievous offense that is tantamount to slaying the entire humankind (5:32). Hence, the offender shall be punished accordingly. Intentional murder of any human being is also a crime against the State, therefore, the State would be responsible for tracing, arresting and trying the offender in a court of law. QISAS = the duty of tracing an offender for just recompense).
