Fakayfa itha asabat-hum museebatunbima qaddamat aydeehim thumma jaooka yahlifoonabiAllahi in aradna illa ihsananwatawfeeqan فكيف إذا أصابتهم مصيبة بما قدمت أيديهم ثم جاءوك يحلفون بالله إن أردنا إلا إحسانا وتوفيقا
فَكَيْفَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ جَآؤُوكَ يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللّهِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَا إِلاَّ إِحْسَانًا وَتَوْفِيقًا

  پھر (اس وقت) ان کی حالت کیا ہوگی جب اپنی کارستانیوں کے باعث ان پر کوئی مصیبت آن پڑے تو اللہ کی قَسمیں کھاتے ہوئے آپ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوں (اور یہ کہیں) کہ ہم نے تو صرف بھلائی اور باہمی موافقت کا ہی ارادہ کیا تھا

Shabbir Ahmed پھر کیا کیفیّت ہوتی ہے جب آپڑتی ہے ان پر، کوئی مصیبت بسبب اس کے جو کیا ہوتا ہے ان کے اپنے ہاتھوں نے، پھر آتے ہیں تمہارے پاس قسمیں کھاتے ہوئے اللہ کی کہ نہیں تھا ہمارا ارادہ مگر بھلائی اور (فریقین میں) موافقت کرانا۔

Abul Ala Maududiپھر اس وقت کیا ہوتا ہے جب اِن کے اپنے ہاتھوں کی لائی ہوئی مصیبت ان پر آ پڑتی ہے؟ اُس وقت یہ تمہارے پاس قسمیں کھاتے ہوئے آتے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں کہ خدا کی قسم ہم تو صرف بھلائی چاہتے تھے اور ہماری نیت تو یہ تھی کہ فریقین میں کسی طرح موافقت ہو جائے
