Wama lakum la tuqatiloonafee sabeeli Allahi waalmustadAAafeena mina alrrijaliwaalnnisa-i waalwildani allatheenayaqooloona rabbana akhrijna min hathihialqaryati alththalimi ahluhawaijAAal lana min ladunka waliyyan waijAAallana min ladunka naseeran وما لكم لا تقاتلون في سبيل الله والمستضعفين من الرجال والنساء والولدان الذين يقولون ربنا أخرجنا من هذه القرية الظالم أهلها واجعل لنا من لدنك وليا واجعل لنا من لدنك نصيرا
وَمَا لَكُمْ لاَ تُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ وَالْوِلْدَانِ الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْ هَـذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ الظَّالِمِ أَهْلُهَا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ نَصِيرًا

  اور (مسلمانو!) تمہیں کیا ہوگیا ہے کہ تم اللہ کی راہ میں (غلبۂ دین کے لئے) اور ان بے بس (مظلوم و مقہور) مردوں، عورتوں اور بچوں (کی آزادی) کے لئے جنگ نہیں کرتے جو (ظلم و ستم سے تنگ ہو کر) پکارتے ہیں: اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں اس بستی سے نکال لے جہاں کے (وڈیرے) لوگ ظالم ہیں، اور کسی کو اپنی بارگاہ سے ہمارا کارساز مقرر فرما دے، اور کسی کو اپنی بارگاہ سے ہمارا مددگار بنا دے

Ahmed Aliاور کیا وجہ ہے کہ تم الله کی راہ میں ان بے بس مردوں اور عورتوں اور بچوں کی خاطر نہ لڑو جو کہتے ہیں اے ہمارے رب ہمیں اس بستی سے نکال جس کے باشندے ظالم ہیں اور ہمارے واسطے اپنے ہاں سے کوئی حمایتی کر دے اور ہمارے واسطےاپنے ہاں سے کوئی مددگار بنا دے
