Falamma qada moosaal-ajala wasara bi-ahlihi anasa min janibi alttoorinaran qala li-ahlihi omkuthoo innee anastu naranlaAAallee ateekum minha bikhabarin aw jathwatinmina alnnari laAAallakum tastaloona فلما قضى موسى الأجل وسار بأهله آنس من جانب الطور نارا قال لأهله امكثوا إني آنست نارا لعلي آتيكم منها بخبر أو جذوة من النار لعلكم تصطلون
فَلَمَّا قَضَى مُوسَى الْأَجَلَ وَسَارَ بِأَهْلِهِ آنَسَ مِن جَانِبِ الطُّورِ نَارًا قَالَ لِأَهْلِهِ امْكُثُوا إِنِّي آنَسْتُ نَارًا لَّعَلِّي آتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ جَذْوَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ

  پھر جب موسٰی (علیہ السلام) نے مقررہ مدت پوری کر لی اور اپنی اہلیہ کو لے کر چلے (تو) انہوں نے طور کی جانب سے ایک آگ دیکھی (وہ شعلۂ حسنِ مطلق تھا جس کی طرف آپ کی طبیعت مانوس ہوگئی)، انہوں نے اپنی اہلیہ سے فرمایا: تم (یہیں) ٹھہرو میں نے آگ دیکھی ہے۔ شاید میں تمہارے لئے اس (آگ) سے کچھ (اُس کی) خبر لاؤں (جس کی تلاش میں مدتوں سے سرگرداں ہوں) یا آتشِ (سوزاں) کی کوئی چنگاری (لادوں) تاکہ تم (بھی) تپ اٹھو

Yousuf AliNow when Moses had fulfilled the term, and was travelling with his family, he perceived a fire in the direction of Mount Tur. He said to his family: "Tarry ye; I perceive a fire; I hope to bring you from there some information, or a burning firebrand, that ye may warm yourselves."

Shabbir Ahmed غرض جب پُوری کرلی موسیٰ نے مُدّت اور لے کر چلے اپنے گھروالوں کو تو دیکھی اُنہوں نے طور کی جانب آگ تو کہا اپنے گھروالوں سے ذرا ٹھہرو میں نے دیکھی ہے آگ، شاید کہ لے آؤں میں تمہارے لیے وہاں سے کوئی خبر یا کوئی انگارہ آگ کا (لے آؤں) تاکہ تم تاپ سکو۔

Abul Ala Maududiجب موسیٰؑ نے مدت پوری کر دی اور وہ اپنے اہل و عیال کو لے کر چلا تو طُور کی جانب اس کو ایک آگ نظر آئی اُس نے اپنے گھر والوں سے کہا "ٹھیرو، میں نے ایک آگ دیکھی ہے، شاید میں وہاں سے کوئی خبر لے آؤں یا اس آگ سے کوئی انگارہ ہی اُٹھا لاؤں جس سے تم تاپ سکو"
