| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [3:135] | Waallatheena ithafaAAaloo fahishatan aw thalamoo anfusahum thakarooAllaha faistaghfaroo lithunoobihim wamanyaghfiru alththunooba illa Allahuwalam yusirroo AAala ma faAAaloo wahumyaAAlamoona |  والذين إذا فعلوا فاحشة أو ظلموا أنفسهم ذكروا الله فاستغفروا لذنوبهم ومن يغفر الذنوب إلا الله ولم يصروا على ما فعلوا وهم يعلمونوَالَّذِينَ إِذَا فَعَلُواْ فَاحِشَةً أَوْ ظَلَمُواْ أَنْفُسَهُمْ ذَكَرُواْ اللّهَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُواْ لِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَمَن يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ اللّهُ وَلَمْ يُصِرُّواْ عَلَى مَا فَعَلُواْ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (یہ) ایسے لوگ ہیں کہ جب کوئی برائی کر بیٹھتے ہیں یا اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کر بیٹھتے ہیں تو اللہ کا ذکر کرتے ہیں پھر اپنے گناہوں کی معافی مانگتے ہیں، اور اللہ کے سوا گناہوں کی بخشش کون کرتا ہے، اور پھر جو گناہ وہ کر بیٹھے تھے ان پر جان بوجھ کر اصرار بھی نہیں کرتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And those who, having done something to be ashamed of, or wronged their own souls, earnestly bring Allah to mind, and ask for forgiveness for their sins,- and who can forgive sins except Allah?- and are never obstinate in persisting knowingly in (the wrong) they have done.

| Literal | And those who if they made/did an enormous/atrocious deed , they caused injustice (to) themselves, they mentioned/remembered God, so they asked for forgiveness for their crimes, and who forgives the crimes except God? And they did not insist/persist on what they made/did, and they know . | ||||||
