| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [22:1] | Ya ayyuha alnnasuittaqoo rabbakum inna zalzalata alssaAAati shay-onAAatheemun |  يا أيها الناس اتقوا ربكم إن زلزلة الساعة شيء عظيميَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّ زَلْزَلَةَ السَّاعَةِ شَيْءٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||

| Yousuf Ali | O mankind! fear your Lord! for the convulsion of the Hour (of Judgment) will be a thing terrible!

[22:2] | Yawma tarawnaha tathhalu kullumurdiAAatin AAamma ardaAAat watadaAAukullu thati hamlin hamlaha wataraalnnasa sukara wama hum bisukarawalakinna AAathaba Allahi shadeedun | يوم ترونها تذهل كل مرضعة عما أرضعت وتضع كل ذات حمل حملها وترى الناس سكارى وما هم بسكارى ولكن عذاب الله شديد يَوْمَ تَرَوْنَهَا تَذْهَلُ كُلُّ مُرْضِعَةٍ عَمَّا أَرْضَعَتْ وَتَضَعُ كُلُّ ذَاتِ حَمْلٍ حَمْلَهَا وَتَرَى النَّاسَ سُكَارَى وَمَا هُم بِسُكَارَى وَلَكِنَّ عَذَابَ اللَّهِ شَدِيدٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جس دن تم اسے دیکھو گے ہر دودھ پلانے والی (ماں) اس (بچی) کو بھول جائے گی جسے وہ دودھ پلا رہی تھی اور ہر حمل والی عورت اپنا حمل گرا دے گی اور (اے دیکھنے والے!) تو لوگوں کو نشہ (کی حالت) میں دیکھے گا حالانکہ وہ (فی الحقیقت) نشہ میں نہیں ہوں گے لیکن اﷲ کا عذاب (ہی اتنا) سخت ہوگا (کہ ہر شخص حواس باختہ ہو جائے گا) | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The Day ye shall see it, every mother giving suck shall forget her suckling-babe, and every pregnant female shall drop her load (unformed): thou shalt see mankind as in a drunken riot, yet not drunk: but dreadful will be the Wrath of Allah.

[22:5] | Ya ayyuha alnnasuin kuntum fee raybin mina albaAAthi fa-inna khalaqnakummin turabin thumma min nutfatin thumma minAAalaqatin thumma min mudghatin mukhallaqatin waghayrimukhallaqatin linubayyina lakum wanuqirru fee al-arhami manashao ila ajalin musamman thumma nukhrijukum tiflanthumma litablughoo ashuddakum waminkum man yutawaffawaminkum man yuraddu ila arthali alAAumuri likaylayaAAlama min baAAdi AAilmin shay-an watara al-ardahamidatan fa-itha anzalna AAalayhaalmaa ihtazzat warabat waanbatat min kulli zawjin baheejin | يا أيها الناس إن كنتم في ريب من البعث فإنا خلقناكم من تراب ثم من نطفة ثم من علقة ثم من مضغة مخلقة وغير مخلقة لنبين لكم ونقر في الأرحام ما نشاء إلى أجل مسمى ثم نخرجكم طفلا ثم لتبلغوا أشدكم ومنكم من يتوفى ومنكم من يرد إلى أرذل العمر لكيلا يعلم من بعد علم شيئا وترى الأرض هامدة فإذا أنزلنا عليها الماء اهتزت وربت وأنبتت من كل زوج بهيج يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِن كُنتُمْ فِي رَيْبٍ مِّنَ الْبَعْثِ فَإِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ مِن مُّضْغَةٍ مُّخَلَّقَةٍ وَغَيْرِ مُخَلَّقَةٍ لِّنُبَيِّنَ لَكُمْ وَنُقِرُّ فِي الْأَرْحَامِ مَا نَشَاءُ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ نُخْرِجُكُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبْلُغُوا أَشُدَّكُمْ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّى وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرَدُّ إِلَى أَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ لِكَيْلَا يَعْلَمَ مِن بَعْدِ عِلْمٍ شَيْئًا وَتَرَى الْأَرْضَ هَامِدَةً فَإِذَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ وَأَنبَتَتْ مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ بَهِيجٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے لوگو! اگر تمہیں (مرنے کے بعد) جی اٹھنے میں شک ہے تو (اپنی تخلیق و ارتقاء پر غور کرو) کہ ہم نے تمہاری تخلیق (کی کیمیائی ابتداء) مٹی سے کی پھر (حیاتیاتی ابتداء) ایک تولیدی قطرہ سے پھر (رِحمِ مادر کے اندر جونک کی صورت میں) معلق وجود سے پھر ایک (ایسے) لوتھڑے سے جو دانتوں سے چبایا ہوا لگتا ہے، جس میں بعض اعضاء کی ابتدائی تخلیق نمایاں ہو چکی ہے اور بعض (اعضاء) کی تخلیق ابھی عمل میں نہیں آئی تاکہ ہم تمہارے لئے (اپنی قدرت اور اپنے کلام کی حقانیت) ظاہر کر دیں، اور ہم جسے چاہتے ہیں رحموں میں مقررہ مدت تک ٹھہرائے رکھتے ہیں پھر ہم تمہیں بچہ بنا کر نکالتے ہیں، پھر (تمہاری پرورش کرتے ہیں) تاکہ تم اپنی جوانی کو پہنچ جاؤ، اور تم میں سے وہ بھی ہیں جو (جلد) وفات پا جاتے ہیں اور کچھ وہ ہیں جو نہایت ناکارہ عمر تک لوٹائے جاتے ہیں تاکہ وہ (شخص یہ منظر بھی دیکھ لے کہ) سب کچھ جان لینے کے بعد (اب پھر) کچھ (بھی) نہیں جانتا، اور تو زمین کو بالکل خشک (مُردہ) دیکھتا ہے پھر جب ہم اس پر پانی برسا دیتے ہیں تو اس میں تازگی و شادابی کی جنبش آجاتی ہے اور وہ پھولنے بڑھنے لگتی ہے اور خوش نما نباتات میں سے ہر نوع کے جوڑے اگاتی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much), and (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs).

| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O mankind!| الناس - O mankind!| إن - If| كنتم - you are| في - in| ريب - doubt| من - about| البعث - the Resurrection,| فإنا - then indeed, We| خلقناكم - We created you| من - from| تراب - dust,| ثم - then| من - from| نطفة - a semen-drop| ثم - then| من - from| علقة - a clinging substance| ثم - then| من - from| مضغة - an embryonic lump,| مخلقة - formed| وغير - and unformed,| مخلقة - and unformed,| لنبين - that We may make clear| لكم - to you.| ونقر - And We cause to remain| في - in| الأرحام - the wombs| ما - what| نشاء - We will| إلى - for| أجل - a term| مسمى - appointed,| ثم - then| نخرجكم - We bring you out| طفلا - (as) a child,| ثم - [then]| لتبلغوا - that you may reach| أشدكم - [your] maturity.| ومنكم - And among you| من - (is he) who| يتوفى - dies,| ومنكم - and among you| من - (is he) who| يرد - is returned| إلى - to| أرذل - the most abject| العمر - age,| لكيلا - so that not| يعلم - he knows,| من - after| بعد - after| علم - having known,| شيئا - anything.| وترى - And you see| الأرض - the earth| هامدة - barren| فإذا - then when| أنزلنا - We send down| عليها - on it| الماء - water,| اهتزت - it gets stirred| وربت - and it swells| وأنبتت - and grows| من - of| كل - every| زوج - kind| بهيج - beautiful.| | ||||||
| 4. [22:21] | Walahum maqamiAAu min hadeedin | ولهم مقامع من حديد وَلَهُم مَّقَامِعُ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ان (کے سروں پر مارنے) کے لئے لوہے کے ہتھوڑے ہوں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | In addition there will be maces of iron (to punish) them.

| Words | |ولهم - And for them| مقامع - (are) hooked rods| من - of| حديد - iron.| | ||||||
| 5. [22:43] | Waqawmu ibraheema waqawmu lootin | وقوم إبراهيم وقوم لوط وَقَوْمُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَقَوْمُ لُوطٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور قومِ ابراہیم اور قومِ لوط نے (بھی) | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those of Abraham and Lut;

| Words | |وقوم - And (the) people| إبراهيم - (of) Ibrahim,| وقوم - and (the) people| لوط - (of) Lut| | ||||||
| 6. [22:3] | Wamina alnnasi man yujadilufee Allahi bighayri AAilmin wayattabiAAu kulla shaytaninmareedin | ومن الناس من يجادل في الله بغير علم ويتبع كل شيطان مريد وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يُجَادِلُ فِي اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَيَتَّبِعُ كُلَّ شَيْطَانٍ مَّرِيدٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور کچھ لوگ (ایسے) ہیں جو اﷲ کے بارے میں بغیر علم و دانش کے جھگڑا کرتے ہیں اور ہر سرکش شیطان کی پیروی کرتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And yet among men there are such as dispute about Allah, without knowledge, and follow every evil one obstinate in rebellion!

| 7. [22:4] | Kutiba AAalayhi annahu man tawallahufaannahu yudilluhu wayahdeehi ila AAathabi alssaAAeeri | كتب عليه أنه من تولاه فأنه يضله ويهديه إلى عذاب السعير كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ مَن تَوَلَّاهُ فَأَنَّهُ يُضِلُّهُ وَيَهْدِيهِ إِلَى عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جس (شیطان) کے بارے میں لکھ دیا گیا ہے کہ جو شخص اسے دوست رکھے گا سو وہ اسے گمراہ کر دے گا اور اسے دوزخ کے عذاب کا راستہ دکھائے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | About the (Evil One) it is decreed that whoever turns to him for friendship, him will he lead astray, and he will guide him to the Penalty of the Fire.

| 8. [22:6] | Thalika bi-anna Allaha huwa alhaqquwaannahu yuhyee almawta waannahu AAala kullishay-in qadeerun | ذلك بأن الله هو الحق وأنه يحيي الموتى وأنه على كل شيء قدير ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَأَنَّهُ يُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى وَأَنَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یہ (سب کچھ) اس لئے (ہوتا رہتا) ہے کہ اﷲ ہی سچا (خالق اور رب) ہے اور بیشک وہی مُردوں (بے جان) کو زندہ (جان دار) کرتا ہے, اور یقینًا وہی ہر چیز پر بڑا قادر ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | This is so, because Allah is the Reality: it is He Who gives life to the dead, and it is He Who has power over all things.

| Words | |ذلك - That| بأن - (is) because,| الله - Allah -| هو - He| الحق - (is) the Truth.| وأنه - And that He| يحيي - [He] gives life| الموتى - (to) the dead,| وأنه - and that He| على - (is) over| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| | ||||||
| 9. [22:7] | Waanna alssaAAata atiyatunla rayba feeha waanna Allaha yabAAathu manfee alquboori | وأن الساعة آتية لا ريب فيها وأن الله يبعث من في القبور وَأَنَّ السَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهَا وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْعَثُ مَن فِي الْقُبُورِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بیشک قیامت آنے والی ہے اس میں کوئی شک نہیں اور یقیناً اﷲ ان لوگوں کو زندہ کر کے اٹھا دے گا جو قبروں میں ہوں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And verily the Hour will come: there can be no doubt about it, or about (the fact) that Allah will raise up all who are in the graves.

| 10. [22:8] | Wamina alnnasi man yujadilufee Allahi bighayri AAilmin wala hudan walakitabin muneerin | ومن الناس من يجادل في الله بغير علم ولا هدى ولا كتاب منير وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يُجَادِلُ فِي اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَلَا هُدًى وَلَا كِتَابٍ مُّنِيرٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور لوگوں میں سے کچھ ایسے بھی ہیں جو اﷲ (کی ذات و صفات اور قدرتوں) کے بارے میں جھگڑا کرتے رہتے ہیں بغیر علم و دانش کے اور بغیر کسی ہدایت و دلیل کے اور بغیر کسی روشن کتاب کے (جو آسمان سے اتری ہو) | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Yet there is among men such a one as disputes about Allah, without Knowledge, without Guidance, and without a Book of Enlightenment,-

[22:9] | Thaniya AAitfihi liyudillaAAan sabeeli Allahi lahu fee alddunyakhizyun wanutheequhu yawma alqiyamati AAathabaalhareeqi | ثاني عطفه ليضل عن سبيل الله له في الدنيا خزي ونذيقه يوم القيامة عذاب الحريق ثَانِيَ عِطْفِهِ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ لَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَنُذِيقُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَذَابَ الْحَرِيقِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اپنی گردن کو (تکبّر سے) مروڑے ہوئے تاکہ (دوسروں کو بھی) اﷲ کی راہ سے بہکا دے، اس کے لئے دنیا میں (بھی) رسوائی ہے اور قیامت کے دن ہم اسے جلا دینے والے عذاب کا مزہ چکھائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Disdainfully) bending his side, in order to lead (men) astray from the Path of Allah: for him there is disgrace in this life, and on the Day of Judgment We shall make him taste the Penalty of burning (Fire).

| 12. [22:10] | Thalika bima qaddamat yadakawaanna Allaha laysa bithallaminlilAAabeedi | ذلك بما قدمت يداك وأن الله ليس بظلام للعبيد ذَلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاكَ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یہ تیرے ان اعمال کے باعث ہے جو تیرے ہاتھ آگے بھیج چکے تھے اور بیشک اﷲ اپنے بندوں پر بالکل ظلم کرنے والا نہیں ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (It will be said): "This is because of the deeds which thy hands sent forth, for verily Allah is not unjust to His servants.

| Words | |ذلك - That| بما - (is) for what| قدمت - have sent forth| يداك - your hands,| وأن - and that| الله - Allah| ليس - is not| بظلام - unjust| للعبيد - to His slaves.| | ||||||

[22:11] | Wamina alnnasi man yaAAbuduAllaha AAala harfin fa-in asabahukhayrun itmaanna bihi wa-in asabat-hu fitnatuninqalaba AAala wajhihi khasira alddunya waal-akhiratathalika huwa alkhusranu almubeenu | ومن الناس من يعبد الله على حرف فإن أصابه خير اطمأن به وإن أصابته فتنة انقلب على وجهه خسر الدنيا والآخرة ذلك هو الخسران المبين وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ عَلَى حَرْفٍ فَإِنْ أَصَابَهُ خَيْرٌ اطْمَأَنَّ بِهِ وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ فِتْنَةٌ انقَلَبَ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ خَسِرَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةَ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْخُسْرَانُ الْمُبِينُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور لوگوں میں سے کوئی ایسا بھی ہوتا ہے جو (بالکل دین کے) کنارے پر (رہ کر) اﷲ کی عبادت کرتا ہے، پس اگر اسے کوئی (دنیاوی) بھلائی پہنچتی ہے تو وہ اس (دین) سے مطمئن ہو جاتا ہے اور اگر اسے کوئی آزمائش پہنچتی ہے تو اپنے منہ کے بل (دین سے) پلٹ جاتا ہے، اس نے دنیا میں (بھی) نقصان اٹھایا اور آخرت میں (بھی)، یہی تو واضح (طور پر) بڑا خسارہ ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | There are among men some who serve Allah, as it were, on the verge: if good befalls them, they are, therewith, well content; but if a trial comes to them, they turn on their faces: they lose both this world and the Hereafter: that is loss for all to see!

| Words | |ومن - And among| الناس - the mankind| من - (is he) who| يعبد - worships| الله - Allah| على - on| حرف - an edge.| فإن - And if| أصابه - befalls him| خير - good,| اطمأن - he is content| به - with it,| وإن - and if| أصابته - befalls him| فتنة - a trial| انقلب - he turns| على - on| وجهه - his face.| خسر - He has lost| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and the Hereafter.| ذلك - That| هو - [it]| الخسران - (is) the loss| المبين - clear.| | ||||||
| 14. [22:12] | YadAAoo min dooni Allahi ma layadurruhu wama la yanfaAAuhu thalikahuwa alddalalu albaAAeedu | يدعو من دون الله ما لا يضره وما لا ينفعه ذلك هو الضلال البعيد يَدْعُواْ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهُ وَمَا لَا يَنفَعُهُ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الضَّلَالُ الْبَعِيدُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ (شخص) اﷲ کو چھوڑ کر اس (بت) کی عبادت کرتا ہے جو نہ اسے نقصان پہنچا سکے اور نہ ہی اسے نفع پہنچا سکے، یہی تو (بہت) دور کی گمراہی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They call on such deities, besides Allah, as can neither hurt nor profit them: that is straying far indeed (from the Way)!

| 15. [22:13] | YadAAoo laman darruhu aqrabu minnafAAihi labi/sa almawla walabi/sa alAAasheeru | يدعو لمن ضره أقرب من نفعه لبئس المولى ولبئس العشير يَدْعُواْ لَمَن ضَرُّهُ أَقْرَبُ مِن نَّفْعِهِ لَبِئْسَ الْمَوْلَى وَلَبِئْسَ الْعَشِيرُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ اسے پوجتا ہے جس کا نقصان اس کے نفع سے زیادہ قریب ہے، وہ کیا ہی برا مددگار ہے اور کیا ہی برا ساتھی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Perhaps) they call on one whose hurt is nearer than his profit: evil, indeed, is the patron, and evil the companion (or help)!

[22:14] | Inna Allaha yudkhilu allatheenaamanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati jannatintajree min tahtiha al-anharu inna AllahayafAAalu ma yureedu | إن الله يدخل الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار إن الله يفعل ما يريد إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک اﷲ ان لوگوں کو جو ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کرتے رہے جنتوں میں داخل فرمائے گا جن کے نیچے سے نہریں رواں ہیں، یقیناً اﷲ جو ارادہ فرماتا ہے کر دیتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Verily Allah will admit those who believe and work righteous deeds, to Gardens, beneath which rivers flow: for Allah carries out all that He plans.

[22:15] | Man kana yathunnu anlan yansurahu Allahu fee alddunya waal-akhiratifalyamdud bisababin ila alssama-i thummaliyaqtaAA falyanthur hal yuthhibannakayduhu ma yagheethu | من كان يظن أن لن ينصره الله في الدنيا والآخرة فليمدد بسبب إلى السماء ثم ليقطع فلينظر هل يذهبن كيده ما يغيظ مَن كَانَ يَظُنُّ أَن لَّن يَنصُرَهُ اللَّهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ فَلْيَمْدُدْ بِسَبَبٍ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ لْيَقْطَعْ فَلْيَنظُرْ هَلْ يُذْهِبَنَّ كَيْدُهُ مَا يَغِيظُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جو شخص یہ گمان کرتا ہے کہ اﷲ اپنے (محبوب و برگزیدہ) رسول کی دنیا و آخرت میں ہرگز مدد نہیں کرے گا اسے چاہئے کہ (گھر کی) چھت سے ایک رسی باندھ کر لٹک جائے پھر (خود کو) پھانسی دے لے پھر دیکھے کیا اس کی یہ تدبیر اس (نصرتِ الٰہی) کو دور کر دیتی ہے جس پر غصہ کھا رہا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | If any think that Allah will not help him (His Messenger) in this world and the Hereafter, let him stretch out a rope to the ceiling and cut (himself) off: then let him see whether his plan will remove that which enrages (him)!

| 18. [22:16] | Wakathalika anzalnahu ayatinbayyinatin waanna Allaha yahdee man yureedu | وكذلك أنزلناه آيات بينات وأن الله يهدي من يريد وَكَذَلِكَ أَنزَلْنَاهُ آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَهْدِي مَن يُرِيدُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اسی طرح ہم نے اس (پورے قرآن) کو روشن دلائل کی صورت میں نازل فرمایا ہے اور بیشک اﷲ جسے ارادہ فرماتا ہے ہدایت سے نوازتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Thus have We sent down Clear Signs; and verily Allah doth guide whom He will!

[22:17] | Inna allatheena amanoo waallatheenahadoo waalssabi-eena waalnnasarawaalmajoosa waallatheena ashrakoo inna Allahayafsilu baynahum yawma alqiyamati inna AllahaAAala kulli shay-in shaheedun | إن الذين آمنوا والذين هادوا والصابئين والنصارى والمجوس والذين أشركوا إن الله يفصل بينهم يوم القيامة إن الله على كل شيء شهيد إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَالَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالصَّابِئِينَ وَالنَّصَارَى وَالْمَجُوسَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور جو لوگ یہودی ہوئے اور ستارہ پرست اور نصارٰی (عیسائی) اور آتش پرست اور جو مشرک ہوئے، یقیناً اﷲ قیامت کے دن ان (سب) کے درمیان فیصلہ فرما دے گا۔ بیشک اﷲ ہر چیز کا مشاہدہ فرما رہا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those who believe (in the Qur'an), those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Sabians, Christians, Magians, and Polytheists,- Allah will judge between them on the Day of Judgment: for Allah is witness of all things.

[22:19] | Hathani khasmani ikhtasamoofee rabbihim faallatheena kafaroo quttiAAatlahum thiyabun min narin yusabbu min fawqiruoosihimu alhameemu | هذان خصمان اختصموا في ربهم فالذين كفروا قطعت لهم ثياب من نار يصب من فوق رءوسهم الحميم هَذَانِ خَصْمَانِ اخْتَصَمُوا فِي رَبِّهِمْ فَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا قُطِّعَتْ لَهُمْ ثِيَابٌ مِّن نَّارٍ يُصَبُّ مِن فَوْقِ رُؤُوسِهِمُ الْحَمِيمُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یہ دو فریق ہیں جو اپنے رب کے بارے میں جھگڑ رہے ہیں پس جو کافر ہوگئے ہیں ان کے لئے آتشِ دوزخ کے کپڑے کاٹ (کر، سِی) دیئے گئے ہیں۔ ان کے سروں پر کھولتا ہوا پانی انڈیلا جائے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | These two antagonists dispute with each other about their Lord: But those who deny (their Lord),- for them will be cut out a garment of Fire: over their heads will be poured out boiling water.

[22:18] | Alam tara anna Allaha yasjudu lahuman fee alssamawati waman fee al-ardiwaalshshamsu waalqamaru waalnnujoomu waaljibaluwaalshshajaru waalddawabbu wakatheerun minaalnnasi wakatheerun haqqa AAalayhi alAAathabuwaman yuhini Allahu fama lahu min mukrimin inna AllahayafAAalu ma yasha/o | ألم تر أن الله يسجد له من في السماوات ومن في الأرض والشمس والقمر والنجوم والجبال والشجر والدواب وكثير من الناس وكثير حق عليه العذاب ومن يهن الله فما له من مكرم إن الله يفعل ما يشاء أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَسْجُدُ لَهُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ وَالنُّجُومُ وَالْجِبَالُ وَالشَّجَرُ وَالدَّوَابُّ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنَ النَّاسِ وَكَثِيرٌ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِ الْعَذَابُ وَمَن يُهِنِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِن مُّكْرِمٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا تم نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اﷲ ہی کے لئے (وہ ساری مخلوق) سجدہ ریز ہے جو آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو زمین میں ہے اور سورج (بھی) اور چاند (بھی) اور ستارے (بھی) اور پہاڑ (بھی) اور درخت (بھی) اور جانور (بھی) اور بہت سے انسان (بھی)، اور بہت سے (انسان) ایسے بھی ہیں جن پر (ان کے کفر و شرک کے باعث) عذاب ثابت ہو چکا ہے، اور اﷲ جسے ذلیل کر دے تو اسے کوئی عزت دینے والا نہیں ہے۔ بیشک اﷲ جو چاہتا ہے کر دیتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Seest thou not that to Allah bow down in worship all things that are in the heavens and on earth,- the sun, the moon, the stars; the hills, the trees, the animals; and a great number among mankind? But a great number are (also) such as are fit for Punishment: and such as Allah shall disgrace,- None can raise to honour: for Allah carries out all that He wills.

| 22. [22:20] | Yusharu bihi ma fee butoonihimwaaljuloodu | يصهر به ما في بطونهم والجلود يُصْهَرُ بِهِ مَا فِي بُطُونِهِمْ وَالْجُلُودُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جس سے ان کے شکموں میں جو کچھ ہے پگھل جائے گا اور (ان کی) کھالیں بھی | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | With it will be scalded what is within their bodies, as well as (their) skins.

| 23. [22:22] | Kullama aradoo an yakhrujoominha min ghammin oAAeedoo feeha wathooqooAAathaba alhareeqi | كلما أرادوا أن يخرجوا منها من غم أعيدوا فيها وذوقوا عذاب الحريق كُلَّمَا أَرَادُوا أَن يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا مِنْ غَمٍّ أُعِيدُوا فِيهَا وَذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْحَرِيقِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ جب بھی شدّتِ تکلیف سے وہاں سے نکلنے کا ارادہ کریں گے (تو) اس میں واپس لوٹا دیئے جائیں گے اور (ان سے کہا جائے گا:) سخت آگ کے عذاب کا مزہ چکھو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Every time they wish to get away therefrom, from anguish, they will be forced back therein, and (it will be said), "Taste ye the Penalty of Burning!"

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور انہیں (دنیا میں) پاکیزہ قول کی ہدایت کی گئی اور انہیں (اسلام کے) پسندیدہ راستہ کی طرف رہنمائی کی گئی | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | For they have been guided (in this life) to the purest of speeches; they have been guided to the Path of Him Who is Worthy of (all) Praise.

[22:23] | Inna Allaha yudkhilu allatheenaamanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati jannatintajree min tahtiha al-anharu yuhallawnafeeha min asawira min thahabin walu/lu-anwalibasuhum feeha hareerun | إن الله يدخل الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار يحلون فيها من أساور من ذهب ولؤلؤا ولباسهم فيها حرير إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤًا وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيهَا حَرِيرٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک اﷲ ان لوگوں کو جو ایمان لے آئے ہیں اور نیک اعمال انجام دیتے ہیں جنتوں میں داخل فرمائے گا جن کے نیچے سے نہریں جاری ہیں وہاں انہیں سونے کے کنگنوں اور موتیوں سے آراستہ کیا جائے گا، اور وہاں ان کا لباس ریشم ہوگا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Allah will admit those who believe and work righteous deeds, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow: they shall be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls; and their garments there will be of silk.

[22:26] | Wa-ith bawwa/na li-ibraheemamakana albayti an la tushrik bee shay-an watahhirbaytiya liltta-ifeena waalqa-imeenawaalrrukkaAAi alssujoodi | وإذ بوأنا لإبراهيم مكان البيت أن لا تشرك بي شيئا وطهر بيتي للطائفين والقائمين والركع السجود وَإِذْ بَوَّأْنَا لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ مَكَانَ الْبَيْتِ أَن لَّا تُشْرِكْ بِي شَيْئًا وَطَهِّرْ بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّائِفِينَ وَالْقَائِمِينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُودِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (وہ وقت یاد کیجئے) جب ہم نے ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کے لئے بیت اﷲ (یعنی خانہ کعبہ کی تعمیر) کی جگہ کا تعین کر دیا (اور انہیں حکم فرمایا) کہ میرے ساتھ کسی چیز کو شریک نہ ٹھہرانا اور میرے گھر کو (تعمیر کرنے کے بعد) طواف کرنے والوں اور قیام کرنے والوں اور رکوع کر نے والوں اور سجود کرنے والوں کے لئے پاک و صاف رکھنا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Behold! We gave the site, to Abraham, of the (Sacred) House, (saying): "Associate not anything (in worship) with Me; and sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or stand up, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer).

[22:25] | Inna allatheena kafaroo wayasuddoonaAAan sabeeli Allahi waalmasjidi alharamiallathee jaAAalnahu lilnnasi sawaanalAAakifu feehi waalbadi waman yurid feehibi-ilhadin bithulmin nuthiqhu min AAathabinaleemin | إن الذين كفروا ويصدون عن سبيل الله والمسجد الحرام الذي جعلناه للناس سواء العاكف فيه والباد ومن يرد فيه بإلحاد بظلم نذقه من عذاب أليم إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ الَّذِي جَعَلْنَاهُ لِلنَّاسِ سَوَاءً الْعَاكِفُ فِيهِ وَالْبَادِ وَمَن يُرِدْ فِيهِ بِإِلْحَادٍ بِظُلْمٍ نُذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا ہے اور (دوسروں کو) اﷲ کی راہ سے اور اس مسجدِ حرام (کعبۃ اﷲ) سے روکتے ہیں جسے ہم نے سب لوگوں کے لئے یکساں بنایا ہے اس میں وہاں کے باسی اور پردیسی (میں کوئی فرق نہیں)، اور جو شخص اس میں ناحق طریقہ سے کج روی (یعنی مقررہ حدود و حقوق کی خلاف ورزی) کا ارادہ کرے ہم اسے دردناک عذاب کا مزہ چکھائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | As to those who have rejected (Allah), and would keep back (men) from the Way of Allah, and from the Sacred Mosque, which We have made (open) to (all) men - equal is the dweller there and the visitor from the country - and any whose purpose therein is profanity or wrong-doing - them will We cause to taste of a most Grievous Penalty.

[22:27] | Waaththin fee alnnasibialhajji ya/tooka rijalan waAAalakulli damirin ya/teena min kulli fajjin AAameeqin | وأذن في الناس بالحج يأتوك رجالا وعلى كل ضامر يأتين من كل فج عميق وَأَذِّن فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالًا وَعَلَى كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَأْتِينَ مِن كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيقٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور تم لوگوں میں حج کا بلند آواز سے اعلان کرو وہ تمہارے پاس پیدل اور تمام دبلے اونٹوں پر (سوار) حاضر ہو جائیں گے جو دور دراز کے راستوں سے آتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men: they will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every kind of camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways;

[22:28] | Liyashhadoo manafiAAa lahum wayathkurooisma Allahi fee ayyamin maAAloomatin AAalama razaqahum min baheemati al-anAAami fakuloo minhawaatAAimoo alba-isa alfaqeera | ليشهدوا منافع لهم ويذكروا اسم الله في أيام معلومات على ما رزقهم من بهيمة الأنعام فكلوا منها وأطعموا البائس الفقير لِيَشْهَدُوا مَنَافِعَ لَهُمْ وَيَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَّعْلُومَاتٍ عَلَى مَا رَزَقَهُم مِّن بَهِيمَةِ الْأَنْعَامِ فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا الْبَائِسَ الْفَقِيرَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | تاکہ وہ اپنے فوائد (بھی) پائیں اور (قربانی کے) مقررہ دنوں کے اندر اﷲ نے جو مویشی چوپائے ان کو بخشے ہیں ان پر (ذبح کے وقت) اﷲ کے نام کا ذکر بھی کریں، پس تم اس میں سے خود (بھی) کھاؤ اور خستہ حال محتاج کو (بھی) کھلاؤ | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "That they may witness the benefits (provided) for them, and celebrate the name of Allah, through the Days appointed, over the cattle which He has provided for them (for sacrifice): then eat ye thereof and feed the distressed ones in want.

| 30. [22:29] | Thumma lyaqdoo tafathahum walyoofoonuthoorahum walyattawwafoo bialbaytialAAateeqi | ثم ليقضوا تفثهم وليوفوا نذورهم وليطوفوا بالبيت العتيق ثُمَّ لْيَقْضُوا تَفَثَهُمْ وَلْيُوفُوا نُذُورَهُمْ وَلْيَطَّوَّفُوا بِالْبَيْتِ الْعَتِيقِ | |||||
