Ith qala moosa li-ahlihiinnee anastu naran saateekum minhabikhabarin aw ateekum bishihabin qabasinlaAAallakum tastaloona إذ قال موسى لأهله إني آنست نارا سآتيكم منها بخبر أو آتيكم بشهاب قبس لعلكم تصطلون
إِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِأَهْلِهِ إِنِّي آنَسْتُ نَارًا سَآتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ آتِيكُم بِشِهَابٍ قَبَسٍ لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ

  (وہ واقعہ یاد کریں) جب موسٰی (علیہ السلام) نے اپنی اہلیہ سے فرمایا کہ میں نے ایک آگ دیکھی ہے (یا مجھے ایک آگ میں شعلۂ انس و محبت نظر آیا ہے)، عنقریب میں تمہارے پاس اس میں سے کوئی خبر لاتا ہوں (جس کے لئے مدت سے دشت و بیاباں میں پھر رہے ہیں) یا تمہیں (بھی اس میں سے) کوئی چمکتا ہوا انگارا لا دیتا ہوں تاکہ تم (بھی اس کی حرارت سے) تپ اٹھو

Yousuf AliBehold! Moses said to his family: "I perceive a fire; soon will I bring you from there some information, or I will bring you a burning brand to light our fuel, that ye may warn yourselves.

Abul Ala Maududi(اِنہیں اُس وقت کا قصہ سناؤ) جب موسیٰؑ نے اپنے گھر والوں سے کہا کہ "مجھے ایک آگ سی نظر آئی ہے، میں ابھی یا تو وہاں سے کوئی خبر لے کر آتا ہوں یا کوئی انگارا چن لاتا ہوں تاکہ تم لوگ گرم ہو سکو"
