| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [25:60] | Wa-itha qeela lahumu osjudoo lilrrahmaniqaloo wama alrrahmanu anasjudulima ta/muruna wazadahum nufooran |  وإذا قيل لهم اسجدوا للرحمن قالوا وما الرحمن أنسجد لما تأمرنا وزادهم نفوراوَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اسْجُدُوا لِلرَّحْمَنِ قَالُوا وَمَا الرَّحْمَنُ أَنَسْجُدُ لِمَا تَأْمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمْ نُفُورًا | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ تم رحمان کو سجدہ کرو تو وہ (منکرینِ حق) کہتے ہیں کہ رحمان کیا (چیز) ہے؟ کیا ہم اسی کو سجدہ کرنے لگ جائیں جس کا آپ ہمیں حکم دے دیں اور اس (حکم) نے انہیں نفرت میں اور بڑھا دیا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | When it is said to them, "Prostrate to (Allah) Most Gracious!", they say, "And what is (Allah) Most Gracious? Shall we prostrate to that which thou commandest us?" And it increases their flight (from the Truth).

| 2. [25:61] | Tabaraka allathee jaAAala feealssama-i buroojan wajaAAala feeha sirajanwaqamaran muneeran | تبارك الذي جعل في السماء بروجا وجعل فيها سراجا وقمرا منيرا تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ فِي السَّمَاءِ بُرُوجًا وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَاجًا وَقَمَرًا مُّنِيرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہی بڑی برکت و عظمت والا ہے جس نے آسمانی کائنات میں (کہکشاؤں کی شکل میں) سماوی کرّوں کی وسیع منزلیں بنائیں اور اس میں (سورج کو روشنی اور تپش دینے والا) چراغ بنایا اور (اس نظامِ شمسی کے اندر) چمکنے والا چاند بنایا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light;

| Words | |تبارك - Blessed is He| الذي - Who| جعل - has placed| في - in| السماء - the skies| بروجا - constellations| وجعل - and has placed| فيها - therein| سراجا - a lamp| وقمرا - and a moon| منيرا - shining.| | ||||||
| 3. [25:62] | Wahuwa allathee jaAAala allayla waalnnaharakhilfatan liman arada an yaththakkara aw aradashukooran | وهو الذي جعل الليل والنهار خلفة لمن أراد أن يذكر أو أراد شكورا وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِّمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور وہی ذات ہے جس نے رات اور دن کو ایک دوسرے کے پیچھے گردش کرنے والا بنایا اس کے لئے جو غور و فکر کرنا چاہے یا شکر گزاری کا ارادہ کرے (ان تخلیقی قدرتوں میں نصیحت و ہدایت ہے) | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And it is He Who made the Night and the Day to follow each other: for such as have the will to celebrate His praises or to show their gratitude.

| Words | |وهو - And He| الذي - (is) the One Who| جعل - made| الليل - the night| والنهار - and the day| خلفة - (in) succession| لمن - for whoever| أراد - desires| أن - to| يذكر - remember| أو - or| أراد - desires| شكورا - to be thankful.| | ||||||
| 4. [25:63] | WaAAibadu alrrahmaniallatheena yamshoona AAala al-ardi hawnanwa-itha khatabahumu aljahiloona qaloosalaman | وعباد الرحمن الذين يمشون على الأرض هونا وإذا خاطبهم الجاهلون قالوا سلاما وَعِبَادُ الرَّحْمَنِ الَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ الْجَاهِلُونَ قَالُوا سَلَامًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (خدائے) رحمان کے (مقبول) بندے وہ ہیں جو زمین پر آہستگی سے چلتے ہیں اور جب ان سے جاہل (اکھڑ) لوگ (ناپسندیدہ) بات کرتے ہیں تو وہ سلام کہتے (ہوئے الگ ہو جاتے) ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And the servants of (Allah) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, "Peace!";

| Words | |وعباد - And (the) slaves| الرحمن - (of) the Most Gracious| الذين - (are) those who| يمشون - walk| على - on| الأرض - the earth| هونا - (in) humbleness| وإذا - and when| خاطبهم - address them| الجاهلون - the ignorant ones,| قالوا - they say,| سلاما - "Peace."| | ||||||
| 5. [25:64] | Waallatheena yabeetoonalirabbihim sujjadan waqiyaman | والذين يبيتون لربهم سجدا وقياما وَالَّذِينَ يَبِيتُونَ لِرَبِّهِمْ سُجَّدًا وَقِيَامًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (یہ) وہ لوگ ہیں جو اپنے رب کے لئے سجدہ ریزی اور قیامِ (نِیاز) میں راتیں بسر کرتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those who spend the night in adoration of their Lord prostrate and standing;

| Words | |والذين - And those who| يبيتون - spend (the) night| لربهم - before their Lord,| سجدا - prostrating| وقياما - and standing.| | ||||||
| 6. [25:65] | Waallatheena yaqooloona rabbanaisrif AAanna AAathaba jahannama inna AAathabahakana gharaman | والذين يقولون ربنا اصرف عنا عذاب جهنم إن عذابها كان غراما وَالَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (یہ) وہ لوگ ہیں جو (ہمہ وقت حضورِ باری تعالیٰ میں) عرض گزار رہتے ہیں کہ اے ہمارے رب! تو ہم سے دوزخ کا عذاب ہٹا لے، بیشک اس کا عذاب بڑا مہلک (اور دائمی) ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those who say, "Our Lord! avert from us the Wrath of Hell, for its Wrath is indeed an affliction grievous,-

| Words | |والذين - And those who| يقولون - say,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| اصرف - Avert| عنا - from us| عذاب - the punishment| جهنم - (of) Hell.| إن - Indeed,| عذابها - its punishment| كان - is| غراما - inseparable,| | ||||||
| 7. [25:67] | Waallatheena ithaanfaqoo lam yusrifoo walam yaqturoo wakana bayna thalikaqawaman | والذين إذا أنفقوا لم يسرفوا ولم يقتروا وكان بين ذلك قواما وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا أَنفَقُوا لَمْ يُسْرِفُوا وَلَمْ يَقْتُرُوا وَكَانَ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ قَوَامًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (یہ) وہ لوگ ہیں کہ جب خرچ کرتے ہیں تو نہ بے جا اڑاتے ہیں اور نہ تنگی کرتے ہیں اور ان کا خرچ کرنا (زیادتی اور کمی کی) ان دو حدوں کے درمیان اعتدال پر (مبنی) ہوتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those who, when they spend, are not extravagant and not niggardly, but hold a just (balance) between those (extremes);

| Words | |والذين - And those who,| إذا - when| أنفقوا - they spend,| لم - (are) not extravagant| يسرفوا - (are) not extravagant| ولم - and are not stingy| يقتروا - and are not stingy| وكان - but are| بين - between| ذلك - that -| قواما - moderate.| | ||||||
| 8. [25:68] | Waallatheena layadAAoona maAAa Allahi ilahan akharawala yaqtuloona alnnafsa allatee harrama Allahuilla bialhaqqi wala yaznoona wamanyafAAal thalika yalqa athaman | والذين لا يدعون مع الله إلها آخر ولا يقتلون النفس التي حرم الله إلا بالحق ولا يزنون ومن يفعل ذلك يلق أثاما وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ وَلَا يَقْتُلُونَ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا يَزْنُونَ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (یہ) وہ لوگ ہیں جو اللہ کے ساتھ کسی دوسرے معبود کی پوجا نہیں کرتے اور نہ (ہی) کسی ایسی جان کو قتل کرتے ہیں جسے بغیرِ حق مارنا اللہ نے حرام فرمایا ہے اور نہ (ہی) بدکاری کرتے ہیں، اور جو شخص یہ کام کرے گا وہ سزائے گناہ پائے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment.

| Words | |والذين - And those who| لا - (do) not| يدعون - invoke| مع - with| الله - Allah| إلها - god| آخر - another,| ولا - and (do) not| يقتلون - [they] kill| النفس - the soul| التي - which| حرم - Allah has forbidden| الله - Allah has forbidden| إلا - except| بالحق - by right| ولا - and (do) not| يزنون - commit unlawful sexual intercourse.| ومن - And whoever| يفعل - does| ذلك - that| يلق - will meet| أثاما - a penalty.| | ||||||
| 9. [25:69] | YudaAAaf lahu alAAathabu yawmaalqiyamati wayakhlud feehi muhanan | يضاعف له العذاب يوم القيامة ويخلد فيه مهانا يُضَاعَفْ لَهُ الْعَذَابُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَيَخْلُدْ فِيهِ مُهَانًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اس کے لئے قیامت کے دن عذاب دو گنا کر دیا جائے گا اور وہ اس میں ذلت و خواری کے ساتھ ہمیشہ رہے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (But) the Penalty on the Day of Judgment will be doubled to him, and he will dwell therein in ignominy,-

| Words | |يضاعف - Will be doubled| له - for him| العذاب - the punishment| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) Resurrection,| ويخلد - and he will abide forever| فيه - therein| مهانا - humiliated| | ||||||
| 10. [25:70] | Illa man taba waamanawaAAamila AAamalan salihan faola-ikayubaddilu Allahu sayyi-atihim hasanatinwakana Allahu ghafooran raheeman | إلا من تاب وآمن وعمل عملا صالحا فأولئك يبدل الله سيئاتهم حسنات وكان الله غفورا رحيما إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا فَأُوْلَئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ اللَّهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ حَسَنَاتٍ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | مگر جس نے توبہ کر لی اور ایمان لے آیا اور نیک عمل کیا تو یہ وہ لوگ ہیں کہ اللہ جن کی برائیوں کو نیکیوں سے بدل دے گا، اور اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا نہایت مہربان ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful,

| Words | |إلا - Except| من - (he) who| تاب - repents| وآمن - and believes| وعمل - and does| عملا - righteous deeds,| صالحا - righteous deeds,| فأولئك - then (for) those| يبدل - Allah will replace| الله - Allah will replace| سيئاتهم - their evil deeds| حسنات - (with) good ones.| وكان - And is| الله - Allah| غفورا - Oft-Forgiving,| رحيما - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 11. [25:71] | Waman taba waAAamila salihanfa-innahu yatoobu ila Allahi mataban | ومن تاب وعمل صالحا فإنه يتوب إلى الله متابا وَمَن تَابَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَإِنَّهُ يَتُوبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَتَابًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جس نے توبہ کر لی اور نیک عمل کیا تو اس نے اللہ کی طرف (وہ) رجوع کیا جو رجوع کا حق تھا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to Allah with an (acceptable) conversion;-

| Words | |ومن - And whoever| تاب - repents| وعمل - and does| صالحا - righteous (deeds),| فإنه - then indeed, he| يتوب - turns| إلى - to| الله - Allah| متابا - (with) repentance.| | ||||||
| 12. [25:72] | Waallatheena layashhadoona alzzoora wa-itha marroo biallaghwimarroo kiraman | والذين لا يشهدون الزور وإذا مروا باللغو مروا كراما وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ الزُّورَ وَإِذَا مَرُّوا بِاللَّغْوِ مَرُّوا كِرَامًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (یہ) وہ لوگ ہیں جو کذب اور باطل کاموں میں (قولاً اور عملاً دونوں صورتوں میں) حاضر نہیں ہوتے اور جب بے ہودہ کاموں کے پاس سے گزرتے ہیں تو (دامن بچاتے ہوئے) نہایت وقار اور متانت کے ساتھ گزر جاتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance);

| Words | |والذين - And those who| لا - (do) not| يشهدون - bear witness| الزور - (to) the falsehood,| وإذا - and when| مروا - they pass| باللغو - by futility,| مروا - they pass| كراما - (as) dignified ones| | ||||||
| 13. [25:73] | Waallatheena itha thukkiroobi-ayati rabbihim lam yakhirroo AAalayha summanwaAAumyanan | والذين إذا ذكروا بآيات ربهم لم يخروا عليها صما وعميانا وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَمْ يَخِرُّوا عَلَيْهَا صُمًّا وَعُمْيَانًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (یہ) وہ لوگ ہیں کہ جب انہیں ان کے رب کی آیتوں کے ذریعے نصیحت کی جاتی ہے تو ان پر بہرے اور اندھے ہو کر نہیں گر پڑتے (بلکہ غور و فکر بھی کرتے ہیں) | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those who, when they are admonished with the Signs of their Lord, droop not down at them as if they were deaf or blind;

| Words | |والذين - And those who,| إذا - when| ذكروا - they are reminded| بآيات - of (the) Verses| ربهم - (of) their Lord,| لم - (do) not| يخروا - fall| عليها - upon them| صما - deaf| وعميانا - and blind.| | ||||||
| 14. [25:74] | Waallatheena yaqooloona rabbanahab lana min azwajina wathurriyyatinaqurrata aAAyunin waijAAalna lilmuttaqeena imaman | والذين يقولون ربنا هب لنا من أزواجنا وذرياتنا قرة أعين واجعلنا للمتقين إماما وَالَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (یہ) وہ لوگ ہیں جو (حضورِ باری تعالیٰ میں) عرض کرتے ہیں: اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں ہماری بیویوں اور ہماری اولاد کی طرف سے آنکھوں کی ٹھنڈک عطا فرما، اور ہمیں پرہیزگاروں کا پیشوا بنا دے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And those who pray, "Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous."

| Words | |والذين - And those who| يقولون - say,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| هب - Grant| لنا - to us| من - from| أزواجنا - our spouses| وذرياتنا - and our offspring| قرة - comfort| أعين - (to) our eyes,| واجعلنا - and make us| للمتقين - for the righteous| إماما - a leader."| | ||||||
| 15. [25:75] | Ola-ika yujzawna alghurfata bimasabaroo wayulaqqawna feeha tahiyyatan wasalaman | أولئك يجزون الغرفة بما صبروا ويلقون فيها تحية وسلاما أُوْلَئِكَ يُجْزَوْنَ الْغُرْفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا وَيُلَقَّوْنَ فِيهَا تَحِيَّةً وَسَلَامًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | انہی لوگوں کو (جنت میں) بلند ترین محلات ان کے صبر کرنے کی جزا کے طور پر بخشے جائیں گے اور وہاں دعائے خیر اور سلام کے ساتھ ان کا استقبال کیا جائے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those are the ones who will be rewarded with the highest place in heaven, because of their patient constancy: therein shall they be met with salutations and peace,

| Words | |أولئك - Those| يجزون - will be awarded| الغرفة - the Chamber| بما - because| صبروا - they were patient| ويلقون - and they will be met| فيها - therein| تحية - (with) greetings| وسلاما - and peace.| | ||||||
| 16. [25:76] | Khalideena feeha hasunatmustaqarran wamuqaman | خالدين فيها حسنت مستقرا ومقاما خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا حَسُنَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یہ اس میں ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں وہ (بلند محلاتِ جنت) بہترین قرار گاہ اور (عمدہ) قیام گاہ ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Dwelling therein;- how beautiful an abode and place of rest!
| ||||||
| Words | |خالدين - Will abide forever| فيها - in it.| حسنت - Good| مستقرا - (is) the settlement| ومقاما - and a resting place.| | ||||||
| 17. [25:77] | Qul ma yaAAbao bikum rabbee lawladuAAaokum faqad kaththabtum fasawfa yakoonu lizaman | قل ما يعبأ بكم ربي لولا دعاؤكم فقد كذبتم فسوف يكون لزاما قُلْ مَا يَعْبَؤُاْ بِكُمْ رَبِّي لَوْلَا دُعَاؤُكُمْ فَقَدْ كَذَّبْتُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَكُونُ لِزَامًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | فرما دیجئے: میرے رب کو تمہاری کوئی پرواہ نہیں اگر تم (اس کی) عبادت نہ کرو، پس واقعی تم نے (اسے) جھٹلایا ہے تو اب یہ (جھٹلانا تمہارے لئے) دائمی عذاب بنا رہے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say (to the Rejecters): "My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!"

| Words | |قل - Say,| ما - "Not| يعبأ - will care| بكم - for you| ربي - my Lord,| لولا - if not| دعاؤكم - your prayer (is to Him).| فقد - But verily,| كذبتم - you have denied,| فسوف - so soon| يكون - will be| لزاما - the inevitable (punishment)."| | ||||||
