| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[4:171] | Ya ahla alkitabi lataghloo fee deenikum wala taqooloo AAala Allahiilla alhaqqa innama almaseehu AAeesaibnu maryama rasoolu Allahi wakalimatuhu alqahaila maryama waroohun minhu faaminoo biAllahiwarusulihi wala taqooloo thalathatun intahookhayran lakum innama Allahu ilahun wahidunsubhanahu an yakoona lahu waladun lahu ma fee alssamawatiwama fee al-ardi wakafa biAllahiwakeelan |  يا أهل الكتاب لا تغلوا في دينكم ولا تقولوا على الله إلا الحق إنما المسيح عيسى ابن مريم رسول الله وكلمته ألقاها إلى مريم وروح منه فآمنوا بالله ورسله ولا تقولوا ثلاثة انتهوا خيرا لكم إنما الله إله واحد سبحانه أن يكون له ولد له ما في السماوات وما في الأرض وكفى بالله وكيلايَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لاَ تَغْلُواْ فِي دِينِكُمْ وَلاَ تَقُولُواْ عَلَى اللّهِ إِلاَّ الْحَقِّ إِنَّمَا الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُ أَلْقَاهَا إِلَى مَرْيَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِّنْهُ فَآمِنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَلاَ تَقُولُواْ ثَلاَثَةٌ انتَهُواْ خَيْرًا لَّكُمْ إِنَّمَا اللّهُ إِلَـهٌ وَاحِدٌ سُبْحَانَهُ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَات وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ وَكَفَى بِاللّهِ وَكِيلاً | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اے اہلِ کتاب! تم اپنے دین میں حد سے زائد نہ بڑھو اور اﷲ کی شان میں سچ کے سوا کچھ نہ کہو، حقیقت صرف یہ ہے کہ مسیح عیسٰی ابن مریم (علیہما السلام) اﷲ کا رسول اور اس کا کلمہ ہے جسے اس نے مریم کی طرف پہنچا دیا اور اس (کی طرف) سے ایک روح ہے۔ پس تم اﷲ اور اس کے رسولوں پر ایمان لاؤ اور مت کہو کہ (معبود) تین ہیں، (اس عقیدہ سے) باز آجاؤ، (یہ) تمہارے لئے بہتر ہے۔ بیشک اﷲ ہی یکتا معبود ہے، وہ اس سے پاک ہے کہ اس کے لئے کوئی اولاد ہو، (سب کچھ) اسی کا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے، اور اﷲ کا کارساز ہونا کافی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.
