Wama ataytum min ribanliyarbuwa fee amwali alnnasi falayarboo AAinda Allahi wama ataytum min zakatintureedoona wajha Allahi faola-ika humu almudAAifoona وما آتيتم من ربا ليربو في أموال الناس فلا يربو عند الله وما آتيتم من زكاة تريدون وجه الله فأولئك هم المضعفون
وَمَا آتَيْتُم مِّن رِّبًا لِّيَرْبُوَاْ فِي أَمْوَالِ النَّاسِ فَلَا يَرْبُوا عِندَ اللَّهِ وَمَا آتَيْتُم مِّن زَكَاةٍ تُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُضْعِفُونَ
Tahir ul Qadri

  اور جو مال تم سود پر دیتے ہو تاکہ (تمہارا اثاثہ) لوگوں کے مال میں مل کر بڑھتا رہے تو وہ اﷲ کے نزدیک نہیں بڑھے گا اور جو مال تم زکوٰۃ (و خیرات) میں دیتے ہو (فقط) اﷲ کی رضا چاہتے ہوئے تو وہی لوگ (اپنا مال عند اﷲ) کثرت سے بڑھانے والے ہیں

Yousuf AliThat which ye lay out for increase through the property of (other) people, will have no increase with Allah: but that which ye lay out for charity, seeking the Countenance of Allah, (will increase): it is these who will get a recompense multiplied.

Ahmed Aliاور جو سود پر تم دیتے ہو تاکہ لوگوں کے مال میں بڑھتا رہے سو الله کے ہاں وہ نہیں بڑھتا اور جو زکواة دیتے ہو جس سے الله کی رضا چاہتے ہو سو یہ وہ ہی لوگ ہیں جن کے دونے ہوئے

Shabbir Ahmed اور جو لین دین کرتے ہو تم کسی قسم کے سود کا تاکہ اضافہ ہو لوگوں کے مالوں میں تو نہیں اضافہ ہوتا اللہ کے نزدیک اور جو دیتے ہو تم کسی قسم کی زکوٰۃ، حاصل کرنے کے لیے خوشنودی اللہ کی سو ایسے ہی لوگ ہیں (اپنامال) بڑھانے والے۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyاور جو تم سود دیتے ہو کہ لوگوں کے مال میں افزائش ہو تو خدا کے نزدیک اس میں افزائش نہیں ہوتی اور جو تم زکوٰة دیتے ہو اور اُس سے خدا کی رضا مندی طلب کرتے ہو تو (وہ موجبِ برکت ہے اور) ایسے ہی لوگ (اپنے مال کو) دو چند سہ چند کرنے والے ہیں
Mehmood Al Hassanاور جو دیتے ہو بیاج پر کہ بڑھتا رہے لوگوں کے مال میں سو وہ نہیں بڑھتا اللہ کے یہاں اور جو دیتے ہو پاک دل سے چاہ کر رضامندی اللہ کی سو یہ وہی ہیں جن کے دونے ہوئے
Abul Ala Maududiجو سُود تم دیتے ہو تاکہ لوگوں کے اموال میں شامل ہو کر وہ بڑھ جائے، اللہ کے نزدیک وہ نہیں بڑھتا، اور جو زکوٰۃ تم اللہ کی خوشنودی حاصل کرنے کے ارادے سے دیتے ہو، اسی کے دینے والے در حقیقت اپنے مال بڑھاتے ہیں

LiteralAnd what you gave/brought from a growth/increase/any interest (mortgages etc.) to grow/increase in the people's properties/wealths , so (it) does not grow/increase at God, and what you gave/brought from charity/purification , you want/intend God's face/front/direction, so those, they are the doublers/multipliers.
Yusuf AliThat which ye lay out for increase through the property of (other) people, will have no increase with Allah: but that which ye lay out for charity, seeking the Countenance of Allah, (will increase): it is these who will get a recompense multiplied.
PickthalThat which ye give in usury in order that it may increase on (other) people's property hath no increase with Allah; but that which ye give in charity, seeking Allah's Countenance, hath increase manifold.
Arberry And what you give in usury, that it may increase upon the people's wealth, increases not with God; but what you give in alms, desiring God's Face, those -- they receive recompense manifold.
ShakirAnd whatever you lay out as usury, so that it may increase in the property of men, it shall not increase with Allah; and whatever you give in charity, desiring Allah's pleasure-- it is these (persons) that shall get manifold.
SarwarGod will not allow to increase whatever illegal interest you try to receive in order to increase your wealth at the expense of people's property. Whatever amount of zakat you give to please God will be doubled (for you).
H/K/SaheehAnd whatever you give for interest to increase within the wealth of people will not increase with Allah. But what you give in zakah, desiring the countenance of Allah those are the multipliers.
MalikThat usury which you give to increase the wealth of people, does not increase with Allah: but the Zakah that you give to seek the pleasure of Allah, shall be repaid to you many times over.[39]
