Inna allatheena tawallaw minkumyawma iltaqa aljamAAani innama istazallahumualshshaytanu bibaAAdi ma kasaboowalaqad AAafa Allahu AAanhum inna Allahaghafoorun haleemun إن الذين تولوا منكم يوم التقى الجمعان إنما استزلهم الشيطان ببعض ما كسبوا ولقد عفا الله عنهم إن الله غفور حليم
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَوَلَّوْاْ مِنكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ إِنَّمَا اسْتَزَلَّهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِبَعْضِ مَا كَسَبُواْ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا اللّهُ عَنْهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ

  بیشک جو لوگ تم میں سے اس دن بھاگ کھڑے ہوئے تھے جب دونوں فوجیں آپس میں گتھم گتھا ہو گئی تھیں تو انہیں محض شیطان نے پھسلا دیا تھا، ان کے کسی عمل کے باعث جس کے وہ مرتکب ہوئے، بیشک اللہ نے انہیں معاف فرما دیا، یقینا اللہ بہت بخشنے والا بڑے حلم والا ہے

Yousuf AliThose of you who turned back on the day the two hosts Met,-it was Satan who caused them to fail, because of some (evil) they had done. But Allah Has blotted out (their fault): For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Forbearing.

Abul Ala Maududiتم میں سے جو لوگ مقابلہ کے دن پیٹھ پھیر گئے تھے اُن کی ا ِس لغزش کا سبب یہ تھا کہ ان کی بعض کمزوریوں کی وجہ سے شیطان نے اُن کے قدم ڈگمگا دیے تھے اللہ نے انہیں معاف کر دیا، اللہ بہت درگزر کرنے والا اور بردبار ہے

QXP Shabbir Ahemd**Those of you, who turned back on that day when the two armies clashed, it was their selfish desire which caused them to backslide. This happened because of their imperfections. Allah pardoned them (since their good outweighed their shortcomings). Allah is Forgiving, Forbearing.
