Wahuwa allathee jaAAala allayla waalnnaharakhilfatan liman arada an yaththakkara aw aradashukooran وهو الذي جعل الليل والنهار خلفة لمن أراد أن يذكر أو أراد شكورا
وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِّمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًا

  اور وہی ذات ہے جس نے رات اور دن کو ایک دوسرے کے پیچھے گردش کرنے والا بنایا اس کے لئے جو غور و فکر کرنا چاہے یا شکر گزاری کا ارادہ کرے (ان تخلیقی قدرتوں میں نصیحت و ہدایت ہے)

Ahmed Aliاور وہی ہے جس نے رات اور دن یکے بعد دیگرے آنے والے بنائے یہ اس کے لیے ہے جو سمجھنا چاہے یا شکر کرنا چاہے

Abul Ala Maududiوہی ہے جس نے رات اور دن کو ایک دوسرے کا جانشین بنایا، ہر اس شخص کے لیے جو سبق لینا چاہے، یا شکر گزار ہونا چاہے
